Well, that sounds like it's going to be a fun event ^.^

Good thing that you are not back yet, since the post is still not up :P Had some problems, but am working on it now.
I'dl gladly talk about it :3

YOU'RE GETTING MARRIED?!

I'm probably jumping far far ahead of time here :P have a great time at a wedding and eat some cake for me~ thank you <3

So, we have a really good timing here ^.^ I'll be back in action come tomorrow, so you can expect a post then.

EDIT: "I'dl" - creating new words since '95.
Well, I kinda thought that the police would call in Volgin in my next post - that way the two would have a good reason to go their own ways, like "oh yeah, I have to go, bla bla" - "oh okay, keep me up-to-date, will ya?" - "sure, mate" - "buh bye."

As for what was going to happen next - I, err... Haven't thought that far yet, probably because I don't have time to work on a post currently, so I left it for the time when I will :P
You did it ^.^ so Lilith managed to take out her first five victims, I'm impressed (*cough*Aleks said that*cough*). I hope so to~ So, what did you have in mind for those police cars Lily mentioned in her text?

(I can call you Chi more often then :P)
Sweet~ And when I say sweet, I mean cloneish! English was my subject of choice.

That's the spirit!

No rushing~ Take your time, Chi~
Then it's no surprise that no one ever taught us that word :P oh really? teacher of what exactly? I wanted to be a teacher myself at one point.

Maybe they are high, just not... you know 100% :p depends on what kinda bar you have set for yourself. I am usually satisfied only when I score really high ^.^

Had to reread your message. Indeed, a lapsus on my behalf :P
If she ever finds that out, she'll be quite pissed, I can't even imagine how much :P Conniption? Wow, you just taught me a new word. And that's a good thing. You're a good spontaneous teacher :3

Now you reminded me, I was just recently challenged my LoVe to take an online test that can approximately judge how broad your vocabulary is and "how many words you know, cca." It just got me thinking how much I actually love taking such stuff and seeing my results :P

I really hope soon :P And as promised, when it gets published, you'll get that signed copy ;)

Well, they aren't? I guess it's because I am not really a "manly man - hurr hurr hurr" myself, so I don't recognize when someone is fully manly and when someone is not. I'll have to brush my skills up with that. And I don't know what too gross would be like - so far, everything you wrote seems perfectly balanced, so yay, good job~ <3

EDIT: Aaand, I have to leave now, so... ^.^ wish me luck on my lecture (with not falling asleep, of course)
I agree, editing is one of the worst things there are. I know I edited my book three times - and wanted to do it one more time, but am restraining myself just because I know that I am a perfectionist and that I will never accomplish anything if I only go back and back and edit it a lot of times :P

It was hilarious indeed. My character was useless for the most part - he was one of those Jack of all trades, master of none - except he wasn't a jack of even 10% of all trades. Eh. Poor guy. Now that I think about it, there is one guy like that in my book as well. And I LOVE him greatly. The first character for the book that I made and my favorite character out of the bunch. People (that read it) said that he is 100% me. >.< But he is not. He just loves girls as much as moa.

Awww, that's so cute~ I guess I can think of a lot of reasons why being the only possible romantic interest for all other characters is a good thing :3 never had that happen to me, but still. Now I can't stop thinking about that 30.5 cm height difference between Hana and the large guy :P And yes! Yes, old school Spiderman puns are awesome. I can see why it was the best thing ever~

I guess I do, I'm one of the fastest readers in my crew~ Don't worry about it, there was no point in dragging it out a little longer. Sure, I could have a three page long post describing that scene, because it was so awesome to me, but this is great as well. And considering there will be a lot of other similarly cool scenes, I cannot complain ^.^
The sound of Volgin's watch ticking the day away made Aleks anticipate the message more and more with each second that passed. With a little luck, she didn't come across anyone too troublesome. Unfortunately, he himself did not have much information regarding lower ranking officers of Tambov. Who they had sent to strike a deal was an unknown factor to him. He could only hope that Lady Luck was on Lilith's side. Or a Fox Luck - whatever they believed was their luck charm. "So," Volgin took his glasses off, something he did every time he wanted to get a point clear, "You want to assure no one comes after you in case Nikolai gets killed and that is the only reason you want to help me?" Aleks immediately nodded. Volgin gave him an opportunity to further elaborate his intentions - maybe say how he wanted to help the society or something along those lines. But it was merely for testing purposes, Aleks saw through that mask. It would be completely out of his character to state all of a sudden how he wanted to help merely to be a good Samaritan. People usually say that either when they are completely honest or when they are hiding something. And it was all too easy to tell one from another.

"Yes," Aleks let out, cracking his knuckles, "There is a lot at stake for me here. I have rotten luck, I guess - at the very least I can take it in my own hands." Volgin seemed satisfied with such an explanation, his hands gesturing as much. "Alright then, boy. Tell me, what do you have so far?"

Taking one last sip - Aleks looked out the window and into the busy street. He had nothing. Well, nothing that didn't have to do directly with Lilith. He was walking on thin ice here - he had to prove he could help, but at the same time, giving out too much information was not good.

But... bringing out a thesis was an acceptable course of action. "While I was reading the articles, I thought the fact that hearts were completely missing from the scene, and never found, was weird. Then it hit me," he smirked as he brought it out into the open, "A role-play." The sentence lit up a spark in Volgin's eyes. "A role-play," he repeated after Aleks, "Role-play..."

"It's a little farfetched, I know, but think about it. Maybe there is some kind of an ancient prophecy or a myth that used hearts as a main artifact. Maybe Greek... or Egyptian. If there is such instance in recorded history, then you'd have all grounds to check out all possible crimes similar to the ones here. There is a possibility this person killed more than just two people. And if that is the case, it is more likely that someone saw their face." Just as Aleks finished, Volgin snapped his fingers. "Amazing, boy. I am honestly amazed at your skills. You never disappoint, you know that? You would be able to go far in the force - if only things were different..." A faint smile appeared on his face and it made Aleks feel accomplished. Not because of the compliment, but because this way he would be able to check up on Lilith's history without actually doing any work himself. Now that he planted a bug in his mind, Volgin would surely pursue the thesis all by himself.

"Trust me, Volgin," Aleks confidently smiled, "We will bring this guy in before you know it."
My, my - Lily is one bad-ass kumiho. I just love it. Aleks won't have such an easy time with her after all :3 I guess I could post myself since I have some free time left with nothing to do ^.^
