Still waiting on everyone else in the house, Rowena let herself take in the interior of the house a bit more. It reminded her of her own home. A simple three-story house. nothing incredibly grand but nicely decorated. She remembered her room, painted with forget-me-nots and the occasional bumblebee, the large window looking out onto a sweet neighborhood. She remembered that it smelled often of her mother's baking and her step-father's cologne. Now that house was broken, had probably been raided more than once and contained a dead, decomposing body. It made Rowena sigh as she stared out into the room. Though she snapped out of her thoughts when the man from earlier, the one who'd attempted to pet Themistocles, smiled at her. For a minute or so, she didn't know how to react, surprised by the action. She was about to say something but then he was getting up and stumbling slightly, making Rowena wince in sympathy. The position he'd been in didn't exactly look terribly comfortable and she could only sympathize with the hell his body was giving him. About to offer her hands, maybe to help work any kinks or tension out of his neck, Rowena made another attempt to speak, only to have it thwarted again by words she didn't understand.
"Pardon?" She asked, cocking her head and taking a step forward, for maybe she'd heard the man wrong. But no, a minute later he did seem to be clarifying that he'd been saying good morning. The woman smiled, her mood considerably bettered by this little acknowledgment of a complete stranger. As he moved, she watched him do so, her gaze drifting comfortably past his hips and further down. Not bad. Not bad at all.
She looked up quickly as he opened the tuna, the smell not unfamiliar but definitely new compared to the cans of soup and pasta she'd been eating. The woman was hungry, but not hungry enough to ask for food right now, so she just nodded as he said something about it being bright. "That it is, yes. It's a good thing! Sun's shining...perhaps it'll be a good day today. At least a little bit better than the last, yeah?" Rowena said, finding that being optimistic never hurt her. And who knew? She could be right. They could stumble upon a heap of supplies.

Nikki was sitting on the ground outside waiting for the people inside to get their stuff together. She had finished shining her blades and was looking at the mapbook she had grabbed out of a convenient store right after the epidemic had hit. She had forgotten that she even had it until she started to worry about getting into neighborhoods and not being able to get out of them.

Nikki was not bashful about being herself and she got up humming a song she had stuck in her head and started to dance in the street while waiting for the others. She liked to be in a good mood and music always put her in a good mood. She was having fun and when a walker popped out and onto the street she made killing it look graceful as she swung her katana and continued right on dancing.

She remembered dancing with her mom. Her mom had been a beautiful ballerina. She had hoped Nikki would love it like she did. Nikki had loved it but she preffered other kinds of dance and had gotten into dance and gymnastics and martial arts and self defense so much so that she had gotten scholarships to Julliard and had excelled beyond her mother's dreams for her.

When Nikki closed her eyes she could still pretend that it was still real. Now she would just dance for herself. She opened her eyes and just saw a lonely street ahead of her and a group of people behind her. She sighed and smiled as some of them had been watching her with appreciation on their faces.

Walter Pierce

For no logical reasoning, Walter found himself quietly clapping his hands together towards Nikki, who had been dancing on the street. It was a little random, despite how reminiscent it felt, reminiscent of how things had been back at Dana Point. Even as something that the man simply stomached and accepted as reality, the fact that they once had something to protect, something to make them feel safe; it was gone.

Walter found it difficult to conjure up memories of their past life, he himself only able to recount his family and the certain moments in his walk down adolescence. And when he compared the world of old, how broken and ugly it could have been; he somewhat held an appreciation for how beautiful it had become, in the wake of its ending. Nature was reclaiming her earth, and their sins were personified in the monsters they defended themselves from.

"I'm thinking we need more supplies," Walter suggested, rubbing the side of his head. Fatigue still hammered the man's senses, but he would pull himself through. "I'm out of water. And now, we have a baby and a dog to feed. Complicates things."

Whitney Ambrose

short collab with @Solace

When morning came, it meant that it was time to get moving. After finding a basically overturned trailer in the midst of a wooded area, she had climbed inside the large tin structure and closed the door. It was an uncomfortable rest, but it was also the safest. Dusk had been approaching, and that was when Whitney knew that she had to take whatever she could find. And so, she crawled out of the trailer, her body complaining loudly as it retracted from the strange position that it was in as she rested.

Once again, Whitney walked alone. She had been alone for the better portion of a year, and she both loved and hated it. Being alone meant that you only cared and thought for yourself. But being alone also meant that you had to fend for yourself. She had to thank whatever had decided not to get her sick or severely injured. An immobilized human was basically asking to get devoured by those creatures that had plagued the nation.

Whitney continued to walk, heading towards the coast as she readjusted the bag on her back. There had to be non-hostile people somewhere. The only ones she encountered were almost as savage as the walkers themselves, raiding stores and stripping their shelves of every single item. Shaking her head, she found herself near a highway, and the smell of salt water stung her nose. For a moment, she was surprised that she had made it there so quickly; she didn't know how long she had been traveling.

However, as she traveled, she spotted something moving about at a sluggish pace at the edge of the highway. She could basically see the rotting flesh and the crooked limbs of the creature as it turned its head to face her. It was a walker, and from what she can tell, it was alone. Whitney slowly made her way over, knowing that if it was just one of the creatures, she could easily take care of it. Taking down even only one of them meant a huge difference. Yet, as she drew her bat, she heard a deep snarl to her right. She turned her head, her eyes widening slightly as she noticed that more of them had crawled over a hill near the road. And now, they were headed towards her.

"Shit," Whitney cursed under her breath, putting away the bat and sprinting down the highway. She ran as fast as she could, her ragged breaths filling the air as she did not stop. Eventually, she had reached a boarded up house, and she swore that she saw a campfire. Were there really people there?

"There are walkers down the road!" she cried as loud as she could as she ran closer. The best she could do was warn them.

Walter blinked in the moment of time, his head tilting towards the stranger emerging from the road. "Hey," he looked along the members of their group that was around, pointing towards the woman as she shouted that there were walkers approaching. Without much thought, he ran towards her, pulling the crowbar from his side.

"Walkers, you said?" Walter asked as he stopped where the woman was.

Whitney was relieved to see that someone had approached her. She thought that they would run away or attack her-- people were too on the edge, these days. "Yes," she gasped. "They're not far away from here. We have to hurry!"

Nikki heard the girl who had come running and yelling about walkers coming. She sprinted to the house and started yelling, "EVERYONE OUT! THE HORDE IS COMING!" She searched for the young mother and baby. She steered them towards the front and next to Ethan. "Get them out of here NOW!" Nikki ran towards the back to where Walter and the girl were. People were pouring out of the house hurriedly.

"We need to slow the walkers down. Let's push the vehicles across the road. Get anything we can use to block them!" She directed a couple of people towards the broken branches just off the road. Nikki saw a few old tires off of the side of the road and staggered them on the other side of the cars along side garbage cans and other things that would be easy for tripping walkers. A couple of the older kids brought over some sturdy fencing that might be able to help to impale walkers that tripped into it and put it on the other side of the tires. Nikki watched as many of the others started to help block the road while the slower or more helpless moved on with the group while the others did what they could to lessen the impact when the horde caught up to them. There were spears that they stuck out of the windows of the vehicles as well. They blocked as much as they could. The wooded tree line on both sides of the road was going to be the biggest hindrance for the horde.

Nikki signalled for everyone to be quiet. She heard it, they were coming, she looked to Walter and the others that she knew. "Let's haul ass out of here!" Nikki and the others headed towards the main group. She hung back just to make sure they all got out of there. The adrenaline was pumping so hard she didn't even notice the growling in her stomach.

Kat looked up as one of the men came into the room. Jason? Was that his name? He had kind eyes but the movement and stance of a soldier. Marine? Army Reserve? Either way it was no surprise he had survived this long. The strong tended to do that, especially when the weak were left to fend for themselves.
She flinched as his hand came toward her out of reflex, but relaxed when she saw he was offering her food. He apologized for poking around but she only shrugged. "No law against it," she commented as she took the food. She paused a moment before taking it, looking at him as both of their hands were on the packages of food. "Thanks. Thank you," she added, deciding that a simple 'thanks' sounded flippant and rude. "I... I really appreciate it."

Gratitude was a strange feeling for her, mostly because not many people had done things for her without wanting something in return. She would probably find out the cost of this favor later, but since she had not eaten anything more than a couple of crackers and a piece of jerky in nearly three days she wasn't about to complain or reject it. Whatever the price was, she would pay it.

She pushed those thoughts from her mind. Turning, she picked up Grace just as one of the women in the group started screaming that the horde was coming.
Grabbing her bag and making sure Jason was behind her, Kat went outside to face the others in the group. Had Ethan even told them he had invited her and Grace to come along with them? Would they have an issue with the two newcomers?
"Ethan said we could come," Kat said tensely. She hadn't missed the annoyed look one of the men had given her child, and she wasn't going to let him get by with it either. If he tried anything she would snap his fingers.

Grace, not knowing what was happening but knowing that people were upset and tense, started to whimper worriedly. Kat held Grace close, talking to her gently and stroking her back to calm her. "It's alright baby girl. Everything is okay."
She glanced at Ethan, wondering what he was thinking. Did he feel a father's natural instinct to protect his child? Did he regret saying they could come now that Grace was on the verge of crying?
Her eyes also moved to Jason. He didn't seem like a follower type, but Ethan seemed to be the leader of this group. It didn't make sense to her.
"Where do we go?" Kat asked, looking at both men to see which would answer.

" Easy there Clara. We don't know if they're there or not. All we can do is wish for the best case scenario. Hopefully we're right and they're dead. If not well then we can only hope that they're infected.. Haru said when he noticed the girl shift. The guy knew her to well. If they were on their own then this thing would have been solved already. Another shift of her getting up caused a stern look." We're not alone anymore. Besides it won't hurt to ask the kid were she is and who she is with. Be nice when you ask girly."

The car starting up caused the darker half to glare at the leader. It seemed to the girl that both young men wanted to go for a rescue making her shift to the left, towards the other side of the car. A thumping on the car 's hood would easily tell both guys the teenager was hiding something. This made Haru sigh as he banged on the top as if telling her to come inside while they were going down the road. The whirling of the back window coming down just confirm the thought.

The darker half worked her way inside, a glare still on her face." This is a horrible idea. We don't know where she is let alone if she is alone. This could be an ambush Alex. If we're really doing this I want the handgun."

" No. We're not letting you have a gun let alone be armed anymore. I want your knives to stay inside the car at all times. If Vicent and Raven are alive we're simply not taking them. Besides keep in mind they are your half siblings Clara. Alex we need to ask the girl were she is."

" Really? Borderline Personality Disorder can cause people to be violent. At least the major cases which they have. The reason I know is because Erin had it before this bloody outbreak. Let me tell you three people inside a house with the same disorder is the same description as Hell on Earth. Vicent and Raven are twins and the same age as me. They are from my dad's affiar. Mom just decided to keep them as her own." The darker half said as she worked her way back up to the car roof once more.

" Camyllia my name is Haru. I'm a friend of Alex's. We need to know where you are so we can come and get you. We'll have someone up on the roof. Her name is Clara right now. So if you see her wave like crazy."

Alex glanced at Rowena, picking at the canned fish with his thumb and index finger. "Better," Alex mumbled, already putting piece after piece of tuna in his mouth. He ate like a hobo. Too fast, too much, and with little regards for the scraps that fell onto his torn, grey suit. He'd been so eager to dress for success before this outbreak crushed his dreams, making sure to keep anything from staining his father's precious suit. But now? Who had the time to care about appearances. The suit was snug and warm. Tears along the collar and bottom edge, stains, and a few missing buttons didn't detract from that. If anything, the tear along his right side made it easier to access his handgun. "Better is optimistic, no?" He quipped with his mouth half-full. "It is a surprise that you are not traumatized, being alone with dog for so long-" Before Rowena had a chance to speak, Alex heard shouting coming from outside. The wails shattered his composure, and he dropped what little remained of his canned tuna, turning towards the front door. The blood in his legs turned to cement for a moment. Walkers? Again? Was it the same horde? Dammit, he didn't have time to go over all of this in his head, but of course, it's not like he could stop himself from going over all the gruesome possibilities that could follow. "Morto" He rasped, coughing up a small chunk of chewed Tuna.

"Thanks. Thank you," "I... I really appreciate it."

He made an attempt at a small smile when she thanked him, but it turned into him blinking a few times before rubbing the back of his head. A little uncomfortable... as it has been a while since someone said thank you to him. The last few times where it was warranted...it didn't turn out as well. But this time... he knew it was genuine, it felt, Refreshing. Memories of his days in Iraq, handing out food to a group of people he was ordered to protect. Reminding him one of the reasons he joined the military.

But before he could say anything a scream came from outside. He couldn't hear what was said, but as they moved to the front, Kat surprising him with her speed of getting in front of him. He held his FN Scar in both hands as he made his way just behind her to the front of the house. Glancing around he saw Walter with yet another girl. Jason didn't believe in coincidences, and with so many people meeting strangers within such a short time was strange indeed. Nikki had some of the survivors of the original group throwing debris in the way, she already managed to do quite a few things, but the Walkers were closer now because of it.

"Where do we go?" Kat asked, looking at both Ethan and he for answers. He looked at Ethan and said, "We stick with the plan Ethan said last night. Continue south till San Clemente. We will figure out something later." Meaning he will inform them of the potential safe place they could go. The Aircraft Carrier.

He then moved away and closer to Nikki "Nikki! Good Idea, but it's only going to hold them for a moment, They will move around it soon enough." he said motioning to the trees. Looking back to Ethan "Ethan! Take your group and just Go! I'll distract them while you all get a good head start. Ill catch up." He then went to a car that had it's trunk open. Shifting his FN SCAR behind him as it hung on it's strap he pulled out a rusted lug breaker bar, intending to make some noise to draw the horde's attention. If he was quick enough he would move around cars and buildings to try and slow them down by forcing them into a Z pattern. The idea was of course Extremely stupid and dangerous. But he survived Salt lake city doing a similar thing.

The woman watched the man eat for a moment or two before turning away to look towards the sounds coming from the other rooms. Must've been the mother getting her child together. She hadn't actually seen the mother's face, the shadows of the house obscuring her view earlier. The soldier's face though, she had seen. He was a handsome man but not her type. She liked them a little looser around the edges. Preferably just about unravelling at the seams. A furry mass nudged itself against her leg and she looked down to find Themistocles rubbing his head against her side, nearly shifting her footing. Chuckling she stroked him behind the ears, glancing up as the man spoke again. Rowena's brow creased ever so slightly as she was about respond when a young woman opened the door and started screaming about walkers. Rowena's face absolutely lit up. The surge of adrenalin was almost instantaneous. Finally she would have something to do. But just as she realized this, picking up her pipe, it dawned on her that all she had was well, the pipe. The pipe and a dog. Themistocles could definitely topple a walker or three but she did not allow him to bite unless she gave a specific command. And she would not be giving that command, not wanting him to become infected. She didn't know whether animals could become walkers or not but she was not risking it.
All but vibrating with excitement, she followed the woman outside quickly, helping out where she could, the hype adding to her strength, giving some that she wouldn't have otherwise had. Her nails dug into her palm as she tried to contain herself, focusing her new-found energy into helping out. She looked for Ethan quickly when all that could be done was done and made her way over. "Hey there. So, do you mind if I create a distraction when they get close? Really loud, drive them away sort of distraction? It's really no trouble, I'd love to do it. I'm aching to stretch my legs anyway. I'll lead them away and kill them off while you all fight here. I'll come back as soon as possible," Rowena said, eyes shining. She waited for Ethan to give her a response before nodding and moving on, looking around. After a minute she recognized the mother, holding her child close and trying to soothe her. Rowena swallowed as she seemed to be addressing her, assuming she'd have a problem with the child. The child was hardly on Rowena's mind when her mother had cheekbones like that. Rowena approached with caution, the way one would a paranoid injured deer, calming herself down if only for this situation. She was fully aware that the young woman was talking to the two men but somehow it didn't bother her at all. She seemed to be waiting on an answer so Rowena simply spoke during the pause. Gently, she reached out to touch her fingertips to the woman's shoulder, just to get her attention, the touch non-threatening before it was retracted. "Ah, I know this will come off strange but I think you're fucking gorgeous," she said bluntly before glancing at Ethan then the soldier and back to the mother. "I'm assuming gentlemen are your thing, handsome and strong as they are, but if you ever feel like batting for the same team let me know, yeah?" Rowena offered a charming smile, one to the mother then to the child. "Oh but that fantastic bone structure isn't the only reason I came over. I was wondering if you'd want Themistocles to play your bodyguard while this thing goes down. He's quite useful," Rowena said, patting the animal's head, the dog looking up happily, tongue lolling out of his mouth.

Chris Donovan

Chris's black '67 Impala SS was riding on Highway 5. It was morning and they had been driving the whole night. But this time it wasn't Chris at the wheel like usual. Since they couldn't find a place to stay for the night they had to keep driving. So somewhere around 11 PM Chris stopped the car and switched places with his sister who drove for the rest of the night as Chris slept on the passenger seat. Initially Chris wanted to drive the whole night but his sister offered to take his place since Chris was doing most of the heavy lifting, keeping them both alive and needed his rest. Chris started to wake up as his sister imidieatly took notice. "Good morning dear brother of mine. Nice to see you've slept so well. Because i'm spent!" Said Lisa as she started yawning. "We really need to find a place to stay, even for a few hours. It'll do good for us both!" Said Chris as he scratched his eyes and blinked fast for 5 times while breathing deeply.

In the distance Chris could see something like a small building with one gas pump near it. Didn't look like a gas station but it definetly attracted Chris's attention. "There! Stop there!" Said Chris patting his sister on her right shoulder. Lisa responded to Chris's request by stopping in front of what looked like somekind of diner. "Okay! Let's see if that pump still has gas in it. The last two we've encountered were empty!" He said with a little concern in his tone, almost as if he was afraid to read what the pump was showing. "YES! This one still has juice in it." He said as he balled his right hand into a fist, grabbed the hose and turned around to his car. In the meantime Lisa got out too and was sitting on the hood of the car, struggling to keep her eyes open as Chris started filling the car with fuel.

"Alright! That should do it! All full." Said Chris as he put the hose back inside the pump and pulled out his revolver. "Come on. Let's see what's inside this diner. Hopefully we'll find something useful." He said while holding the revolver towards the door with Lisa behind him. He approached the dinder's door and opened it with his left hand slowly and with caution. As he took one step inside Chris started aiming the revolver left and right with a concentrated look on his face. "I don't think there's anyone here!" Lisa said from behind Chris. "Yeah! This place is a real mess. Go grab a seat somewhere and get some shuteye. I'll take a look around and see if there's anything useful we can take." Said Chris as he lowered his revolver and Lisa nodded in approval.

Alex rushed outside, but not before grabbing his pack and readying his pistol for a confrontation. Outside, everyone was already prepared from the oncoming horde, and a new woman had shown her face. Was she the one yelling to warn them? It didn't matter much, the walkers were already on the horizon and closing the distance fast. They had to react quickly. Instead of turning to Ethan for guidance however, Alex made his way over the Krystal's truck across the street, and held one hand out on front of her face, a little lost for words. "Ehm," He said, snapping his fingers as if to ignite his memory, "Keys! Give me the keys, little girl!" Krystal was reluctant as first, but ultimately ignored Alex's demand, hopped off of her truck, and headed towards the Driver's side door in a hurry, opening it. Alex scoffed at her and turned to the rest of the group, specifically Walter, Nikki, and the newcomer, Whitney. "Why is no one in truck?" He exclaimed from the opposite side of the street, holding his pistol low and to his side. He then turned towards where Ethan, Jason, Rowena and Kat stood. Ethan hadn't given any orders yet. That simply wouldn't do! "Come! Women and children, in the truck!"

The teenage huntress's truck could fit a considerable chunk of their group inside of it. 6 maybe 7 or 8 people, depending on how loaded the back was with supplies. Alex slammed the window of the truck anxiously and gestured towards it with head head, shouting 'Eh pa' angrily. "There's no time to be standing around!"

Jason said, "Nikki! Good Idea, but it's only going to hold them for a moment, They will move around it soon enough." he said motioning to the trees.

"I know but with this many people every second counts. Do you have some other plan?"

She happened to see Tex pointing at the truck. Nikki quickly ushered the others into the truck. Nikki didn't know all of them or their names. She remembered most of them from Dana Point though. Most of them knew her by name even if they knew nothing else about her. She jumped up onto the truck and looked at the marine.

Nikki turned and asked Jason, "Well? What's your plan?"

It soon became incredibly apparent that this was not the time for conversation. The screams of people telling them to hurry up getting Rowena to snap back into a mindset that would end in her aiding the group rather than being a hindrance, waiting for people answer. Gingerly, she made her way to the back of the truck, Themistocles at her side. Gently but quickly she hoisted his bottom half up as much as she could, grunting under his weight as the dog pushed off of her into the truck. He seemed confused and scared but was reassured with a stroke of the woman's hand along his flank and muzzle. "I'll be back for you sweetheart. You just stay here and protect, yeah?" She gripped the thick fur, eyes looking over the animal's as she gave the command again. "Stay. Protect," she said tightly before letting go, the dog seeming to understand, all anxiety gone from his posture. He stood and made his way over to the closest person to him and sat at their feet. Rowena smiled, proud of her boy. She slapped the side of the truck twice after throwing the pipe in, fully aware of the noise it'd cause. The woman let her eyes drift over the people in the truck. "I'll catch up later on," she said to whomever might've been listening.
Inhaling deeply Rowena closed her eyes for a brief moment, gathering strength before putting four fingers in her mouth and blowing. The whistle was painfully loud, long, sharp and effectively attention-grabbing. Already she saw dead heads turning, groaning in interest. Grinning, Rowena pulled her sleeves up, looking around for something sharp. These things liked to eat flesh, right? Maybe they'd be able to smell the blood. So after a short few seconds, she located what must've been part of a windowpane at some point, or perhaps a car's windshield. Either way it was sharp and that was all that she cared about. Without much care, the woman pressed the glass to her right forearm, dragging it for a bit before dropping it and crushing it under her boot. She kept walking backwards as she felt liquid drip down her arm, pooling just a tiny bit in her palm. Raising the hand she swiped it across her cheek, spreading the smell. Just in case. This should be more than enough to detain at least some of the walkers. About twenty or more were very interested, heading her way. But she figured that the group needed more time so she swallowed, opening her mouth to sing. Yelling profanities would make her feel childish. "We've waited so damn long, we're sick and tired. I won't leave any doubt or stone unturned. I've got a collar full of chemistry from your company. So maybe tonight I'll be the libertine," she sang, already moving backwards down a different street. She knew that if she could run for long enough she could take a detour to the sewers, where her guns were. If she didn't lose the walkers by then she'd simply slip back inside and reemerge with the weapons. Everything was planned out fairly well but depended on how long she'd last physically. But the time to run had finally come, walkers a little too close for comfort. Rowena just laughed loudly, starting down the road with those horrible things on her tail and her boots rapidly crunching against any debris that might've been on the road, thinking of what tune she'd grace them with next.

It was obvious the girl was young. Every time she spoke an image of Sadie and Micky flashed in Alex's mind. He couldn't help but want to help her, but he wasn't going to rush in like an idiot. Pushing the button on his walkie, [color=cyan]"No Camyllia. We will come to you. What I want you to do is find a place to hide. If you can get to a window that has footing right under it that is best. Just stay out of sight, and we will be there soon." Alex reached for the map in the glove box and searched as fast as he could for Del Gado. It sounded familiar and Alex was berating himself for not studying the maps of the surrounding area. He quickly found a street by that name and thank goodness it was close.

"Haru. When we get to the street I want you to take the drivers spot. I'm gonna hop out and find a place to snipe from. I'll wait on your signal for shooting. Try and figure out what building they are in." Poking his head out his window Alex said, "You get all that Clara?" Alex drove as quick as he could without making it hard for Clara to hold on. When they got to the street Alex could see a house that would be perfect for a perch. He also saw a man sitting outside of a building farther down the road. It seemed as if he was napping. "Alright. Take the wheel Haru. I'm gonna climb that house there." He said while pointing to a building with stairs on the outside. Grabbing his walkie again and speaking softly, "Camy. Stay quiet. We are here. If you hear gunshots stay down and out of the way. Only come out if you hear someone from my group. Got it?" When he received conformation Alex ran over to the building and climbed the stairs to the top. Most trees in the area had fallen and he had a clear line of sight to the building he hoped Camyllia was in.

Camyllia doing what the man says was quick to find a cabinet and climb in with Blitz coming in after her and laying on her closing the doors. She hugs the dog and listens to the footsteps and drunk laughter then a woman's muffled screams came from across the hall. Camyllia lost it and started to sob. Blitz growled scooting closer to the girl

"Oi! I'm goin' outside ta take a piss don' kill the lady before I had my turn!"

Door slamming shut came after that. The scream no longer muffled and the woman's pleas to stop could be heard.

"Shut the fuck up ya bitten bitch!" Camyllia shook her head trying to calm down. Did she hear him right? Is the woman bitten? Opening the cabinet door Camyllia crept slowly towards the door and opens it. Finally, she was able to get the full view of the man and the woman. Camyllia wanted to scream because she saw the bite's on the woman's arm and hand no one deserves this kind of death. Coming to that conclusion, Camyllia looks at Blitz knowing she had to do something. Her uncle said never play hero because she would get killed but then she thinks she'd want the same if she was in the situation. She has no weapon they're all hidden in the closet downstairs but she has one more option. Camyllia looks at Blitz who tilts her head," Can ya kill quietly?" Camyllia asked more to herself if anything. She sighs and opens the door showing the man pointing at him,"Kill," She whispers. Blitz charges forward jumping on the man grabbing his neck in her jaws the man lets out a gurgled shout moving off the woman. Blitz hoped off him before attacking him again the man letting out another gurgled scream and Camyllia stalks from one room to the next keeping her eyes off of the bloody scene. She stops by the woman and gasps when she see she is one of the women who helped cook at Dana Point and her uncle's old lover before he died.

"Camyllia?"

"H-hi Lane," Camyllia said tears stinging her eyes. Lane and her uncle had a thing when the apocalypse started when her uncle was alive. She was very pretty before she went into the depression after her uncle's death bright red hair, grey eyes and fiery personality. Now she looks dead and tired.

"It's Lane sweetie," Lane whispers.

"I know..I-"

"Sh, dear..c-can you do me a favour? Don't let m-me turn? Please?" Lane said Camyllia covered her mouth with her hands.

"I don' have a weapon though," She sobs.

"H-he does," Lane said Camyllia already knew who she was talking about and made her way over to the corpse of the man who as raping Lane. She saw a large military tactical machete. She bends down to grab it when another mans voice called up,"Randal! Ya donnne man?" He slurred.

Camyllia looks at Lane before talking deepening her voice," Uh, Nah man jus' takin' a piss!" She yells back in her best boy voice she could manage.

It was quiet a moment before a response came,"Man did ssshe kick yer balls in?"

Camyllia was panicking what does she do!

Ethan Blackldge

As Ethan stood against the car, everyone slowly started to come out of the house, he watched Nikki come out first, followed by a few other members of the Dana Point group, then Walter. He smiled as he watched Nikki sing and Walter join in with her, remembering when they thought they were safe in Dana Point. Walter started thinking out loud saying that he ran out of water and they needed to get some supplies desperately, Ethan agreed with him and started rummaging in his rucksack for his bottle of water to let Walter have some and anybody he needed some as well.

Before Ethan could give out the water, someone started screaming from up the road. How many people are on this bloody road?! Ethan thought to himself as he looked up to see a woman rushing over to them. It was Walter who replied first to her as it started to sink in what was happening. Nikki ran into the house warning everyone with what was happening, as people started to move into action. Nikki came up with an idea about blocking them but Jason was right, it would have took too much effort, and would have only saved them a few seconds. โ€œJasonโ€™s right, all we can do is try and put as much distance between us and them. Thereโ€™s no winning this fight if we stay!โ€ He turned to Jason then continued, "I donโ€™t know how effective a diversion you can make, but weโ€™ll appreciate anything.โ€ As soon as Jason had ran off the new girl came over to him, wanting to create a diversion as well. โ€œJasonโ€™s already gone making one, help him!โ€ Ethan shouted as he ran into the house getting everything out as quickly as possible.

Straight after everyone was out of the house, Alex had found the girl who theyโ€™d met the day before with a working car. He started to usher people in it. โ€œKat get in the car now! Thatโ€™s gunna be the only working car on this road so only people who need to be in there, obviously not everyoneโ€™s going to fit. Get Lauren into the car, sheโ€™s still not okay!โ€ Ethan put out his hand to Kat, hoping sheโ€™d get in the car, he wasnโ€™t going to let anything happen to either of them. โ€œAlex as soon as the cars full get them out of here! Iโ€™ll stay behind.โ€

Powerlines laid upon the ground unused since the outbreak. Lawns had grown out of control as if to hide the undead from the sights of the living. Concret sidewalks were worn down from content walkers activity. Weeds and grass peeked out from their hiding places on the sidewalks as well. As if mother nature was telling everyone she was large and in charge now. Some of the homes was crumbled around abandoned cars and if one looked closely they could see patches of rust upon them. This was at least what the young woman could see from the hood of the car.

It wasn't surprising that the kid didn't know where she was. Most likely due to escaping walkers or running away from scavengers. There seemed to be a crash on the walkie though Clara could quite comfirm it. Which could mean multiple things. Two of which could be the worse cases they could ever have. The surprise was when the little girl mentioned people being drunk and the place she was at. Which meant they would have to make fast and quietly. Alex's voice seemed to sound somewhat in a panicked state along with something shuffling.

" You want me to do what! Come on man you can't be serious! I'm used to the crazy ideas coming out of Clara's mouth and usually it's her getting hurt. But Alex saying those things is a total surprise! Is she starting to rub off on you?"

" Find the girl. But don't expect me to not kill anyone in my way. I am the Hyde personality after all. That and I haven't killed anyone in a very long while." The darker half mentioned as she tried to hang on. The road wasn't easy to drive on, at least from the looks of it, though Alex seemed to be trying to slow down just enough to help. Right now Calmyilla was the only one that mattered. If the people was drunk then this wouldn't be good.

" I see where the whole BPD went. Just be careful. I don't want walkers coming towards me. I'm too cute to die today. Plus my dream girl is finally going out with me." Haru said as he seemed to shift to get ready. Just as Alex said off the young man went. Once he found a place to hide he he adds thumping as if something getting off the hood. He let out a muffled yelp as soon as the young Irish woman landed on the hood.

The girl glared at the young Japanese teenager as she slowly moved off. They were just far enough away from the scene that no one had spotted them. At least not yet anyway. Clara moved towards the back of the building working towards were they assumed was the girl's hiding place. Clattering of bottles caused them to stop, waiting to see what was going to happen. After a few minutes they continued forward only to be greeted with a gap between buildings. The darker half couldn't get past without getting caught and the worse part was they all looked to be carrying guns. Hence why the teenager agreed with gun control to a point.

" Alex we're kinda pinned here. It looks like they're carrying guns so I'm going to get their attention. When I duck that's your cue to shot them. One, two, and here I go." Clara moved out getting spotted by one of the guys. All guns focused on her as she moved out towards the open with her have held high. Something white in one hand made on of them chuckle." I'm hopping we can do this the easy way. But looks like it may not go that way. Hope you guys survive after this." With this she ducked behind a barrel getting clipped clipped the shoulder on the way down.
