I could make the UMMA look bad... You could say that there will be people who think what the UMMA is doing is selfish.

They're basically monopolizing interdimensional trade and travel from the few snippets provided. And since there's a lack of information about the Shadow Eternity, at the moment, they look like this force opposing The good guys OR the force opposing this big bad government that's hogging everything in the multiverse (depends on one's point of view).

Good/Evil vs Evil/Good would be interesting, at least more so than a pure Good vs Evil plot.

About the Pegasus Gate and DHD, can a Milkyway DHD be hooked up to a Pegasus gate because I don't believe that the Pegasus DHDs have the necessary constellations on them to dial all of the gates in the Milkyway. They can dial earth, the home world but I don't think other gates in the Milkyway would be a viable option with the symbols present on the Pegasus DHD.

Pegasus glyphs are completely different to Milky Way glyphs, so...

Like I said, DHD. If the gate has a working DHD then it takes priority by default.

Also, keep in mind that most of the time the Gate will be useless anyway, since without a valid Point Of Origin it can't be dialled (See the points in Within the Serpent's Grasp when SG-1 try to dial off of Apophis' ship and SG-2 try to dial on to it). So it's only a problem when the ship is in orbit somewhere, assuming someone knows the address and there's no gate on the planet with a working DHD.
