So much philosophy I feel like I've got my head stuck in an ice cream koan.

Interested, I think.
It's probably better if you don't wait for me. I'm pretty notorious for being slow to get sheets together.
I guess I need to come up with a character idea then, since the only OC I have is a video game glitch that obviously doesn't work in any other interpretation of the universe.
Xanthe had mostly zoned out on the long escort run; Gee had mostly kept the autopilot ticking over and there wasn't a whole lot else to focus on.

At least until the radio perked up. Squints were bad news at the best of times, easily able to outrun and outmanoeuvre larger craft like their X-Wings. And her last simulated run through Endor hadn't exactly ended well.

With a sigh, she reached forward and tapped a control, shifting her craft's S-foils into combat position and shunting power into the laser cannons. As the first green bolts surged past them, she dragged the stick back and left, pulling her fighter into a long climbing turn before pitching back down to aim at the closest grey screamer.
OK, I guess I didn't really need to design a custom helmet for her, but yeah.
  • Name: Xanthe Wix
  • Age: 20
  • Gender: Female
  • Race: Human
  • Appearance: Something like this. Flight Helmet.
  • Personality: Xanthe has something of a bubbly personality, although she isn't so energetic that it affects her ability to carry out her duties. This is mainly because she's got enough sense to keep her energy confined to her quarters, rather than the flight deck or her cockpit.
  • Profession: Pilot, New Republic Starfighter Corps
  • Skills: As well as being a trained pilot, Xanthe is a skilled hunter and tracker as a result of her upbringing. If posted with a ground team, this makes her a reasonably competent sniper.
  • Abilities: Nothing specific.
  • Equipment: Flies a T-65 X-Wing, assisted by her astromech droid, R2-G3. Carries a standard issue com-link and a DH-17 blaster pistol.
  • Brief Backstory: Xanthe can really only be described as "fresh meat". Just out of the Academy and still kind of unsteady at the controls.

Xanthe was born on Wakeelmui not long before the Battle of Yavin. Her father was a line worker at the Sienar Fleet Systems factory on the forested world. As the garrison lessened in the wake of the Battle of Endor, and it gradually became possible to do so without being arrested, her father taught her to hunt local fauna, before she left home to attend the Academy.
Well, not quite finished but whatever.

I'm in, I think.
Given the combination of my lack of inspiration, my university workload and general dissatisfaction with the atmosphere here, I am going to withdraw my interest.

Sorry.
I guess I'm kind of interested but I have precisely no clue what to do for characters or anything else.
