Current I just realized my name is uncaptialized from before we moved. Apparently instead of being an important person, I am now just a random NPC... *sad panda*

Been a while, but let's see what trouble I can stir up on RP Guild. ^.^

Bio

"Keep love in your heart. A life without it is like a sunless garden when the flowers are dead." -Oscar Wilde

Onwards to a new bio!~

So, the types of role-plays I enjoy most? Romance first, adventure second and if you can mix the two together - you're my hero, forevers. I also love fantasy, enjoy sci-fi, interested in steampunk, and can usually find my way around 'slice of life' types.

About me? Very, very simple ... and pay attention; I am a lesbian, girly-girl, nerdy gamer. However you feel about that, that's who and what I am. So in turn, my personas (or characters) are also lesbians, more feminine / submissive, and if in modern or sci-fi RPs, usually a gamer of some sort. \(^.^)/ Also, I love and adores kittes. <3 So sometimes I like to play cat girls, but worry not for I consider myself someone who skirts around causal to advanced. Character development is my world, yo.

Also you might hear me talk about my wife from time to time, but I'm also polyamorous, so there's that as well. In short I don't judge and I'm open to friendly chats, RP offers (if I have room) and otherwise any other questions or comments. <3

RP Guild Family
Wholockgal - My wife! Who is a huge Dr. Who & Sherlock fangirl.
Nallore - Invited me to an awesome RP and became my friend. <3 (Always asks me what I want to talk about. xD)
Caits - My unofficial sister. She doesn't know yet, unless she reads this. =3
Soufflegirl123 - Lover of Dr. Who and always says hi to me whenever I join chat. ^.^

Don't worry too much. All of my RPs seemed to have dried up lately... but it hasn't been long enough to call off just yet, so I'm in a weird limbo state. This is my favorite so far though, so I hope we can pick it back up. :)
Well, once @Ruby starts talking to me again or sends a PM or... something, I'll start posting. Just not 100% sure where she wants to start. ^.^

Seems fine, I always preferred the science fiction route of Hawkgirl than the mythological fantasy route. I don't have any problems with it. GM staff? What'cha think?

Just tag me whenever you guys decide. ^^ I could never keep up with this OOC anyways, not to mention half of the people ignore anything I say as it is. :p So I'll just stick to my subscriptions page.
Her eyes wandered slowly up to the skylight, snow white clouds lazily drifting by as if there wasn't a care in the world, the library full of silence and solitude. Not many people visited the library on a whole, leaving it as a quiet workplace for the Sylph, though it sometimes reminded her how dull her life had become. Gianna leaned back forward, her gaze falling on a document she was being paid to copy and sighed. She was fine doing this as a living - it gave her plenty of time to read and study all the books in the library, but at times it was just boring to copy words - she imagined that almost anyone would agree. She supposed she just wished that something more exciting would come along or more accurately, something more meaningful would pop into her life. She wanted to do something that meant something so she could be proud of herself, at least more proud than being a decent scribe.

Brushing her black hair back with her hands, she went about scribing more, figuring it was almost best to get it done as soon as possible so she had time to read. Her fairy-like wings fluttered slightly to shake herself, to make herself a bit more alert than before, in hopes she could get the task done. There wasn't much to Gianna's life as it was, besides her off time in which she'd tried and explore the ruins and cave systems around the capital city. Even then, she hadn't be able to find anything extraordinary about any of them besides a few odd bits and pieces of ancient texts that had been long forgotten.

Gianna paused for another brief moment, reflecting on something that had occurred some time ago. The thought of exploring forgotten sites always reminded her of her magic, at least these days it did. She knew magic was not of the norm among the populace as a whole and even while people marveled or feared those with magics, Gianna in a way still felt unique - she knew her type of magic was not so common place within the magi circles. After all, most people put up emotions that related to danger or wanting to help their fellow when magic flared, giving most magic users some sort of offensive or defensive magic. Gianna on the other hand, had simply been extremely frustrated at not knowing what something meant... and felt determined to figure it out when her magic flared. Magic that related to knowledge - not much offense or defense in that, was there?

Shaking it off, Gianna sighed and just hunched back over her work, letting her wings drop slowly into a more relaxed position...

I apologize if any of this upset you, I know my intention was never to pressure you, only to provide another perspective. So if I did upset you, I do apologize sincerely. As I said, it is your character and you're free to do, or it do, whatever you please with her.

You didn't pressure me and you didn't specifically upset me either. It was just pointed out that if I want a character to be in an event, I should just do so whether they'd be useful or not. They're probably right, but I became too frustrated by not getting a simple yes or no to that question that I believe my feelings would now hinder any ability to role-play this scenario. Gianna won't be missed anyways - no one knows her. :p
You can do whatever you'd like but here's my two cents.

The only thing you need to ask yourself is "Would my character be here?"

If no, don't join.

If yes, join and have your character do whatever is natural. If they fight, then fight. If they run and hide, do that too. It's not about fitting the character to the story, but putting them in and seeing what they do.

After talking to several people on chat and thinking about your reply, I've decided it's best I not get involved. I'm far too emotional to be of any use writing anything for this event. Sorry for wasting your time with silly questions. Hope everyone has fun.
@Twhirtley
^ She doesn't have to be there for any official purpose. An event like that would have tons of spectators. It seems to me that it would almost be like when they had gladiators in the Coloseum. Many businesses would shut down and other events would be postponed because anyone who was "loyal to the empire" would be expected to be there to support it. It might even be socially unacceptable for someone to skip the event unless their job was absolutely essential to the running of the kingdom. I'm not sure to what extreme the kingdom is militaristic/patriotic, but according to the intro on the IC page with the whole "might makes right" and such, I would think that a normal person would feel a bit of pressure to show up to support the knights.

The point wasn't so much whether she'd be there or not, but rather if she'd do any good in the support group. Essentially it comes down to this; does she run away like everyone else would to hide in her inn room because of the screams (which I still have no clue what these things are) or will there actually be a benefit for her having joined a group investigating / chasing these creatures? I mean, besides her knowledge of things (though I don't know if she'd know about screamers?), she can scout from the air... but so could our little fairy healer. xD
@Lydyn Hmm, where are you on that Hawkgirl thing? I wanted to play Hawkman, with Carter Hall being former JSA and Katar being current. I know the original versions of the Golden and Silver Age characters, its a lot like The Flash and Green Lantern reboots. Carter was the Golden Age Hawkman, the Egyptian who reincarnated with his lover time and again. Katar was the silver age Hawkman, a Thanagarian policeman who came to Earth before staying. We could place the generations and differences to build a consistant universe without melting the two characters together if you'd like. And if you went with the younger Hawkwoman/girl, like you mostly are now, you wouldn't be drawn into the reincarnation/romance subplot.

Not entirely sure what you mean by, 'where am I with the Hawkgirl thing.' I already wrote out her entire CS and it has absolutely nothing to do with that silly Egyptian reincarnation nonsense. And yes, it's mostly silly since I really don't do straight relationships - mostly because I can't relate, therefore it's not fun for me. :p (The actual romance is honestly quite nice.) The rest of it, I didn't quite follow... I mean... do what you want with Hawkman? I just know them getting together has a chance of about zero, unless Hawkman is someone a woman. ^.^'
