Or you climax the whole time and end up really wiped out afterwards, but still satisfied. The final battle scenes were awesome yet short, I would've liked it better if they just gave us a small taste for each of the battles before the final one, instead of blue balling the audience completely.
It's of course, a matter of opinion. To each their own. I thought it worked well the way it was.

Name - Kor Gunnar, the Emerald Angel
Age - Visually about twenty-four, but has been alive for almost a century
Sector - 2682
Homeworld - Thanagar
Personality - Kor is Stalwart and knightly, if slightly militaristic. He polices his sector with a fervor that has gained him some renown inside the corps within the short time he has been a member. He has a strong sense of honour and duty, but can sometimes be a stickler when it comes to bending the rules.
Experience - 10 months of service in the Corps, and several decades of service in the Thanagarian military.
Constructs -
Hardlight wings: The signature construct for which Kor gained his moniker, these wings are mostly vestigial. This construct passively activates when Kor flies. Though, of course, Kor doesn't need them to fly, he finds that it helps him to steady himself, due to his Thanagarian Nth-Metal military training.
Emerald Angel Armour: A suit of full hardlight plate-armour. (Basically an angelic-looking version of Allan Scott's armour in the Kingdom Come GN.) This Construct is always active (at least in combat) and allows Kor to forego less direct forms of hardlight defense that would require more focus, I.E. barriers and walls. This is extremely effective due to his up-close fighting style.
Hardlight Bastard Sword: Kor's weapon of choice is a large, two-handed hardlight blade. The sword is almost as tall as Kor, and is very ornate, complete with a winged hilt-guard and an inscription of the Green Lantern Oath at the base of the blade.
Emerald Fire: A tricky construct to maintain, Emerald Fire has been used by many lanterns before, and is quite useful in situations where a controlled flame would be handy. Kor usually uses it to coat his blade or armour, but can summon it offensively to burn enemies, weaken barriers, cripple ships, etc. The Emerald Fire also works quite well as a means to intimidate lesser-minded would-be enemies, and works well to compliment Kor's angelic visage.
The Roc: A giant hardlight bird construct, modeled after a large bird of prey on Thanagar. The Roc is basically a massice, flying golem. Usually only used to transport civilians safely, or as an anti-ship weapon.
Former Occupation - Thanagarian Soldier/Special operative
Alien Power -
Kor's Thanagarian Physiology allow him several advantages over some lesser races, such as,
Superhuman Endurance/Durability
Superhuman Strength
Superhumanly keen sight
Appearance - A lot like this but with wing constructs instead of a cape.
BRIEF Bio -
Notes - Kor's relationship with the Thanagarian government is shaky. As a member of the Green Lantern Corps, Kor is politically opposed to his people's imperialistic military expansion. Tensions are brewing, and Kor knows that he may have to act directly against his homeworld's government soon on behalf of the Lanterns. This doesn't sit well with him, and he finds himself conflicted.
Obviously still a work in progress, but I'll finish it soon.
