I'm with you guys, I find it makes the characters less scattered. But because there's the hierarchy, I find that a lot of people look to the GM to keep the story flowing alone - which is where the RP sort of dies. Not that you couldn't come up with a strong enough story, but when there's only one person working hard to keep the plot alive, it gets hard. Reaper vs Reaper is good for the tiniest while, but then it needs to branch out, because as a lot of you said - it gets old. But I'd be happy to sit on it for a couple of days and come up with ideas to toss out for future arcs.

I agree with that hierarchy point, but I believe that's easier manageable than a lot of scattered characters :3

In my opinion, Reaper vs. Reaper is really good when it comes down to settling some rivalries or disputes that arose between PC's over the course of RP. Then Reaper vs. Reaper is, of course, good. But yeah, if R vs. R is a basis for the plot, then It would have to branch out at some point before getting old.

@Myst - ah, reminds me of a sorta Resident Evil-ish scheme with Plagas and other parasites (if you guys are familiar with RE universe). That's not a bad thing though, I love RE.

This kind of an arc would be good for introducing and adding stronger Arrancar/Espada antagonists to the fray, as they'd certainly want to have their hands on such powerful parasite. And it could be easy to link with the plot against Jacks - be it before or after it's resolved.

That said, the second one has potential to be linked as well, like Riddle said, and it's always good to have that sort of a plot in mind, in case we decide to go into that directions. Like you said, that's where potential lies to mold a completely new race with new abilities and of course, their home world.

I do like them both and was thinking. The general outlay of the RP would be something like (mind you, this is just a roughly sketched concept):

1. Introduction to the new era of Shinigami
2. Shinigami vs. Jacks, part 1; Revenge Arc
3. Shinigami vs. Jacks, part 2; Enter Nobunaga
4. Shinigami vs. Jacks, the end; The Silent Legacy
5. The Plaga Arc / Slenderman Arc

Add to all of that personal quarrels between PC's, their own ambitions and goals - and you get a nice general outlay.
What's fair is fair indeed. :3
Nero Aegis

Now he had done it, since he gave one of them a go, there was no way he could leave without allowing Sui to touch it as well. Although the fact that Nishiki took the matter in her own hands brought a sigh of relief out of his mouth. He knew that there were some open minded people in Soul Society, but this whole charade certainly took him by surprise. And although he showed his usual stingy self, he didn't dislike this kind of interaction. He didn't want to admit it, but he liked it.

"Not true", Nero tried correcting his narrator once again, but this time it was a blatant lie. After all, what sane person would mind a cute girl calling him cute. Smile back was all the he managed to do.

Trying to ignore Nishiki's attempts to tease him a little bit more (although he noted the possibility of claiming a kiss at one point - just in case), he turned his head to Sui. He was going to be fair about it, but Sui didn't have to know it was his goal directly. "She's right, you know? It is much nicer than people expect, so at least I can let you try it yourself." At least he didn't have to worry about his hair leaving bad impressions of him, as he took extra care of it - even washing it with a special shampoo that he himself invented. "But," he continued, thinking of the best way to express himself, "since I don't really let people touch my hair - I'll have to consider you two..:"

Friends. That's what first came to his mind, but there was no valid ground for him to call them friends after a single interaction, although the idea did seem tempting. "Close acquaintances."

Boy, didn't you read? They me, they're gonna sit on your ass....Or more so sit their ass on you, and play with you in twenty different ways. Twenty one if they're feeling hot enough.

God no. Just not the ass-sitting!

I'm not giving Nikishi the pleasure of playing around with Nero >.<

Touch the hardest part of my body then you've pleased me just enough.

Easy enough.
A smirk appeared on Nero's face as he seemingly deflected Sui. He was certain that he made the right decision by asking for something in return. "That's right," Nero confidently followed up on Nishiki's first sentence, "Unfortunately, the jacket wouldn't suit me." And that was supposed to be it, just another confirming sentence from Nishiki and the last nail would be driven into the coffin of this topic. He was walking out of here a victor.

Well, that was how it was supposed to go, but the actual sentence was not one that he predicted - not in a million years.

There were countless variables and possibilities, but this one was one of the lowest possible outcomes. The expression on his face said it all - his eyes were widened and his jaw would fall to the floor if it could. He felt that he was getting redder in the face with each second and instinctively wiped the part of his face below his nose. He thought that he felt blood, but it was only in his imagination. There was no other explanation to this - she was completely and utterly crazy. She had to be.

For one of the first times in his life, Nero had absolutely no idea what to say. Or do, for that matter. Accept it, screw the haircut! His brain told him, but he furiously shook his head. It was not the brain in his head that was telling him that. "You wouldn't..." He blurted out before she mentioned a smooch session between her and Sui. If he was a pot, he was sure that steam would be going out of his ears by now. Imagination was a wild thing and it just went from a spark to a full-power flame. There was no way he could accept that. Or was there? What could he lose?

He closed in on Nikishi, feeling his heart almost bursting out of his chest. He took her hand and closed his eyes. "No!" He wasn't that kind of a man; he wore a suit! He was a gentleman, and a true gentleman would never take up such an offer. He bowed down and put her hand on his hair. "Here. Just... just stop! I don't want to die from a heart attack." The last sentence actually slipped out and wasn't something that he meant to say as it gave out indications that he actually did imagine all of it.
Great, great. Since there is only one way out of this :3
