Oh important question, what kind of time scales are we dealing with? how long ago was the stuff in the backstory.@Polybius
@Lucidnonsense@Queentze
So, our Gods all have nearly the same Realm. Perhaps it is the same, if you catch my drift.

I think that could be doable, they are probably at least connected.
Alright I am making a nation, a transalien foil to the Golgothans, who fought with the outer alliance against the Golgothans. Howevery, they also are believed to have aided in the fall of the empire and are still recovering after the war, While high tech, much of the infrastucture of the civilization is damaged or disconnected.

The Amalgamate Dominion, still deciding on the name, has a complicated relationship to the peacekeepers.
I wonder if we are all related, could be interesting to explore in the roleplay.

Name:
Nous, The Librarian

Appearance:
Depends on the culture, tends to appear as something containing knowledge, such as a book. Rarely takes a humanoid form, and when it does, it tends to borrow the form of one of its followers.
Domains:
Mind, Soul, Magic, Technology, Information.

Realm:
The Library, a vast realm, it has both physical and spiritual components, but very few have seen its physical form. those who mentally enter the library describe it as unending bookshelfs, strange creatures roam the halls, most of the books are in another language. Those who can translate these books into new languages are rewarded. Some creatures spent their entire lives in the library, feuding over organizational systems.

Personality:
Nous considers the other gods as brash and irresponsible, it prefers the company of mortals over gods (with a few exceptions),

Demeanor:
Most of those that interact with Nous are curious or knowledgeable, those that interact with it usually see layed out before them vast amounts of information that they are not quite able to make out, further driving curiosity.

Favored Subjects:
Its agents are many, They aren't necessarily favored, but they have studied the archives of the library and gained some of Nous wisdom and soul. Most of its subjects are mystics and scholars.

I'll quote the GM before I go any further with this...

<Snipped quote by Masaki Haruna>
Given that the use of ki, ESP, chakra, et cetera, are all considered to fall under the 'Faith' (a.k.a. the settings 'Good' power source) rather than being affiliated with demonic forces, I don't see any logical reason why Christian/Jewish mysticism would be viewed as evil in this setting. In a sense, @Masaki Haruna has a similar concept going on here to my own project -- the idea that the spiritual powers from various faiths are all ultimately deriving from the same source of good. I'll let them correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm fairly sure that's what they were going for.

Hrmm a Singularitarian character could be interesting, believing that god is some kind of AI that figured out how to send messages into the past to guide humanity to bring about the conditions of its creation, believing Christ was a cyborg, and that Heaven will be online. or something. Plenty of parallels. Or someone who believes that The universe is a simulation, and that God is the Programmer.
Is mysticism considered sinful? or good? like Kabbalah and speaking in tongues. I have some interest in playing some kind of christian mystic somewhat detached from the world mentally.
I think I might be interested, what would angels be? or do we have some leeway.
Considering playing a nation on bad terms with many other species ever since the problems with the Golgatha, a highly technoprogressive nation, that long ago embraced cybernetics as a way of life. And are conflicted on who they should ally themselves with. The other nations probably don't like them either.

They could be an interesting Foil to the Golgotha in terms of philosophy, though I don't know the Golgathan philosophy yet
I might play a nation who has caused controversy with its technology, Having been using cybernetics and genetic engineering for a long long time. And generally prefer it over terraforming, adapt to the environment, rather than change the environment. I imagine, for them. many within the nation would probably consider banning someone based on genetic engineering or cybernetics to be something akin to racism.
