okay, so I might be having a few problems with not dissapearing, but I'm not going to abandon this rp.
(real life sucks)
Aer watched as the humans seemed to be doing something on the deck, he couldn't see what though. Finally they threw something overboard, and it sunk into the water quickly. He believed they were called nets. His family had never let him get near one, they had told him it was dangerous, but wouldn't tell him why. They didn't look dangerous to him, they didn't have teeth like a shark, which he had the unfortunate of seeing closer then he had like. He reached out and touched it. It felt a little odd but it didn't hurt him. If he were smaller and weaker, he could see himself getting trapped in the net that had been dragging by the boat, but he was almost an adult, so he knew that wasn't going to happen.
Aer continued to swim under the boat, careful not to stay to far behind to avoid the net that the boat was trailing behind. He had to give the humans credit, they may not have been able to swim like him or his kind, but at least they could figure out creative ways to catch fish. Aer noticed after a bit that they were headed off towards towards the part of the sea that was close to the caves. He had to swim through various rock structures to keep up with the humans but soon they were in a less rocky area, but the water was more shallow so he couldn't be as far down as he wanted to be but he did his best to stay hidden.
Sorry, things got busy around here, but I promise you that I'm not going to dissapear like that again.
okay thanks
Does Nemo's dad already have the nets out?
Under the still quiet waters of the ocean in the early morning, Aer stirred on the bottom of the sea floor with the rest of his school, just like all the other days. Some were up, looking for food, others still laid about on the sea floor asleep, little bubbles rising from their gills up to the surface. Aer decided that he was going to go about exploring seeing how there was no one at the moment to stop him. He swam along until he got close to actual land, not to close to where he was almost on shore, but close enough to see it and the boats the humans had. Speaking of boats, one seemed to be taking off now. Aer decided to follow it, or rather, beside of it but swam down deeply so that the humans couldn't see him well. Of course, that also meant that he couldn't see the humans all that well either but what could you do? He could make out a human with long, red hair, peering over the boat, staring down at him. He backed off some, worried that a humans eye sight might be better then his, but still continued to follow the boat.
I'm really sorry for not getting back to you on this. There was a bad thunderstorm here and the power just now came back on. I'm working on my post now
take your time, I'm not going anywhere

Bio: Was born into a school of humanoid manta rays like him, and had been traveling around with them.
