Magical Ability: As a Night Witch, Jenny has the ability to generate a Magical Radar antenna, allowing her to detect Neuroi at long ranges.

Animal Familiar: Eastern Grey Squirrel

Personality: The simplest way of putting it is that Jenny’s shy. She’s soft-spoken, slightly introverted and tends to avoid contact when she can. In some ways, it’s probably fitting that she’s a Night Witch, since that way she gets a lot of time to herself, and she seems to be a lot more comfortable sending messages to other patrolling NWs than actually talking to people.

Personality: A bit of a nerd, although not too prone to geeking out. Used to be quite shy, but working on opening up to the world.
History: Fairly standard nerd backstory. Bullied at school, lost himself in the Internet for a while as a result. Recently realised he needs to belt up and actually make something of his life rather than just wasting away in front of a computer. Although he’s also not sure exactly what that means.
Starting items: Carries a rucksack containing a laptop, charger, notepads and pens, and assorted USB cables. Has a smartphone, MP3 player and assorted other odds and ends in his pockets.

[30 Dec 2014] I'm currently rewriting the core of the Guild to address its stability issues.
- The original code is now one year old, so I'm addressing performance issues
I was unable to foresee back then.
- I'm going to be open-sourcing the new server so that any web developers in
the community will be able to submit bug fixes and patches once it's ready.
(Of course, user data will be secured on the private database that nobody
has access to)
- The new stack is Node.js + Postgres (SQL) to make the codebase friendlier
for community contributions.
- I will begin testing it on a development server soon.
- Everything will pretty much function the same, and I'll of course migrate
all existing posts/users/pms/etc before I deploy the new code.
- My goal is to have a stable server with an open codebase so that even
a newbie programmer can contribute. I'm excited. :)
