Meeka didn't mind that Professor Hayes had assigned so much homework. 10 pages was easy for her to write, as for the subject he went over in class, it was a great review for her. Once the class had eneded, Meeka left the room and went to the next class. Meeka finally arrived to the next class, and after finding Eris, Meeka placed her things besides her and before sitting, Eris turned to her with an uncharacteristic smile in her lips and said, "I'm sorry about my joke earlier, Meeka. The truth is that having a boyfriend is wonderful in so many ways that I can't barely explain it with words."
Meeka thought it would be cool if she had a boyfriend. She never had one before, and from what she saw around her, was that relationships made people so happy and that they were perfect. Always happy and not a single problem in them. She gleefully thought about what she would do if some guy came up to her and asked her on a date. She didn't know, but her thoughts abruptly ended when a guy in a black and purple coat fell from the ceiling onto the floor with a thud. Most of the girls screamed in the classroom, some guys could be heard saying cool, and what is that. Meeka was even more surprised when that guy suddenly stood up, head leaning over his right shoulder, his eyes closed with a crazy look on his face. Meeka didn't feel comfortable at all. She actually wished she had sat in the back of the classroom.
"Welcome class!" The crazy looking figure said, while his eyes were closed. He suddenly brought his head to back in line with his body. Many people gasped when they saw his face. His red eyes boring into your soul, and half his face covered with a silver-looking mask. Strange things were written on his hands and feet. His voice was was like a gentle breeze, but his demeanor left you with the impression that he would swallow your soul. The guy bowed to the students then said, ""My name is Professor Marx. I will be your planar instructor." As he finished his introduction, a large hole opened up and black tentacles stretched out and grabbed Marx and pulled him through. The hole dissapeared and once again screams could be heard and some girls were crying this time.
One girl in the back of the room fainted when she heard Marx's voice from behind her. Everyone turned around and saw Marx standing there in the back of the room, like nothing happened. He tripped on his robe as he made his way back to the front nearly collapsing on top of a guy. Once he was at the front, he clapped his hands, and it was pitch black. His voice could be heard in the darkness, it sounded eerie and raspy all at the same time."Have you ever wondered what the void is like when you visit the plane of darkness?" His voice seemed to come from every direction. A boy started screaming saying something grabbed him and more girls started to scream. Meeka felt very nervous, and was actually really scared. "Do you feel depressed? Do you feel that there is no hope for survival?" Another guy cried out in pain, saying that he was bleeding. "Wh...what's going on here?"Meeka's voice was incredibly shaky. Just then, the lights came back on, and the teacher stood before them smiling, like nothing had happened at all. "I think that is enough introduction for the day class. I hope your experience with the plane of darkness was exhilarating and joyful. You have no homework unless you want it. Now leave before the next class comes in. Our education has only just begun." He laughed maniacally and walked into his office located behind him.
Meeka was visibly shaking when she left the horrid room, she could barely stand. What had just happened in there?
