Aerilyn growled as the man retaliated against her, but the force of the impact against her jaw was enough to send her reeling back. She landed on her back, out of air, and in pain. She panted, her lungs desperate for the element that had claimed her as its own. She gradually was back on her feet, and by then, the battle was over. The Vygorns were dead. She wiped the blood away from her lips where she had bit her lip, which was swollen twice its size, and spat out the rest from her lips. Looking at the fire arrow, she looked up the hill and gave Shida the middle finger, "Thanks for your help, asshole." She stated in as kind of a joking way as she could possibly manage. Upon walking over to the flames, she noted that there were vines that must have belonged to Thelma. She looked over to the girl and gave her a nod of appreciation. then she made sure to do the same. If they were going to protect each other, they had to thank each other as well. We are a team now... and in order to prevent the world from devastation, we've gotta stop acting like bitchy little teenagers on their periods. We're adults now, whether we like it or not.

Just then, she did a head-count in her mind and noticed that there was one missing. Cora. Panic and a slight pang of anger welled in her breast. She had believed the girl to be a bit smarter than to run off on her own, especially when they were so new to this concept. We don't know what the Vygorns are truly capable of... except world domination. They may even have powers that are stronger than those Void Blade things that the one guy whooped against my jaw... She brushed herself off and pulled her cloak's hood over her head. She glanced over and saw that Will and Tsunami were already going to the girl's rescue. Now he's acting like an idiot.

"Alright, screw the plan, we need to go rescue Cora as a team." She stated as loudly as she could, mustering as much willpower and self-confidence as she could manage. "Phil, Shida, and Thelma... would you please..." She had to swallow her enormous pride. "please... help me find Cora and Phil."
Never mind~!
Atina slowly stood up and wrapped her arms around her abdomen. She hacked a little before spitting out any remaining blood from her lips. "We need to find them." She stated as powerfully as she could. "Those two might just be who we're in need of on this quest." She then readjusted her eye patch and even her cloak before motioning for him to follow. They had to find them--and find them quick. She had no idea if there would be anyone following them, but if there was, then there was no time to be lost. Fortune... please be on our side on our journey... help us find that girl...
Holy balls... what's happened since I got slammed by work?! DX I'm so confuzzled~!
Oh god. Everytime I post I'm half asleep and skim (bad habits are bad). Damn. I'll fix it soon
Atina looked up at the naked woman as soon as she had finished the last round of coughing up blood. Then she saw the woman begin to start weaving a spell. Holding up her hand, she said in a raspy voice, "No more healing magic... please..." She shuddered and fought all the attempts to help her, from her guild mates, to this woman. She couldn't just sit there and be cared for. They had to get to Foxlin if they wanted to stop the Haze in time, or at least slow them down a bit.

Just then, she noticed that the woman and the floating man seemed to have a glow radiating from them--just as it had around Magnus. She forced herself onto her legs and put up a hand before she motioned for them all to be quiet. Taking off the box, she held it to the woman. "Madame... would you be so kind as to open this for me?" She asked as kindly as she could in her annoyed and distraught state. She had no idea why they were suddenly running into all of these people that were potential candidates for the Tarot, but she wouldn't fight it if that's what Fate had in store for them. The thin layer of fabric that covered her left eye seemed to have an emerald glow behind it where her pupil would be, but it was hardly noticeable in the long-run. "I believe that Fate meant for us to meet you here."
I wrote that at like two in the morning. XDD
I have no idea what I'm doing. *derp de herp*
Of course.
What is the name of your character?
Aerilyn nodded to Core, Beau, and Phil as they decided that it would be the best to start making their way to Riverdale. With a lighter feeling in her heart, Aerilyn started down the path with the others, making sure that she was spaced a little ways away from the group so that they could spread easily without being out of each other's sights. So far, everything seemed like it was going to turn out alright--at least the journey there. But that lovely thought was quickly ripped and thrown into the air like party confetti when a scouting party had spotted the group of Hygrons. Well, this is going to be just peachy, like a short vacation... She thought miserably as she dove the opposite way of Cora. It would be best if they noticed only Beau, who thought that it would be best to take them on headfirst.

If this scouting party doesn't return within their regular time limit, the Vygorns are going to note that and assume that there's more of a threat than the monstrosities of the wild... They're going to assume that there would be at least one survivor to make it back and alert headquarters that there was an attack. They may even have locators on them now, which would lead them to this direct spot... Aerilyn thought within the blink of an eye. That's when it hit her... they would have to make it seem as if these scouts had made it back all in one piece. Luckily for them, there were five scouts. If there's four of us, then that would make for the perfect one to do all of the talking if we can convince him, with or without force, to take us to their headquarters... then we could proceed with the plan sooner rather than later... She knew that this would be the best plan if they didn't want the Haven to be located so soon. Somehow, I'm going to have to tell this to Cora and the others...

Just then, she leaped from her hiding place and attacked the other two that Beau had not gotten to yet, her form lithe and swift as a shadow. Then she blocked a kick from Beau to the last of the Vygorn scouts and put the man in a headlock that would choke him if he struggled more than he was. "We can use these guys. They are the key to getting to their base of operations." She quickly shouted at them. "We just need to make sure that handsome here understands how painful it would be to defy us." She tightened her grip on the man's throat as she grinned, almost looking as if she were enjoying seeing his struggle. "Isn't that right, bud? You may just end up like your friends there, only I'll hang you with your own intestines."
