your just in time SHade, as I was thinking of closing applications soon (due to all experiments being out of their cells and joining together at cell 002 to work together on breaking out)the only thing is: I have slightly changed the number system to keep 3 digits and all numbers.so if you could change your subject number please?anyway, that was all, he is accepted and can be added to the IC right away ^^is what I want to say XDno, just look at the numbers of the member roster and NPC roster and you can find the number system we are using and with that the numbers that have been taken, meaning you can pick a free one, just make sure its a free one.once you have done that you can post right away without further permission asking ^^

Aw man and my number is the hexidecimal translation of the atomic numbers of the composition of corundum XD

Changed
(Sorry it took so long.)

(given)Name: Alexander

age: 25

alias: Gargoyle

subject number: 080

Appearance: Stands at 6'6" and is of broad build. His skin is obviously unusal as it has a luster and perfect smoothness to it, making him feel very much like a sun-warmed statue. Despite feeling like a mineral, the latticework of his skin's alterations flex and give, affording him pliable skin so he will not sustain injuries by bending joints and stretching. The actual skin tone he exhibits a dark shade of gray with a slight blue cast to it, hence his alias. His eyes follow the same coloration, his sclera matching his skin, his iris a couple shades darker, and his pupil still black. After the experiment, his hair changed. Whether a sick joke by the scientists or some oddity, his hair formed into long tendrils and some even formed swept-back horns. The tendrils are malleable like normal hair and simply lend an almost draconic appearance as they drape down his shoulders and shoulder blades. The horns are not sharp and simply sweep back along the curve of his head, curving upward at the very tips, lending him more of an odd appearance. (This is why they called him gargoyle. He looks like a slightly demonic/draconic statue; horns cannot be used as special weapons as they are the same hardness as his body)

Personality: not superstitious at all, tends towards being calm and observant, hides and restrains emotions, introspective, desires a companion but not driven to find one, tends to act like a "ward" against what he perceives as evil

Power('s): Gargoyle Skin-skin is hard as corundum and the lipid layer provides a malleable padding type of armor that will solidify upon contact with air

Sub Traits: More heat and cold tolerance (25 F to 120 F is comfortable to him), virtually unaging (Aging is so slow it is almost negligible), Bleeding is staunched almost instantly as long as his lipid layer can access air (repeat hits to the same area can cause available lipids to run thin enough to not staunch bleeding)

Limitations: Has next to no buoyancy (Still has some due to his body having gases in it, but he has to exert about twice as much effort to stay afloat), fractures of his skin heals slower (In general, takes about 4-8 hours longer to heal major damage), has lowered tactile feel and sense of taste (Can still feel nuances and taste foods, but it is dulled), if he runs low on lipids, he will require increasing amounts of calories to store as new lipids.

Equipment: compound bow (80 pound pull), variety of arrows (signal, incendiary, hunting, explosive), garrote wire, custom body armor, machete, tomahawk, hunting snares

History: Unsurprisingly, he was a survivalist prior to abduction. He would take time each summer to find an extreme area to survive within. The scientists likely picked him due to this innate desire to push his limits. Mostly unknown to him, though he knows he somehow is decent at it, he can write stories and poems almost habitually due to it being his primary hobby before abduction.

Post-abduction, they engineered him to be a soldier used on out of communication missions where he needed to survive, track, and hunt targets and objectives without prior knowledge, real-time guidance, or previous supplies. His missions were slated to be measured in weeks rather than days. As they performed tests, he went along with them calmly, not resigned. He was planning his escape and kept track of where each piece of his test equipment was taken. His intention was to steal his equipment and make his way into the wilderness, where their chances of finding him were relatively small due to his survival skills.

Goal: Systematically hunt and kill the benefactors and leaders of this experiment.

Other: His testing involved sensory deprivation, sleep deprivation, and utter solitude from all other subjects and even scientists. The testers were utterly silent and never even acknowledged his existence beyond the results of the experiments. This led him to lose much of his ability to relate to people and for him to develop slight sociopathy. (Think on the manner of Halo Spartans)

His free time is spent writing poems and stories.

So you plan to not hand out with the rest of the party?

Eh, it was simply an idea. I'll think of something more interesting.

I'm gonna have to restrict you to playing as the natives or the colonists, does not fit in with my overall plan for the RP.Oh and im going to begin working out the OP, since this has attracted enough interest.

How diverse is the intelligent life? Is is a single species like humans or is it two or three competing species vying for more control?

If you want to have a character that's of the native aliens yeah im going to allow it, although people who can be aliens is going to be limited to two people, or else everyone will choose them.

I meant from another planet. Another colonizer

Hanging out with a bunch of chaos worshippers and not worshipping chaos is kind of an issue though. You will not benefit nearly as much from a lot of things and I cannot exactly give you atheist powers. That is disregarding the simple fact that anytime something bad happens there is a decent chance they just sacrifice you as the most worthy sacrifice to the gods and lack a patron to protect you.

Or i am not in Chaos space and instead deal with them as a "neutral" entity

You would be running around with guys gaining power from dark gods. You can be an atheist all you want in this universe but the gods know you exist and you are hanging out with guys who they are directing. Things are unlikely to go well for you.

Atheist doesn't mean denying existence of uber powers, but the character wouldn't see them as gods, just very powerful beings. Insofar as my knowledge of Chaos Gods, that is not a problem for the most part as long as they are recognized.
Alright. I'll think of something as the day goes along. I have a whole lab to do it in

Awesome. Any ideas anyone have for characters yet? Also, the rule where your god is chosen by how you pick your advances is being thrown out the window, during character creation pick your god of choice. Of course the gods do not like being used so if you use it just to power game or something bad things happen.

What about atheists? I have toyed with an idea of an atheist that works to the detriment of the Imperium, but they want to get the truth of the Emperor out. (i.e. he isn't happy with religion and never wanted to be a god. He wanted humans to move from superstition and religion altogether)
I'm interested. I am curious though if you could have a character of an alien species. Perhaps someone else new to colonization
