Maiden of Love — Roleplayer Guild

The sound of a gunshot rang in her ears, the world seeming to move in slow motion as she fell. She could see him running to her side, blood pouring from her neck. Quickly he took of his shirt, shouting and yelling until someone finally found them in that dingy alley they had used as a short cut. “P-Please hold on...” He had pleaded, tears streaming down his face. The blood loss was too much, her eyes fluttering as she tried desperately to look straight at him. The world was blurry, her heart pounding away as she struggled to lift her hand to hi face. “I-“ She struggled to say the words, three words that she had always been reluctant to say but now needed to be said before she passed on to the next life awaiting her. But her eyes glazed over before she could, her bloody hand dropping to her side as he screamed in anguish holding her to him rocking back and forth as the ambulance finally arrived. 

With a gasp the girl sprung back to life, seeing only for a moment a white room filled with doctors and surgeons before collapsing back into darkness. Within the darkness she could her crying, a soft sob from what seemed so close yet so far away. At first she slowly followed the sound but soon began to run, faster and faster until she saw a blinding white late up ahead. Racing towards it with all her might she opened her eyes, hearing the soft beat of the heart monitor. Suddenly she found herself being hugged by someone, her eyes growing wide as she weakly shoved him off her. “W-What the hell? Who the hell are you?” She questioned, hearing the man weakly laugh but soon he realized she wasn’t joking. “You... you don’t remember me?” He asked, seeing her shake her head no. This was to be the beginning of a long journey to become untrapped from her memory.

So that’s the idea of the story, him helping her to regain her memories not only for her but to figure out why she was shot that night. We can discuss the finer details if you’re interested because the extent of her memory loss isn’t solid and neither is the reason why she was shot.
