So in other words, Silias had ended up in the 'miscellaneous' section. He supposed that, all things considered, it was probably for the better that he hadn't gotten assigned to an illusion-centric mentor.

Indeed, there was one thing in her opening monologue that he found particularly interesting.

He capitalized on the pause to get the Rune Weaver's attention. "You mentioned a powerful illusion over the ocean between this continent and your homeland. If it truly does appear as the edge of the world, then how did you manage to arrive at the Arcanium?"

It's an advanced race I made using the Pathfinder race building guide. They come with 2 natural weapons and a small regeneration based off of thier Constitution score and nutrient supply. I'm hoping to combine that with a psion class for this game if I'm allowed.@Spirit

...y'know, to be fully honest, psions have never actually come up in our discussions of his Lore. And to be clear, I'm talking about my personal discussions with the man here, not the stuff on this thread (though technically those overlap).

Be that uncertain status as it may, I'm a little curious as to what you mean by "natural weapons." Like along the lines of 'poisonous blood', or like 'able to wield swords and axes?' Also, note that this RP doesn't deal so much in 'hard stats' so much as 'general estimates.' For instance, my PC's mental fortitude is most likely to be matched or bested by Rune's, but my same PC's mental fortitude is higher than Kyvir's. [In other words, I can mind screw with the Teifling, but the High Elf is probably going to No Sell it and kick my PC's ass.]

Tl;dr, we don't do dice rolls.

...at least, to my knowledge it's not really required for the most part, if ever.

To my knowledge, it's merely going slower right now.

I'm not a DM, but I for one would like to know why you want to play a "custom race" as opposed to one of the existing ones. And, perhaps, what kind of character you were hoping to make.

Now for the formatting tip of the day: If you look at the @ button in the reply box, you can plug in the username of the person you want to get the attention of - say, one of the GMs listed at the top of the page and with little GM corner things on the top right of their posts.

Now considerably drier than before, Silias entered the Rune Weaver's classroom without further mishaps. He had, after consulting the clock, managed to take several moments before class began in order to blot-dry the book that had been caught in Viola's crossfire. Or, given the nature of the incident, was the term for that cross-flood?

Bah. He could worry about the proper terminology later - he was here to learn about more than mere semantics. In any case, he had decided to leave that particular tome in his room for safe-keeping.

Considering the room for a moment, he decided to sit down near the middle section of the student area.
