Brainstorming: Hypothetical Super Robot Wars-style Mecha Crossover RP.

So after spending a while moaning to various people about the lack of any sort of mecha crossover RP I figured it was time to bite the bullet and try running one myself.

However, the problem I'm facing, beyond the lack of confidence I have as a GM (which this RP is meant to address) is that I don't really have any ideas for a setting / framing device or indeed anything resembling a plot.

So I figured I'd open it to the floor. What would you all like to see?

  • Personality Traits: I’ve spent so long in the temple that I have little practical experience dealing with people in the outside world.
  • Ideal: Faith. I trust that my deity will guide my actions. I have faith that if I work hard, things will go well. (Lawful)
  • Bond: I would die to recover an ancient relic of my faith that was lost long ago.
  • Flaw: My piety sometimes leads me to blindly trust those that profess faith in my god.

  • Reason For Embracing The Sea: Wanting to see and understand life outside the shrine.
• Backstory: Kohaku was found abandoned outside a shrine when he was very young, and was taken in by the shrine's attendants. It isn't entirely clear why they raised him as a miko but that's what they did. They taught him to be a healer, and all the other things he would need to be a part of life at the shrine. However, this has left him a little bit unsure about how things in the outside world work.
