g-octavi said Actually the War ended in 2375

Doing the Stardate calculation puts the penultimate episode of DS9 in November 2375, so...

So... What year is this set in?

g-octavi said ok so i think the best year to set it in will be 2375, the year after Voyager made contact with Star Fleet after being lost in the Delta Quadrant.

Also, you do realise that's kind of the height of the Dominion War, right? Since it includes everything from just after the First Battle of Chintoka to the Battle of Cardassia Prime. Not the best time to be off exploring.
Admittedly those sorts of holes are far from the only problems in the two fics.
The problem is that the bulk of the fic I made him for was written pre-BBS, so I didn't really have that hammered out in my head. >.<
Well, here's a little something I dug out of my back-catalogue of fanfic OCs.

Name: Kazé

Age: 14

Gender : Male

Appearance: Short and slight with brown eyes and neck-length brown hair with a white streak in it down the left side of his face; the result of the damage being done to his body by his Heartless side. Wears a Black Robe he stole from his replica after defeating it.

Personality: Rendered slightly reclusive after some of his experiences, but still light hearted and jocular.

Equipment / Abilities: Has a black Keyblade he dubbed the "Raven's wing" purely on the basis of its design; the blade, head and hilt guards all bear some manner of wing-like motif. He also has access to basic magic, in particular fire, blizzard, thunder and cure spells.

Extra: Taifu: Kazé's “evil” half, the result of his blood being tainted by Heartless matter. Eschews the Keyblade for more powerful magic. Typically released if Kazé is knocked out during battle. Otherwise he's just a voice in the teen's head.

Backstory: Born and raised on the Destiny Islands, Kazé managed to miss its destruction by the Heartless and reconstruction, but only because he'd been kidnapped some time before and locked inside of a virtual world by Organisation XIII as part of an experiment.

Following his release, but still operating under a fabricated identity, he helped Sora and his friends halt a resurgent Heartless threat and undo the damage caused, and in the process regained his old memories.

However, one of the battles he fought during this time left him tainted; darkness released by a recently destroyed Heartless entered an open wound on his arm, slowly corrupting him, and causing him to leave his home again and go wandering the worlds in search of a solution...
His abilities grant invulnerability and magic immunity, turning him into an unstoppable force on a hairpin.

I'll give you a hint, that sort of thing is usually a no-no.
Yeah, in general it's expected that you put some effort into your signups. This was also the case on the TVT RP board, which you claimed to have come from, so I'm not sure why you're thinking that things would be more lax here.

Speaking of which, gonna try rejoining with this and see if I can break the procrastination that made me quit before.

Name: Éclair Martinozzi
Universe: Dog Days
Appearance: Here ya go.
Personality: Éclair has a serious, yet stubborn nature. In addition to having a few Tsundere tendencies, she also has something of an inferiority complex regarding her ears, which are smaller than most of her peers’ as well as drooping down rather than pricked up.
Powers/Skills: Emblem Arts:
  • Skycracking Cutter (烈空一文字): Eclair slashes out an energy blast dealing damage to her opponents.

  • Skycracking Cross (列空十文字): Eclair fires off a cross-shaped energy blast towards the opponent(s) using her twin-swords.

Brief Bio: Éclair is the captain of the Praetorian Guard of the Biscotti Knights, from a world where war between nations has become a spectator sport and the land’s natural magic ensures that no-one involved suffers any actual harm beyond turning into a fluffball or having their clothes destroyed.
Equipment: Twin short swords.
WIP

Name: Serena Darkblade
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Race: As far as she knows, she's human, but she's actually a halfbreed. Exactly what her other half is, she doesn't know (Read: I haven't decided yet).
Appearance: Like this.
Profession: Assassin

Personality: Serena is tacit and withdrawn. While this might seem like it’s her being detached as a result of her work, the truth is she’s just shy. As a result she’s easily flustered, and will often simply devolve into blushing and stammering if put on the spot.

Equipment/Weapons: Carries a small supply of smoke bombs and other distraction tools in various pouches, along with a pair of retractable blades concealed on the underside of her wrists.

Abilities: Serena’s slender frame makes her an ideal free-runner, as well as leaving her able to slip into tight spaces without too much trouble when she needs to make a covert entry or slip away from pursuers. She’s also a capable housebreaker, able to overcome most common locks reasonably easily, although if faced with a particularly complicated one she’ll simply look for a different point of entry. This lock picking skill also extends to opening chests and disarming traps. In keeping with her credo as a Guild assassin, she’s also skilled in using a variety of non-lethal takedown methods for quietly incapacitating guards and potential witnesses.

Brief Backstory: Serena was orphaned at a very young age; early enough that she has no memory of her parents. She was effectively raised by the Guild, trained in its ways and practices, and taught to master its skills.
Guild Name: Assassin’s Guild

Guild Head: Tobias Eastwind

Guild Description: Killers for hire, but not psychotics. There’s a difference. Guild-sanctioned Assassins have rules against killing anyone but the target assigned to them, and only subduing bystanders whenever at all possible. The Guild also has a tendency to draw its acolytes from orphans and runaways; people who won’t be missed.
"Should be fun." Nicole threw her uniform shirt onto the unoccupied bunk and slipped on the desert camo one instead. "Hopefully they didn't break the damn things getting them over here."
"Bradshaw. Ensign Nicole Bradshaw." She shook the offered hand. "Probably a bit greener than everyone else in the wing."

She sighed.

"So what's got him all riled up then?"
