BioHazard, have you seen Redial? I just watched it like a couple of hours ago! I love Yuki and Yuno's relationship!! It's so warped but so sweet at the same time.Which leads me to my next point! We need lot's of doomed romance. Unfortunately Gold is too old for most of the girls and Akira wants to annihilate everyone so she's unavailable. This means I'll have to live vicariously through another pair. Personally, I'm rooting for Hikaru and Marina because they're both suitably creepy enough for one another, haha. In a good way.

Yeah, it's actually really good. Just that I suggest you watch first the /stay night, 'cause if you watch first /Zero, the other one won't live up to your expectations. :P At least that's what happened to me.

.-. Well, there's the Fate series which are kinda similar, like in the part in which they need to kill each other, but with a lot more magic and heroical figures involved. :P

Just abilities and with only basic training for survival, since it is expected that after your period in the RMDW ends you'll join the military. You'll know how to handle a knife and how not to starve to death if you ever find yourself lost, maybe even how to handle a handgun. Some basic martial arts too, but only the most basic techniques (Punches, kicks and a judo throw to help you in battle).

Not a real need of 1 year in RMDW, you can be half assed and leave right after it starts xD. Or make yourself some kind of connection that helped you enter the IK and enter the RMDW right off the bat. :P Or cause some ruckus with your ability and discover the thing accidentally (Thanks to SD), you joined because you feared for your life, after a year, you quit. Something of the sorts if you want your character to have 16.

He probably fits, 'cause, while as of right now his power isn't as powerful as the name makes it sound, it can still become rather dangerous if trained. So yeah, I think your SD guy fits. Yep, coming of age is when you turn 16 and have had one year in the IK to prove your worth as a Kaijutsin. Well, yeah, distorting time and space is mainly what your ability is, just try not to go overboard about it.
