The cafe employees(?) trembles in fear as they bowed in front of Yuri. At that moment, Adam had given up on everything. This is a farce indeed. He won't be surprised if there is a camera hiding somewhere. Feeling relaxed, and disappointed in the same time, Adam let out a collective sigh.

"I don't care anymore, just untie me now."

Adam purposely use the word "me" instead of "us", thinking the Yuri girl might also be part of this nonsense. But right before they about to answer, the exit door suddenly burst open, and enters a slim young up running in a hurry.

"Owner, bad news, Medusa.... she broke free!"

He reported. Medusa, certainly a familiar name, but only as a fictional character to Adam.
Apparently girls are better in this kind of situation, well, at least this girl in particular. While clearly being surprised, her excitement was that of a teenage girl in a famous band concert. Well, at least the "teenage girl" part is true. Adam meanwhile stay silent, trying to observe the situation in hand. To say the least, they were kidnapped by these mysterious fella for unknown reason. Trying to tickle their patience might be a unwise move to make.

"......"

Actually, no need to worry about that. If that was indeed the case, this Yuri girl had already set her foot on a landmine. The robed group then direct their attention towards the book that fell from Yuri's pocket. One of them pick up the book and read it.

"......!"

Adam was completely clueless of what written in the book, but he pretty convinced that it's hardly decent by any means. But the robed group's reaction state otherwise. However Adam couldn't read their face due to their hoods hiding their face. "Could it be she" "But isn't she" "Isn't she just a legend?" "No, no, that is..." clear enough they start whispering to each other. Luckily it didn't took long for them to conclude their discussion.

*woosh*

A strong gust of wind flutters, and the three robed people reveal their faces. Familiar faces to say the least. A fairly young girl wearing a cat-ear accessory, a emerald-eyed man, and a pink-haired woman. They were the Weise Katze employees. It was then, Adam open his mouth.

"Okay, what is this? Some kind of attraction for newcomers I suppose?"

That was the first thing that comes to mind. However, the three did not answer. Instead they were on the knee, bowing to them, or to be precise, to Yuri.

"We beg your forgiveness, Madam...--"

The next word coming out from their mouth was beyond what Adam could ever imagine. What the heck is this farce?, he shouted deep inside.
Adam silently listen to the chaotic story of a girl in front of him. Luckily or not, the girl was willing to cooperate with him in story-making, but her story was far beyond what he had expected. If this woman have a talent, "being full of surprises" should be one of them. Adam thought she would at least ask why he wanted to hear his story first, but she went straight telling about her delusions, as one will simply call it that.

Not just her stories, her behavior is beyond unpredictable. All of the sudden she grab his tie and pulled him down under the table. Really, I wanted to see the face of her parents, Adam thought for a moment. However, her stories, as cliched as it is, it still possess some short of novelty in it. Thinking as such, Adam pulled out his notebook and start taking notes.

After a while, Adam climb up to his seat and took another slip of his coffee. Magic cafe huh, his writer-soul start burning up. The talk continue, for most of the time Yuri-girl is the one who speak the most, but after finding the right time to speak, Adam took the initiative and start directing the conversation to his favor.

"A magician cafe huh. Sounds interesting. A Magician headquarters, disguising themselves as harmless cafe, but in fact they're group of magician came from other world. Indeed, this place are magical alright"

------------

*twitch*

The owner of Weiße Katze, Felicia Sandoval was enjoying her tranquil wiping freshly washed glasses and lined them on the counter. It was then she heard a quite intriguing conversation from her customers. It was a considerably young pair of guy and girl with the guy being slightly older than the girl. While the guy appear to be a first-comer, the girl meanwhile is a regular customer of the cafe.

Several seconds later, one of her employee, Allison Weaver, the cat-eared waitress approached her and whispered something to her.

This is not good, Felicia then raised both of her hand and...

*clap*

The entire cafe turned pure white in an instant.

------------

Adam didn't know what happened after that. He did recall he had a conversation with a girl named Yuri-something not long ago. His vision went blank for a moment, from pure white to pure black. As if all of his senses were cut, all Adam felt was emptiness. It's not warm nor cold, it just... blank. Like a pure void. That single moment of nothingness felt like eternity.

"U..gh... wa...t.. happened...?"

His mouth was dry, as if he hadn't drink anything for the entire day. It took him a while to notice that his wrist are tied together behind his back. To be precise, he is tied onto a chair, most likely the same one he sat on not long ago. After his eyes finally adapt to the new environment, what he sees are...

A group of people in robe.
Adam hadn't expect a company, much less such arrogant-sounding teenage girl. Considering how packed this cafe were, such event are given to say the less. However being yelled like this was not really what he had in mind.

"Adam Steven"

He shortly answered. As a fine young adult, Adam is more or less accustomed with human socialization. But as one can see, he seems to be in trouble commencing verbal interaction with her. As to calm down his nervousness, mostly due to shock, Adam took the first slip of the Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee he had just ordered. It tested quite smooth and mild it taste, it exhibits a bright and vibrant yet smooth acidity, a clean taste with virtually no bitterness, and a bold yet sparkling aroma with a profusion of floral notes and sweet herbal and nutty overtones.

"......"

There was a silent for a moment as he slowly drink his order. But as a grown man, Adam felt the responsibility to smooth this conversation, if one can call it that. As far as it goes, all he got was getting yelled for simply "being there". It seemed it won't work out that easily, at least from his perspective.

"Well, to put meaning to this interesting course of fate, I say pleasant to meet you."

A pause. Well, talking to stranger, a girl up to boot, was not that easy hurdle to pass. Adam tries his best to speak the lines he manage to recall from some novel he read not long ago.

"So, are you willing to spare some time telling me a story? I'm craving for some tales actually."

As awkward as it sound, it is his true desire. And from what he knows, girls love talking, so this is the best move he can manage.
Adam Steven, a young collage graduate. After nearly four years studying in collage, Adam had finally began to persuade his long-life goal to become a successful novel writer. One could say that he started pretty solid, but it turned out to be a slippery slope into becoming that one guy who question about his life every day, lamenting over his countless failures.

Today was just another day for Adam, looking for idea while stretching his head in front of his computer displaying nothing but empty sheet of Microsoft word document paper. Just last night, Adam received a call from his Editor-in-charge, informing him that this will be his last chance to get on his feet and produce a successful piece of work. Naturally, Adam is now on his pits end, unable to come out with anything worthy of readers' attention.

He had considered going outside, walking on a park, or maybe randomly stroll around the mall looking for inspiration. But none so far had actually help him in achieving so.

"........."

The dimly light room had became his nest for the entire week. He couldn't really recall the time when he go outside for some fresh air, actually. In matter of fact, all he remember of outside world was how the mini-market nearby his apartment is lacking variety of goods he's looking for.

His eyes feels heavy, and the smell of unwashed tableware he used for the past three days is simply unbearable. It was then Adam decided to finally break his shell and go outside.

---------------

Cloudless sky and crowded street. The heat of sun was enough to instantly squeeze sweats out of Adam, but the intensity of busy crowds on the street was amazing in this near-summer season. People go back and forth, left, right, up, and down. It might confuses newcomers, but it's a regular sight for the resident of this city. The shopping district of the city was even more chaotic, located right nearby the residential area and the station. It's a popular place for people to stop by and release some steam. Mostly visited by teenager at day, although trend tend to change from time to time.

Fortunately, Adam had already have a destination in mind. Not long ago, his Editor recommend him to go to a certain cafe in this shopping district. His Editor didn't really point out what makes the cafe so great, but it was enough to catch Adam's attention. Oddly named in Germany, the cafe is named Weiße Katze (Weiss Katze ; White Cat) but most people call it Wei, for whatever reason. Adam don't seem to keen about it.

Entertaining the second floor of the building, he finally arrive to the cafe and greeted by a waitress wearing cat-ear accessory. Fortunately or not, she did not end her sentence with cat-like suffix. At least that somewhat explain the "cat" part of their name. While clearly taken aback by the odd welcome, Adam actually pretty impressed by the interior of the cafe. The wall is lightly colored in blue color, perfect for relaxation. Most furniture inside the cafe appear to be made of wood and crafted nicely with edge-less corners. And most of all, air conditioner. Truly the gem of modern technology he wanted to say, but he simply keep the idea deep beneath his delighted expression.

"What is your order, dear customer?"

The cat-eared waitress politely ask as she pass the menu to Adam. Waitress or maid, I wonder he thought for a moment there.

"A cup of coffee as starter I suppose, Blue Mountain"

"One Blue Mountain, coming right up"

The waitress respond and hurriedly return to the counter where she repeat the order she just received.

While waiting for his order to arrive, Adam decides to scroll his eyes around the cafe, in look for some interesting fella. First of all, the cafe is pretty crowded, as expected from famous place to say the least. Some notable individuals in the cafe includes a fairly-young woman wearing a suit, drinking her cup of coffee alongside a plate of pancake while diligently write on her laptop with one hand. Pretty unusual sight to see in place such as this. The other notable individual meanwhile is a guy wearing a leather jacket sloppily trying to find a nice comfortable position to sit while appear to be waiting for his order to arrive.

Interesting cafe, Adam simply thought that time.
Well, we can start any moment now.

I didn't took long for Arl to finish his food fest and celebrate in joy. He ate nearly dozen serve of food and now delightfully rub his stomach. According to what Mirfi said earlier, they need to protect the field on southern hill for three days so it means their job already begin.

"Well then, should we go" said Arl. The two other party member were waiting for them.

Kastra is a prosperous and considerably a big town that provide you with anything you can ask for. The location itself is pretty strategic, not under the rule of any kingdoms and serve as gateway town for those who want to visit other kingdom. The town massive growth for the past four years is thanks to no other than the manager of the Demon-Den restaurant, Gin. However despite his big fame as the ruler of this town, no one know his past. What he used to be or where he was born. But regardless, everyone in the town respect, fear, and love him.

Just recently carriage service have been implemented, allowing more foreign traveler to visit the city. The newly discovered dungeon also attract many brave adventurer to come here and challenge it.

"I don't see a reason to be in a hurry. The paper said the southern hill place is close, I think. So I suppose we can enjoy this town more, I personally would like to see what food this town has to offer"
Well then we have two option: Go straight to southern hill or investigate the town more. When interacting with NPCs (town resident), I'll will write respond accordingly.
