@CollectorOfMyst - That's an interesting idea! I ran something similar to this and yes, it turns into hero Y hearing about X and then Z knowing about both. Certainly something that everyone is free to play off of. Kind of like two heroes having been enemies once - maybe both kingdoms were neither in the wrong? Or perhaps one was manipulating one of the heroes. Very interesting!

Personally, I will be creating the first known legend of the "old world." Ancient enough that everyone knows the legend but probably thinks her more of a myth or fairytale than an actual person that existed in history. =3 In fact her own blade may be more recognizable than she is herself since it'll be something truly unique in the World. Just not decided if I'll call it Excalibur or Lionheart yet. Maybe Durandal or Save the Queen even (I'm a Final Fanatsy fan, lol).
Quick question, not sure if it's been asked yet but do we remember the actions we took in our previous life?

"Instead it was an infinite tunnel of memories, sharpened to perfect recall, as if reliving your entire life for eternity. All the joys, despairs, heroic feats, defeats, and even the very moment that you past away, as if the universe was keeping your existence bottled for safe keeping."

So the answer is: yes. =3 <3
@Apocalypse Great questions!

1. Does magic exist? As in the form of wizards, priests etc?
Yes, absolutely! Magic will likely exist in such a way that we can each create our own unique magics, but nothing official just yet!

2. I guess we will be taking about medieval tech level, right?
Yep! There might be some rare airships (because I love them), but mostly medieval tech levels!

3. Do our character get reborn in their original bodies or other bodies?
Original bodies! At whatever age you feel like you'd enjoy role-playing them at. Mine will be at her prime.

4. Do they retain the skills they had, prior to their death?
Absolutely, every single one of them as well as artifacts - will be explained in more detail with the CS & OOC!

5. Important question for me, how heavily will this be centered around people sandboxing their own plotlines in collabs? Or will this be more of a post by post character driven group interaction?
Well, it's a bit of a mix probably. Things will happen to push the plot, since the World is dying, but by all means you're encouraged to role-play your characters as you please. If they want to pursue something outside the main goal - then go for it! Just keep in mind I want a party of adventurers, not characters who wander off on their own because they don't care about the World dying. ^-^

Special Question! When will the OOC be up potentially?
Just got my new work schedule - I will be working Saturday! So most likely Sunday. <3
Wow, so happy to get quick replies! <3 I'll probably work on this slowly, but the OOC may not be up until Sunday - I think I work this Saturday, but I get Monday off. However I don't know my schedule for sure yet. =3 I'll get Sunday off regardless!

Death was not what you expected. It was neither the heaven you were promised nor was it the black void that you were convinced it was. Instead it was an infinite tunnel of memories, sharpened to perfect recall, as if reliving your entire life for eternity. All the joys, despairs, heroic feats, defeats, and even the very moment that you past away, as if the universe was keeping your existence bottled for safe keeping.

Strangely, you cannot seem to remember how long this eternity lasted or how many times you relived your life - was it only a hundred times or hundreds of thousands? Finally, however, you reached the end of the road. All your memories suddenly go blank only to be replaced by the image of a woman, robed in the purest of white and skin nearly as pale as snow. She looks down, a cowl permanently covering her eyes as she points down. You follow her direction and your gaze is met by a strange sight indeed - a familiar land, where you once lived, however it is covered by a permafrost and darkness. Before you can even attempt to protest this scene, her otherworldy voice echos against the void, "I have kept you for this very reason, my precious soul. She is dark and cold and dying - you and your brethren shall breath life into her once more. You must find the source of this death. The World is calling you..."

Premise...

You will craft a hero, one that was a legend in their time and has long since passed away, but their deeds and myths have survived the passage of time. However, they have been reborn into this new reality, one where the land is dying, covered with permafrost, and a source of evil eats away at the World. The strange woman from the vision has hand picked your character for this task - be it because they saved the land, stopped a great evil, or spread goodness across the land or any number of great heroic deeds.

All characters will start in the same location with the same rather cryptic message to save the World from an unknown "death." This is an epic adventure in a somewhat dark fantasy with the goal of battling one of the greatest evils to have existed yet. There is the mystery of what it is of course and the party will grow and fight together. However it is expected that characters are made in such a way to promote a community amongst themselves, so loners and anti-heroes are discouraged (but not banned).

Right now this is simply an interest check (I can be a rather busy woman), so here is hoping that I can gather heroes for this journey! Feel free to let your imagination run wild with possibilities of who your hero might be, what legends they inspired, and what it is they bring to the table that is uniquely them. <3

[♪ Battle Music] Covering her eyes for a moment as the flash ripped the snake man in front of her, she sneered slightly in response to its sheer will power. It was in half and yet it still continued to push onwards, making her wonder if it was something instinctual in the creature or that perhaps her music had a stranger impact than she realized - it was only the second time she used it after all.

Regardless, she gracefully rolled to its injured side as it swung towards her and jammed her short sword against it's neck and let it bleed out as it gasped for air to breath - finally, it was down, though it seemed a bit more hardy or stubborn than the others. The chaos of the field had left a few others on the ground as well as her allies assisting. As Alm crashed into the new group of soldiers, whom seemed less experienced, she did a small twirl to ease the pain of those still fighting - though it was not even near the level of healing Pox or Garret would need.

As Hafrbjǫrn charged with Alm, her gaze went to her father meeting in battle with the queen. If anyone needed extra assistance it was him and with a swift flick of her sword, an energetic tune whistled towards him, granting him extra speed to fight the bitch. If she went down, mayhaps the rest of the snake creatures would bow out and stop posing a threat. One could hope. With one final flick, she sent energies towards Sybille as well, to help complete that spell of hers.
@Arthanus - I'll get on it tomorrow!
@Arthanus - Edited!
