So apparently, business shorts are a thing that exists. All I can say is... why?

Been busy lately, courtesy of the guy who thought that it was a good idea to have 3 assignments and a test due in the same week.

Bio

Anyone remember the period a little after guildfall, when the site didn't have a lot of work put into it, the servers went down pretty often and people were moving out? We waited and waited until boom, Mahz made America the guild great again. That was about where I left off.

My mistake was trying to take on everything at once (and being cringy as hell but I mean come on). Well now I'm back, and better than ever.

And I'll be damned if I let anything get in the way of having a good time.

Looks like Tony had his answer. As he watched his teammates running into the fray, he was reminded somewhat of his military career. There were the idealists jumping straight in and the people who followed so that they wouldn't get killed. It made him feel at home, in his element. It wasn't exactly the greatest situation but he felt at ease regardless.

Tony moved forward to follow his teammates, blocking the odd orc or two. He headed to the frontlines alongside Leila as she moved, towards the town center as it turned out, and took up his position beside the others close to the center. He half-raised his shield and readied his axe, in preparation for an engagement. He said nothing while doing so, not because he didn't have things to say, but because it wasn't the time to say them. And he was never exactly a good speaker.

Tony was a soldier, all he knew was fighting and cooking, and right now he needed to fight. They could dance with words all they liked but at the end of the day, it would turn to bloodshed. Because when words failed, all that is left is war, and Tony had been living in war for as long as he could remember. He wasn't sure that they could really take on the tyrant in the state they were in, but it didn't matter. He would be ready to defend his teammates, because that was all he that could do right now.

Quintboogaloo if I'm not mistaken. Built the bandwagon.

It had a few other iterations but this is like a blank slate so you don't really need to know anything.

That don't mean I don't want to know. Come on, just give me a short history lesson.
Hm... I've been poking around a bit and I noticed this RP apparently had another iteration. Can anyone spare me some details about it?
@Lord of Evil I was planning on it but the mention of "armor is basically useless against rift beasts" and "even gods of war get torn apart" I decided to go for agility over armor.

Oh. Right.
Hey wait a second

you can either go classic Talentium-wielding melee dude, a monster of your choice, or the pilot of an ancient mech

Why hasn't anyone taken the mech pilot route?
@Lord of Evil Your character seems cool but aren't rift beasts basically immune to fire?

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Could always shoot it in the mouth I guess
Right, I think I'm done. Probably. How's it look?

Tony sighed loudly. First rule in the soldier's manual of not dying: don't go in outnumbered without a plan. That wasn't to say she didn't have a plan, just that if she did, he wasn't exactly seeing its brilliance. But Tony had never been payed to plan, so he could at least respect the girl's willingness to join the fray, regardless of the amount of thought in that decision.

Tony dropped his pack as the monk ran off, equipping himself as he did. A freshly sharpened axe and polished shield were his weapons of choice, products of having the luxury to relax and perform weapon maintenance.

Tony turned to the rest of the group, ready for battle but not quite ready to jump straight in.
"Well, lookd like our glorious leader is joining the fray." He said sarcastically. "What are we going to do about it?"
If you want me to summarise tonight's menu then here you go: There's the spit-roasted deer, a bear stew and an oven roasted duck. Somewhere between a third and a half of the bear meat is in the stew, the rest went to making bear jerky for the trip. Speaking of which, anyone want bear jerky?
