I'm sorry guys! I've been so busy lately, things are dying down to normal now though so I'll be posting my cs within the hour.
Okay here it is! I saw that mental health issues would be accepted on a case by case basis. My characters disability is caused by a mental health issue, so I hope it's alright but feel free to veto it.
Name: Katsumi (given name) Mori (surname)
Age: 17
Birthday: April 1st 1998
Year level: 11
Sexuality: bisexual
Club (if any): literature club, art club
Disabilities (if any): Struggling with anorexia since the young age of ten has left Katsumi's body broken and full of holes. She has numerous heart complications including an abnormal heart rhythm, loss of muscle mass and mitral valve prolapse. In addition she has lost significant bone density and has lost her ability to bear children permanently. She is able to walk and perform basic functions but cannot participate in any strenuous activities. On occasion when the day has been too tiring she uses a wheelchair, but tries to avoid it as her her arms are weak and she doesn't like to ask for help. She must have her heart checked regularly and takes numerous medications to ensure her health, however her life expectancy has dropped significantly. It is suspected by psychiatrists that a mild form of OCD combined with other triggers was the cause of her eating disorder, however she refuses to speak with doctors or therapists so not much is known.
Job/occupation (if any): For her age, Katsumi is a talented artist and makes a small amount of money from time to time selling prints of her paintings online. It gives her a sense of purpose but more often frustrates her because she feels she shouldn't let others see her work until it's perfect.
Appearance:
5'6", dark brown hair, green eyes and pale skin. Visibly underweight but not concerningly so anymore.
Personality: Before the onset of her disorder, Katsumi was a bright, lively and creative girl. However, developing such a life changing problem at a young age has left her a completely different person. When she isn't tired, she is usually anxious and deals with it by drinking cup after cup of tea and pacing through the halls in the middle of the night. In her depression she might also retreat into her books and art to create a world she feels happy in. When she's tired, she feels like she doesn't even have the energy to speak to others, and wanders through the school like a pale ghost, hoping she'll be invisible enough so that no one will bother her. As you can see, in any of these scenarios there's no room for others. She does still talk to her parents, but she's pushed everyone else out of her life to cut down on stress and complications. She mostly eats a normal amount now, pushed by fear of further health issues, but refuses to eat anything but what she usually does and will retreat to a closet or space where she can lock the door to make sure she is alone. If anyone did become close to her they would learn that when she's feeling well she has a sharp wit, an eye for the obscure and a good sense of humor, though it can be dark. She has a deep love for cats because she feels they understand her avoidance of other people and sensitivity. Deep down she loves cute things and dressing up, but doesn't like to draw attention to herself so she will usually wear grey hoodies instead.
Backstory: What is known about her is very little, but from what is understood, she came from a normal, middle class family. Others suspect they aren't as normal as they appear, due to the mental health of their daughter, but no one will confirm it as the topic is sensitive. She came to the acadamy after her health stabalized and she began eating regularly. Her parents hoped that being around other disadvanteged children would help Katsumi cope. In reality it just depresses her, but she doesn't want to burden her parents so she keeps quiet about it.
Notes: The best way to approach her is to quietly read or do other non intrusive activities in areas she frequents and slowly build up to talking to her.
