Genevieve the Buneary
Name:
Genevieve Bonnet
Age:
Young Adult
Gender:
Female
Species:
Buneary
Ability:
Limber
Appearance:
Inspiration by Sevi Yummy
Your average sized Buneary, but can be easily confused for a doll due to her diminutive size and lolita style wardrobe. When one looks closely, it can even look as if all the color pink she has been wearing finally wore off onto her fur (“Don’t tell anyone, but I have to use a lot of dye!”).
Personality:
”I am cold, calculating, and -- bahahaha! Can you imagine?! Okay, okay. I love cute things, and making things cute. Cake, cupcakes, candy, cupcakes… What? I’m just listing things I like? ‘Cliche?’ Wow! Okay, bet you didn’t see this coming: I’m as likely to go to the movies as I am to go to the arena and spar with Bruce the Hitmonlee himself! He’ll tell you! I am formidable!”
Short Biography:
Genevieve is a second generation Cloudgate citizen, her family having moved here with only the clothes on their back and their mobile sewing machines while on the road. The Bonnets, shortly after arriving in the city, successfully opened a small custom clothing store that they now live in the upper floor of. She has taken up the craft of her parents and is very skilled in the art of repairs and design.
The flyers have made their way to the Bonnets’ shop, someone early in the morning must have stuck it there. Even after her parents hastily removed the ad, she spied it in the wastebin and has since felt a stirring within her that she has never felt before. The Buneary often visited the local arena (“For exercise, I swear!”) and always pursued the exhilaration of whatever thrill can get her blood pumping. She is old enough to leave and make her own way in the world, but her doll-like appearance makes it rather… difficult for her parents to let go.
Move Set:
Baby-Doll Eyes
Substitute
Power-Up Punch
Rest
Equipment:
+Tailor’s Kit
+Life-Size Buneary Doll
+Cute Clothes
Other:
She may want to answer the call for adventure, but she still wants to continue her parents’ business and expand into a full fashion empire! Which may be impossible to do if she doesn’t fight against the encroaching darkness...

Paint
WHAT WAS YOUR CHARACTER'S NAME? WHAT IS THE CODENAME THEY NOW GO BY AS A ZE?
Sophia Rosewood, now known simply as "Paint".
DESCRIBE YOUR CHARACTER'S MASK AND APPEARANCE.
[Sybaritic Aesthetic]
A petite abdomen hides beneath folds of layered contrasting fabrics, striking an immediate contrast that she would furtively claim as the portrayal of the dichotomy of man and nature. A cloak flows the length of her body but keeps her limbs open and free; it bears tones of sandstone that morphs into cobalt by the ends of the threads. A thin top with intricate lining across its hems leads to simple brown pants and sandals.
The very nature of her wardrobe reveals olive skin with one full arm sleeve of tattoos as the other is bare. A slender dragon coils around her upper arm; above her elbow is a series of dots, three rows, like a morse code pattern; along her forearm is a group of faeries that seem to be flying away in scattered directions after plucking treasures from some unseen source; an amorphous shadow with tendrils seems to lash out angrily from the back of her hand, tendrils reaching or lapping around each of her fingers and one such tendril has its dark grasp around the ankles of one unfortunate faerie.
Although she knows the real pièce de résistance is her noggin-encasing mask. A highly reflective material covers her face, ignoring all features and creating a smooth surface instead. It is hard, like glass, and lifts up from the bottom though it is carefully tucked into light fabric to hide her head. Unlike a normal mirror, the images within are distorted and dark, whether it's the environment or one’s face.

WHAT IS A STRANGER'S FIRST IMPRESSION UPON MEETING THEM? HOW DOES YOUR CHARACTER SEE THEMSELVES?
Space cadet. Where is her mind? The world is open to interpretation, and her medium allows her to share her ephemeral vision. Her art includes her own body, which is a canvas for delicately scripted ink and yet makes more sense than her occasional ramblings.
Paint certainly views herself as a pariah, and can only be truly understood by those that have seen what she dreams.
WHERE DID THEY GROW UP? WHERE DO THEY FEEL AT HOME?
Hausterdam. A city built along twin rivers known for their river-jet races and unique fruit. Paint, however, doesn’t really recognize what home means to her and will set up a studio wherever she can plant her feet and a bucket of paint.
WHO ARE (WERE) THE MOST IMPORTANT PEOPLE IN THEIR LIVES?
Honen Monkaubi. Renowned underground artist of Hausterdam from a century prior mysteriously vanished. There are rumors he left the city far to the West, where Rig is.
Otherwise, Paint is not very sentimental. She feels disconnected from her family, a simple yet vicious cycle of apathy to beget apathy.
WHAT IS THEIR PROFESSION, SKILL OR LIFESTYLE? WHAT DO THEY THINK THEIR STRENGTHS ARE? WHAT ARE THEIR ACTUAL STRENGTHS?
Paint is an artist. Day in and day out her thoughts reach far into the depths of her enigmatic mind to scrape out any pesky concept that attempts to escape her clutches. And whatever she envisions is channeled into her brush and finally onto a canvas.
She believes she can interpret the world as it really is, unveiling secrets and using her keen insight on both people and environments. There is always a hidden truth, and she is the one to reveal it.
Her true strength is disseminating information, yet she tends to mold answers into concepts that only she can fully understand. She is also no stranger to more ephemeral ideas and is very open-minded to others.
WHAT ARE THEIR FEARS, FLAWS AND SECRETS?
What Paint may fear most is to be alone in the world of her understanding, and actively lives it out if she others don’t give attention to her work. What may be common sense to others fails in her eyes, considering unviable solutions to her problems.
A secret to Paint and only her is how she witnessed a Nox actively feed on a man in the dead of night once, back in Hausterdam. The way he was corrupted, from his very core he was a different creature that knew only anger and confusion. This sparked a series of surreal and dark natured artworks that gathered a lot of attention in some underground communities.
WHAT DO THEY WANT MOST? WHAT DO THEY ACTUALLY NEED?
Paint wants to continue her spiral into the void depths of the nature of Nox, to capture the essence of what simply be revealed within every creature rather than twisting it.
She needs intervention from this spiral. She recognizes what she is doing and has no qualms with the descent. Without proper attention, it is very likely she will soon be consumed by the very thing she pursues.
WHY DID THEY JOIN THE ZEPHYR EXTINCT?
To follow Ravel without actually joining the cultists. If she is able to observe the dealings, the consequences, and aftermath of a dark organization, then perhaps more “truth” can be revealed to her and thus interpreted to the world.
HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE THIS CHARACTER CHANGE AND DEVELOP?
Her focus can be on other, less macabre things. If she is pushed to pursue a different path and sense that she also wants it, then she can go on to doing great works. There has also yet to be a real sense of community for her, and it will be a difficult road, but a true friendship can open her eyes to truly understanding the world properly.
PITCH A SMALL SUBPLOT THAT WOULD BE PERSONALLY MEANINGFUL TO YOUR CHARACTER.
Trying new mediums and channeling her interpretation of the world could lead to interesting paths. She clearly wants knowledge and to put it to use in a way she and others can understand, so perhaps tasks that involve books or gathering intel through social means can open up different life paths.
