CHARACTER SKELETON:

Name: Liana Windgate

Race: Vampire

Age: 200 (but appears to be mid-late twenties)

Appearance:

Real appearance: Tall and slim, with pale skin and long black hair that goes halfway down her back, she has red eyes and fangs. Long slender fingers, with red nails with pointed tips.

Glamour appearance: The same except she has green eyes, and no Fangs

Equipment: A red pendant that hangs around her neck. It almost looks like a tear drop. She always carries a flask

Abilities:
Glamour- she can make herself appear different to others this is how she can pass as human.

Background/ why they are against the new law:

Liana has been around for a very long time. Her ability to use her glamour has helped her stay under the radar. She has an accent that one would not be able to pick or put down to any one continent. During her time she had seen both sides, a world with people like her could go as they pleased with the mortals none the wiser, and this world, what she lived in now, where they were forced to hide, humans knowing of the existence of vampires and the like made things like hunting extremely difficult for Liana. Gone were the days she could pose as a courtesan and get a feed so easily.Now they knew what to look for, people were on guard all the time. Vampires are not what they appear in the movies, she cant just erase memories or control people, it was because of this that she is now starving, her powers ave greatly weakened, much longer and she wont even be able to uphold her glamour.

This is why things need to change. Liana believes that equality is the way. She has kept herself hidden as she knows exactly what will happen if they know what she is, one of her closest friends met the sun at the hands of the humans, their excuse was they were scared. The government can tell them that they'll be safe, and that this is why they need to be sectioned off from the humans, but Liana has seen the dark underbelly, Supernaturals were being treated like animals, like lab rats. All the humans want is to know how they can benefit. That's when Liana went looking for the group she had heard whispers about, the ones that wanted just what she did.

Background/rehash

Humans have come to learn of the existence of the supernatural. As a result a bill was passed that required all supernatural beings to carry a licence called the Supernatural Registry Act, identifying their true age, species and abilities. They are also required to stay sectioned away from humans for the most part. Should they require to enter the human population they must first go past border security. This caused much unrest within the supernatural world, with some agreeing to abide by the law, and others choosing to pose as human whilst continuing their supernatural lives underground. It is this group that is trying to overturn the law, as they feel it is unjust and that they should be treated equally, rather than being sectioned off from the humans.

We will be a part of the underground organisation whom are posing as human, and trying to overturn the law. You will need a character who CAN pass as human within reason. For example my character is a Vampire who with the aid of a pendant can go out into sunlight, thus allowing her to walk in daylight and easily pass as human. Things such as spells and glamours are also welcome, this is a magical world so almost anything goes within reason.

If you don't post for an extended period of time without good reason, you will be left behind and the RP will continue without you

Yeah I don't see much Issue with Dragons, but you would still need to be able to blend with human society, like as in disguise yourself as human, Were you thinking actual dragon or anthropomorphic?

This is just a basic outline of the background for the RP. I have plans, and more will follow should enough interest be generated.

((In this I will be looking for 3 other people to join all of which will be a supernatural creature who is part of the secret underground community. you can be a creature of your choice, but within reason/ no God mode etc... and nothing too OP. Everything will be subject to GM approval.)
