Appearance - Echani typically have fairly pale skin, and Morai is no exception. With extensive time on starships extenuating this, she's lucky the cult isn't based on a desert planet. Her long hair is kept in a ponytail when expecting combat, and is the normal white Echani are known for. Like many Echani she has striking silver eyes, a contrast to her otherwise soft features. While quite tall at 188cm, she is somehow the opposite of imposing and seems to project a warm atmosphere. While they should have many scars, most are at best tiny white blotches- a small benefit of knowing the healing arts. A few, however, remain on her lower back and right leg for no discernible reason beyond perhaps(?) cosmetic choice.
Apparel - While a grey Jedi who has split with the order, Tesh has found no need to change her clothing. She wears tan robes, complete with loose white pants and black boots. In most circumstances, she also wears a greyish white cloak. Because of personal philosophy and a desire for freedom of movement, she wears no armor(hidden or otherwise).
Lightsaber(s) - None. During her years as a Jedi Knight, she used a standard white-green lightsaber.
Equipment - Robes, Cloak, Utility Belt, Breather, Encrypted Comlink, Local Rations, Breather, Personal Data Slate, Grapple hook
Force Powers - Fundamental Force Abilities Mastery Battle Meditation- Master -Consume Essence(Tesh can give the energy to herself or allies via meditation. Her variant draws on the whole emotional spectrum.) Force Healing- Master Force Plague- Expert Tutaminis- Intermediate Force Barrier- Intermediate Force Empathy- Beginner(Tesh does not intentionally use this ability, but has developed it unknowingly over time)
Known Lightsaber Forms - (Tash was never a duelist, and only really exhibited talent for Soresu. She has not used a lightsaber in quite a long time, so her skill level is rusty and generally much lower than it is stated to be. Dueling other Jedi in a straight fight is an unintelligent plan as such) Form I, Shii-Cho- Master(Rusty) Form III, Soresu- Advanced(Rusty)
Skills - Master of Echani Art: To the Echani, their martial arts were a form of communication between members of the family and society. In that way it is art- and if so, Tesh is a renaissance woman. She understands all forms, excelling in every one. Honed with intense training and constant emphasis on the martial arts, her physique has reached its peak in the (waning)prime of her life. Her skill, physical strength, and echani dexterity alone make her a monster in physical combat, and she is more than willing to use the force to supplement that. To witness her hand to hand combat is to witness elegance and form manifest.
Meditation Expert: Both before and after leaving the order, Morai focused heavily on the spiritual side of the force. She makes use of many meditations and trances(force based and otherwise) on a daily basis.
Wisdom: A veteran of from the war against the Sith and a experienced Jedi(who took advantage of the Jedi archives as much as possible), she tends to be a good adviser on most any matter.
Flaws - No weapons: Seeing them as a compromise of her more pacifist leanings, Morai does not make use of weaponry. To her, even the vaunted lightsaber is a clumsy thing in the face of the Force.
Pacifist: Morai's personal philosophy does not necessarily oppose killing others when necessary. But to genuinely spend a life to affect change is a privilege- or better put from her view, a luxury. She tolerates "allies" taking the easy route and killing others, but she likes to serve as an example. She tries not to indulge in this "luxury" just like any other. However, a desire to not kill others is not stupidity on her part. If the situation absolutely calls for it, she will kill an opponent- albeit painlessly.
Genuine: Having a natural ineptitude for deception, Tesh isn't good at putting up a false front. Communication with others is easy for her, but lying is not.
Balance: As a Grey Jedi, Tesh attempts to draw upon the force as a whole. This makes her much more at risk to being utterly consumed by the darker side of the force if she isn't careful. Beyond personal conviction, this is part of why she tries to avoid inflicting death or pain herself.
Personality - While independent minded and a maverick of sorts, Tesh was never a particularly combative or headstrong Jedi Knight. When they committed to something, however, they stayed the course until the very end. She is strong in a silent way, and will take wordless and decisive action if it leads to what they believe is the correct result. They have a certain respect for all life, without distinction based on their connection to the force. Their personal philosophy requires that they put being a living thing, a person, over being a force user. While at a glance stoic and emotionally repressed, she is actually a kind-hearted person who laments death and suffering in general.
Backstory - Tesh was taken from her family and homeworld at a very young age. She was never given time to form a connection with either, leaving her to be raised by the Order itself. Her personality and mentality lent well toward the healing arts, and she exhibited talent in her early years. When the time came for her to receive a master, it had become clear that Tesh's greatest talent lay in Battle Meditation. It was a relatively rare talent, she was a prodigy in it, and a war was raging on. As a result, she was involved in the Sith Wars from a very young age.
A moderately famous duelist within the order who had long passed his prime, Mori's master was chosen based on pragmatism rather than compatibility. An Echani himself, it was deemed natural that the two would work together. Pragmatically, he was chosen so that she would be protected in the backline of battles without putting someone actually useful out of the fight. What times she wasn't involved with the Sith Wars was lent to peacekeeping missions across the galaxy and assisting the Jedi Service Corps, an organization she still has strong connections with.
By the time of the wars end, Mori had long since become a Knight herself. While she had formed some form of bond with her old master, she never looked back after becoming a real member of the order. Deemed a radical because of her views on the Force very early on, Tesh never made it to the rank of Master despite being qualified for it. Within the order she was quite influential with a core group of like-minded Knights, and had a certain conviction that created natural magnetism.
The Jedi Code, however, cannot exist within the same context as war. This was illustrated again and again, and Mori had doubts very early on as Knight. These compounded eventually, leading to her resignation from the Order on fairly good terms a few years ago. Her actions since have been mysterious at best, but she has made herself a useful resource to the now massively expanding Jedi Service Corps.
In actuality, she joined the cult very early on in its creation. They have lent their various contacts and sympathizers within the Order and elsewhere to Okussus' cause. While her true motivations are unknown, it is more than likely that she wishes to see the Jedi Order destroyed. With the Sith recently destroyed, this is the perfect moment to wipe the slate clean and create something new. If eternal conflict over balance is to leave the galaxy, then the Jedi have to go.
