*Not yet a complete list*
Combat: Ghast: These oddly humanoid creatures are sensitive to bright light but have a keen sense of smell. These fierce and agile predators attack with their sharp teeth and even sharper claws, and with some effort they can rip apart light armor. Ghasts are usually slouched over but standing upright, they are a head taller than humans and are roughly equivalent to a basic foot soldier.
Wraith: This cartilaginous entity features claws longer and sharper than the ghast, a shapeless face, and a thick carapace. The most notable trait of the Wraiths is their ability to partially phase in and out of this dimension becoming much more durable and gaining partial invisibility. A keen observer may detect a phasing Wraith by the vague shape of a shimmering figure moving in the background. Lacking any discernable sensory organs, it is not understood how these creatures can find a target. Wraiths stand about 10 feet or about 3.01 meters tall and are roughly equivalent to a SpecOps team.
Crezor: Large, Bulky creatures with vertically open jaws and 3 pairs of limbs varying in length. They stand about 50 feet (15.24 meters) tall and have mouths large enough to swallow vehicles whole. Their fore limbs have been replaced with a pair of heavy weapons that fire balls of plasma reaching upwards of 3,000 F (1649 C). Crezors are roughly equal to a battle walker.
Terask: A colossal worm-like creature that is about 15 feet (4.5 meters) thick and about 300 feet (90 meters) long and feature a 4-pronged mouth (Similar to the Predator or the Elites from Halo). Terasks move through soil and rock with little effort and can spray a noxious acidic slime from its mouth capable of melting several feet of steel in seconds. These creatures are very sensitive to vibrations in the soil and rock they inhibit and can detect something as small as a deer a few miles away. Their carapace is durable enough to withstand extreme amounts of damage (Though a slight vulnerability to lasers or other types of focused-light based weaponry) and have no real human counterpart.
Dread Lord: This subspecies is one of the magik users at the disposal of the Vuar’uuk. Resembling large serpents about 14 feet long (4.27 meters) with two bony clawed limbs near the head and the body ends in a long blunt tail, ridged and finned without trace of hind limbs. Their hide is durable enough to withstand small arms fire and they propel themselves through the air despite any obvious method for doing so. While Vuar’uuk magik is primarily fueled by sacrifice, the Dread Lords methods seem even more cruel. Through yet unknown methods, they are somehow capable of mentally killing allied strains (usually the weaker ‘cannon fodder’ ones) en masse, causing them to melt into biomass in a very painful process as indicated by what methods they can scream. The biomass fluidly travel to the Dread Lord, making a protective barrier around it. The Dread Lord can then ‘spend’ accumulated biomass which simply disappear (presumably somehow sent to the Master Mind as sustenance) and either casting a boon for nearby Vuar’uuk (such as an increase to durability) or causing a calamity on any foes. The Dread Lord is roughly equivalent to a Cleric, though twisted and seemingly evil.
Other: Hive Masters: Undisputed leader of their respective Hives. Directly controls all of it’s subordinates to various degrees and is able to sense anything detected by them and react accordingly. Is effectively immortal as long as it receives a minimum biomass intake. Can influence or dominate creatures with a weaker will than it’s own (I’ll use this primarily to mind control, say, a human in order to act as a translator between the Vuar’uuk and other characters). The Hive Master is roughly equal in rank to a dictator, counting out the Master Mind of course. The Hive Master size various but the one for this RP in particular starts out at about 16 feet or nearly 4.9 meters tall, for comparison, the average human is about 6 feet or 1.85 meters tall. They resemble large spiders, and like spiders are able to spin a web-lie substance harder than metal to incapacitate a creature or to make shelter.
Drone: The lowest rung in the hierarchy but perhaps the most important. These amorphous blobs can form their bodies into various shapes for various purposes and are used for constructing and maintaining the Hive. In some cases, these unfortunate creatures may be sacrificed either in a ritual and used as a source of magik or to free up their biomass for another strain. The Drone is roughly equal in rank to a slave and is sized roughly equal to an elephant.
Hive Priests: One of the few strains afforded some degree of individuality within the hive, Hive Priests are responsible for the many rituals that occur day to day within the Hive. They appear like slender humanoids with a skin black as night, no facial features whatsoever and an ornamental headdress that is part of the body. They stand at about 11 feet tall (3.35 meters) They are highly sensitive to ultraviolet radiation emitted from many stars and remain within their Temples during the day. The greatest responsibility the Hive Priests have is to perform the many sacrifices required and extract ritually pure biomass from the higher quality biological organisms (i.e. sentient lifeforms) that would be found in the local environment and that the Hive lacks since the majority of the strains have no sense of independent thought. Pure biomass has many uses in the Hive but typically will be implemented to facilitate rapid evolution or growth in a noted creature (almost always the Hive Master). Due to their high ranking and lack of combat ability, they are usually paired with more capable strains for protection. Hive Priests are just below the Hive Master in the hierarchy.
Shifters: As is implied by the name, this strain has a mastery over it’s physical form and can mimic any creature’s appearance perfectly. The mimicry is only external and maintained with concentration, if a shifter were to experience an injury breaking the skin or to be distracted in some way their true nature may incidentally reveal. Though the appearance is perfect, they cannot accurately portray their imitation other than what they have observed and lack the organs to speak in any language. They are roughly equivalent to a spy or saboteur.

Hallowed Ones: Due to the genetic instability from the mixing of genetic material in biomass as well as the rapid gestation, some newly birthed strains may develop genetic mutations. In the event that a mutation would hinder the creature in it’s role, it would be killed and it’s biomass recycled. In rarer cases they may develop a mutation considered positive such extraordinarily sharp claws or dramatically increased regenerative properties. Such creatures are known as the Hallowed Ones and are believed as a boon from the Master Mind. (These creatures will essentially be an excuse to have heroes, specializations of standard combat strains or otherwise important characters besides just having the Hive Master)
