Kat smiled a bit as she felt Lia hug her back, before she moved away and grabbed a muffin and some juice. Sitting beside Atty, she looked at Lia when she said was making chocolate chip muffins, they sounded so delicious. “Oh I will definitely want some of those.” She smiled a bit as she shook her head a bit at the offer to make something else. “No, this is fine for now. Thanks though.” She said picking at her muffin and eating it. As good as those muffins were, she wasn't finding herself as hungry this morning as usual.
Lia said that they wouldn't be having a lesson today and honestly she was a bit glad. She didn't really feel like trying to do a lesson today. “That's okay, I might practice yesterday's lesson. Honestly, I feel a little weird today, I’m sure if that will miss with things.” Kat could see Lia try to hide a yawn, and she couldn't help but wonder if she had even gotten any sleep last night. If she wasn't worried about bringing up whatever happened with her last night, she would ask.
Kat gave a smile towards Atty when he said he would finish telling her the story from last night of she wanted him to. “I would love that.” She said with a nod, happy he knew she only fell asleep because of how tried she was. She reached across the table and took up another muffin to pick at and started to eat it when Atty said something about outside being cold. Kat nodded a bit looking up at Atty. “Okay, I'll bundle up if we do then.”
She was so used to both of the guys being up before her, the fact that Mitch could have been still asleep hadn't even crossed her mind. Honestly she had thought that maybe he was outside on one of the porches. Or maybe he had to run back to the castle.
Kat gave a small chuckle. “The smell of food is the only reason I get up as early as I do.” Though the sound of wasting a whole day sleeping did seem a bit much for her. She watched Lia set coffee and a muffin down where Mitch usually sat, before chuckling at what Atty said. “Seriously, I’m going to be watching the clock now.” She said before giggling and getting up to get herself some more juice.
It didn't seem like that much longer, before Kat could hear a door upstairs opening, followed by Edgar quacking. She looked at the clock before nudging Atty softly 8:45. “I'm gonna be weirded out if she knows our schedules too.” She whispered to him, before Edgar waddled into the kitchen quacking happily at her. Smiling a bit Kat pulled a piece of muffin off to give to Edgar. Before he waddled to Lia as Mitch walked into the kitchen.

Quack….quack….quack...quack….qua Mitch groaned loudly as he peeked up from the pillow he was laying face down on. It smelt like Lia’s shampoo and was surprising relaxing. Looking on the floor by the bed, he could see the little duck staring impatiently at him. Quack….quack. Mitch groaned. “Come on Edgar go back to bed. Please.” Quack!
“Morning is bad Edgar.” The duck gave him that serious look at almost matched Lia’s before ruffling its feathers at him. Mitch let his head lay back on the pillow. Quack...quack….quack….quack. Mitch looked up to him standing by the door staring full force at it, it's quacking only seeming to get louder. Mitch groaned a bit louder before getting out from under the nice warm covers and opening the door.
The little duckling waddled its butt to the top of the stairs before stopping, looking at Mitch, and quacking a bit. Mitchell mumbled to himself still half asleep, and really annoyed it was only half. Slowly he walked over and picked Edgar up, before walking down the steps with him. He could smell fresh baked muffins and coffee as he got to the end of the steps. It was enough to wake him up enough to know which way the kitchen was after he put Edgar down.
The thought to change out of his sleep pants and sleeveless shirt. Or even brush his messing hair, which was sticking up in some places, never even entered his mind, there was only space for one thought this early. Coffee. He didn't even notice the others looking at him, the slow half dragging his feet steps towards his seat. “Good morning Mitch.” The almost cheerful voice made him flinch a bit as if he had just now realized there was something else in the room with his coffee.
Mitch looked at Kat and grunted to her greeting before mumbling “Morning.” He looked around the room and taking in Atticus and Lia there too. His eyes widened a bit looking around again at the kitchen filled with muffins, before looking at Lia for a minute and mumbling. “Did you make cookies?” Hearing giggle from Kat at his question.
