So, after 10 years of playing DND with the same party, a buddy of mine is DMing his first adventure. So I thought I'd try something out that i haven't done before, playing 2 characters.

See, the idea that I had was to play a Bard/Rogue, but since i figured multiclassing at lvl 3 might be a bit dull decided I'd try playing siblings. Olo, a Halfling Rouge with a fascination of music and his brother Odo who was cursed to be a mimic (who can only turn into a small thing once a day) a year before meeting our new party. I talked to my bud and he said he was cool with the idea.

I've been reading up on Mimics as PCs and nothing has seemed to help. Some homebrews were cool, but it all seemed a bit overpowered.

This one was probably my favorite.

I'm not too sure about the stats though.
how should I go about this to fairly play this character
I'm def interested.
I've always wanted to play this.
So I've never done something like this before but it really interests me. If you would be willing to bear with me and help me get the gist of it I would be very happy to play!!

As far as I understand it..... you're an anime girl maid (obviously...) trying to please your master (the GM) with the completion of tasks. The way a character is generated is done by dice roll and a table. You have to play your character the way that it's rolled out for you. As far as I know the only really "customizing" is your name and other stuff in game.

I might be wrong about some of it. But I'm sure there's a lot more to it.

I was watching these guys play a while ago and wanted to try my hand at it.... but no one wants to be a cute little anime girl with me....

I'm completely down with playing. I've never played, so I would be a terrible GM for it. If we can get a couple of more people in on it I'd be on the wagon :D.

Sorry it took so long. I haven't had internet in a month.
So. I've been wanting to play for a while. But every one of my partymates think they have to lower their dignity.

Rather do it in a thread so the story can be restudied. Screenshoting dice rolls to prove sucesses and failures.

I was thinking about using the Maid RPG system and basing the game around the universe of an actual anime. Same premise. But players would be forced to follow the rules of that specific universe. And references of towns and shops from the shows would be kinda cool.

Anu takers?
@lordmikebedlam
I got an D&D-esque RP thats missing only 1 or 2 players, you interested?

Pm me deets!
If the thread is there to spark sharing and discussion, then Off Topic may be your best bet. The Gallery tends to be the quiet section where people willshare their own written work or art requests, but I wouldn't say the traffic there would aid in something like a music thread.

Thank you kindly!
I wanted to make a thread for people to post their artistic endeavors that's nonliterary. Could I get away with making it in "The Gallery"? Or should I do it in off topic?
GOOD EVENING/MORNING/AFTERNOON (where ever the hell you are!)

I'm looking forward to playing some interesting RPGs with you all. I've been playing RPGs most of my life (tabletop about.... 8 years now I think?). I've mainly been hooked on DnD, A Song of Ice and Fire, Call of Cthulu, and recently picked up a DBZ RPG.

Would any of you be interested in playing a Darkly themed Pokemon RPG? Or maybe a Fallout RPG? I have a couple of ideas for campaigns for a lot of different games!

I'm excited to be part of a new community :D!
