(A lone girl of about 18 stands center stage with a single light shining from above. Everything else around her is cast into dark forbidden shadows. Even the left side of her face is obscured where the spot light fails to reach her porcelain skin.)
Girl: Hello. My name is Melissa, but you may call me Mel. I am not new to this place, though this place is new to me. It has been almost six months since I have last visited this place and my how it has changed. I have been gone for a long time because it was the beginning of my freshman year in college and I became overwhelmed with course work and a social life and trying to keep up with everything. But I have decided to return, now that I have a better handle on my life. You will find me among the casual and advanced role plays, maybe some free role plays as well, it depends on the story and if it is not a speed posting RP.
As I'm sure you can tell by now, my major in college is theatre, it is my passion, my life, the very air I breathe. So if I am a little late in responding to you, please do not agitated, I will respond, but my school work comes first.
