Part of why I wanted outside fate rather than fatebound. It is the more interesting road since it is less used. (The only time I've ever really encountered it as a core concept was in Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, which I wish took off as a game series since it was really fun)

Anyway, the undying sage sounds like a good idea. By slow regen, what do you mean? Is it like D&D troll regen where they can reattach limbs and heal fast enough not to keel over but not fast enough to ignore the dangers of damage?
Well a full blown lich is way more obvious due to looks. I could think of another power associated with be wrenched from the tapestry of fate. Thats the idea that really interests me is to be outside of fate.

Any ideas?
Awesome, adding it to the tab.
Well, the theme I'm going for is that he is outside the karmic cycle, thus he has no regeneration, but should he be "killed", he will reform again later. (Much like a lich) The Buddhist allergy is flavor that I really liked due to being outside of fate and the karmic cycle. So, should he take injuries that wouldn't kill him but maimed him significantly, he would have to decide whether to stay alive longer or kill himself and risk missing something. It would also open the door to points where he would have to ask a teammate to euthanize him. (To be fair, the he may end up a she if the art fits better)

My other three arts, that may fit better, would be these:

All 3 are equally viable in my opinion as far as me using them. It just takes whether they fit.
I'm thinking of a character that is outside of fate, thus has limited immortality. (No physical needs, can't die permanently, but only heals at normal rate and feels all the pain and misery of injury) I am also thinking of it having a downside of a severe, supernatural allergy to Buddhist relics and items. It would be, after all, outside the karmic cycle. If this power is used, I planned the character to look like a ragged street shaman type:

I'll be working on my CS over tonight, so I may get something posted up tomorrow afternoon, though it could be tomorrow night if I don't fully finish the character.
My character is up and ready for review. She is in my earlier post.
Oh crap, my bad. I'll pull it. It has been a while since my last RP here, sorry.

-Name: Lucretia Myerscough
-Age: 26
-Gender: Female

-Appearance: She is 6'1" tall. When fully equipped, she will have a cloak or coat, wide brimmed hat, and 1-3 harpoons or spears on her. If on land or needing a ranged weapon, she tends to prefer the reliability of a crossbow or bow over any sort of powder weapon.

-Personality: Polite, helpful, opinionated, highly curious, non-spiritual, well rounded and grounded

-Backstory: Despite being born into a family of mid ranking nobles, Lucretia always had an affinity for the outdoors. Luckily, as long as she was ladylike when company was over, her parents were not picky about her desire to explore, hunt, and learn falconry. In fact, it gave her father something to do in his free time as she was their only child. So, while it was all dresses, corsets, and curtsies at the parties, it all became trousers, tunics, bows, birds, and guns whenever she could slip away. With her two contrasting habits, her father and mother decided to get her tutors for all subjects. their reasoning was that she needed to be prepared for anything given her habits. Lucretia didn't complain about the extra work as it gave her the skills and knowledge to keep her own possessions in good shape as well as knowledge of academic areas she would have been denied otherwise. It also made her already impressive literacy better. Due to her capabilities, studies were easy for her to excel within while still offering her chances to keep honing her survival, hunting, and falconry skills.

Once she became an adult, Lucretia was up for marriage. Suitors came and saw the prim and proper side of her, but she never kept them from understanding her real personality. As such, they all tended to lose interest. Political marriage was not on her parents' minds as they were sitting comfortably in their status. As the suitors dwindled, Lucretia convinced her parents to let her leave and become and explorer on the condition that she write back as able to keep them privy of her adventures and to show she was still alive. She agreed immediately and gathered the supplies she needed. From that day, she wandered around, discovering relics, crumbling ruins, odd creatures, and found exotic locales. Until a few years ago, she stuck to the mainland, going to places others feared to tread due to superstitious reasons. Now, she ran out of rumors to explore in the area she operates within and looks for something past the coast. For a few years, Lucretia worked on merchant vessels or on exploratory ships. The dangers of the sea became well known to her, so once she felt experienced enough, Lucretia decided to set out to start or join a crew seeking to move deeper into the sea and find anything interesting.

-Classification: Trapper (mix of Explorer and Head Hunter)

-Specialization: Cook, Animal Handler, Fisher/Hunter

-Other: She keeps an osprey as a pet and is an accomplished falconer. Her free time is generally spent caring for her osprey, fishing, or reading. Lucretia is a speed reader with an eidetic memory. (actual eidetic memory, not photographic memory)

Not exactly sure what you mean by hungry magic. All I can find about that is MTG cards. If it's like a mage that acts with zero repercussions, that should be fine. Just know that humans have absolutely zero "magic" potential and are forced to bend otherworldly elements via materials or complex somatics.

Hungry magic would be something like a magical artifact that does not necessarily do evil things but in the process of actively trying to get used and gain power kills, maims, or traumatizes people and/or destroys physical objects. So, yes, mages acting without repurcussions type of magic
