Chris Donovan
Chris's black '67 Impala SS was riding on Highway 5. It was morning and they had been driving the whole night. But this time it wasn't Chris at the wheel like usual. Since they couldn't find a place to stay for the night they had to keep driving. So somewhere around 11 PM Chris stopped the car and switched places with his sister who drove for the rest of the night as Chris slept on the passenger seat. Initially Chris wanted to drive the whole night but his sister offered to take his place since Chris was doing most of the heavy lifting, keeping them both alive and needed his rest. Chris started to wake up as his sister imidieatly took notice. "Good morning dear brother of mine. Nice to see you've slept so well. Because i'm spent!" Said Lisa as she started yawning. "We really need to find a place to stay, even for a few hours. It'll do good for us both!" Said Chris as he scratched his eyes and blinked fast for 5 times while breathing deeply.
In the distance Chris could see something like a small building with one gas pump near it. Didn't look like a gas station but it definetly attracted Chris's attention. "There! Stop there!" Said Chris patting his sister on her right shoulder. Lisa responded to Chris's request by stopping in front of what looked like somekind of diner. "Okay! Let's see if that pump still has gas in it. The last two we've encountered were empty!" He said with a little concern in his tone, almost as if he was afraid to read what the pump was showing. "YES! This one still has juice in it." He said as he balled his right hand into a fist, grabbed the hose and turned around to his car. In the meantime Lisa got out too and was sitting on the hood of the car, struggling to keep her eyes open as Chris started filling the car with fuel.
"Alright! That should do it! All full." Said Chris as he put the hose back inside the pump and pulled out his revolver. "Come on. Let's see what's inside this diner. Hopefully we'll find something useful." He said while holding the revolver towards the door with Lisa behind him. He approached the dinder's door and opened it with his left hand slowly and with caution. As he took one step inside Chris started aiming the revolver left and right with a concentrated look on his face. "I don't think there's anyone here!" Lisa said from behind Chris. "Yeah! This place is a real mess. Go grab a seat somewhere and get some shuteye. I'll take a look around and see if there's anything useful we can take." Said Chris as he lowered his revolver and Lisa nodded in approval.
