People with a heavier connection to the spiritual world have always roamed between normal people, but for most of them, they were all just product of fairy tails and stories that passed on from parent to children. Just, myths. People like this lived completely shrouded by shadows to avoid normal people from discovering them and misusing their powers. There were three rival clans and they called themselves 'Connecters'. Or so the myth says.
However, this people are very real and it was not until 2020 that their existence became public, due to an incident that happened in various countries of Europe, when some madman and its clan tried to absorb all the spiritual power in earth. His plans met a quick end, though. The 3 clans of the now exposed underworld of spirits fought against them and the victory was quickly obtained. This fourth clan disappeared from existence after what media decided to call "The Great Spirit War", which also made most regular humans wary of them and their over destructive powers.
Political conflicts started, mostly because many of these new-found 'wizards' could have benefited humanity greatly if Connecters just had exposed themselves earlier. Arguing continued for half a century and many problems arose due to this. World War 3 was something imminent, but before this came to happen, the most wise of the three remaining clans, the Nesterov, decided that it would be best to distance themselves from humans and started living on their own.
Some would think this was about to be the trial of a lifetime, but using their spiritual powers it was an easy thing. The Nesterov are known for their adept use of magic and with it, they raised a new island in which all Connecters could live peacefully and away from their former government's claws.
Even though the clans are rivals, they did their best to try and get along and form a sustainable government and lifestyle for the new citizens of their newly made island, which they decided to name Lyranias.
They settled quite nicely in the island and their government became quite efficient. Their society prospered in the coming years. However, as rival clans that they are, relations between them continue to be complicated and as of now it can be seen the great divisions that separate, every and each one of them taking care of something different in regards to the administration of the island. Every clan has control over one third of the island and frontiers are battled over constantly. However, the centre of the island has become a neutral part of the island place where tourists could spend their time. In the centre of the island the government and their headquarters are located.
Now, in the year 2110, Lyranias is already an accepted country by the UN and it also holds the most powerful army in the whole world. Not everyone agrees with them becoming quickly one of the world's potencies, but there isn't anything they can do about it. There are extremists who will still try and mess with Lyranias.
What is a Connecter?In relation to their powers and what they can do they have been defined as follow:
Connecter is a person who can take advantage of his link to the spiritual world and use it efficiently in practical appliances. Usually, people are connected to an spirit since the day they are born, kind of an horoscope, but this spirits are those that come from legends, myths and different beliefs and they count with different powers which can be used by their host. Even if everyone is connected to an spirit not anyone can use their powers as they are unable to communicate in whatever manner with their spirit. Also to be noted, this spirit and their powers can be used through the exchange of life force, since even without using the powers of the spirit it still leeches on their host life force. Connecters, however, use the term
Reiji or
Rei for it, to shorten it. This is the presumed cause of why people die of natural causes.
While using Connecter powers won't shorten your life span if you use way too much you may wind up dead in one day. Life force replenishes over the night after a good night's rest.
The kind of Connecter powers that are most known are:
Magic Connection or Mahozoku: If the spirit knew magic and spells, the user can use their known spells in battle or other practical usages. E.g. Thor's host would be able to launch lightning or fly.Weapon Connection or Bukizoku: This is a little more universal and does not only apply to one kind of spirit. The host can either turn the spirit into a weapon or, if the spirit owned weapons of any kind, they can summon those. E.g. The host of King Arthur would be able to summon Excalibur, whilst the host of Efreet would summon the spirit in weapon form.Summon Connection or Juzoku: The host of the spirit is able to summon the spirit in the physical world by feeding it continuous streams of life force. This is not only exhausting, but also dangerous, as well as very destructive. Also works to summon familiarsSoul Connection or Tamazoku: The host and the spirit do a fusion of sorts, combining both body and spirit and become a greater existence. This can only be activated by a short time and depends way too much on the physical prowess of the host. The most difficult and advanced of the Connector techniques.It is almost impossible to master all four types of Connection and mastering 3 is already an incredible thing. Most people can do just 2 Connections.
The Clans
One of the Co-founders of the island in the Southeast Asian Region and one of the eldest clans to exist in the Netherworld and once a mercenary clan that advanced into royalty in ancient times, butterfly is the symbol of their clan.They are hailed as Ice Denizens in the Netherworld to walk upon the Earth.Women were once dominant in ancient times and in modern world today, gender inequality is abolished and equality is made.Masters of the element ice(generally) water and wind are minor and might not even be learned at all.Descending from the Netherworld to the Human World, the Tsurara migrated in Japan to spread their dominance and gaining countless rival clans in the East Asian Region, fortunately they peacefully co-exist and be part of Japan, recognized as Ice Maidens.The clan are worshippers of the everlasting beautiful youkai, the Yuki Onna.The clan practices Buddhism and Shintoism.They are given authority powers as the Defensive Minister of Justice, Military and Police Powers.Notable Places on The IslandTsurara Clan District

The Alstreim clan was known for their military prowess in the ancient times of Britain. Many conquerors and soldiers of Great Britain were of Alstreim linage. In the island they control the Northwest side and their style of buildings resemble more Gothic styles from the ancient England. 
They are proud knights, who value honour over everything else. They still have a chauvinistic style of life, due to this their rivalry with the Tsurara clan has become stronger over the years.They are masters of steel and fire. Most fire Connecters in their clan usually are blacksmiths and things of the like.One of their best usages of the Connecter powers is the Weapon Connection, but they don't use it much since they'd rather use their personally forged weapons.One of their most valued heroes and someone who they live their life by is King Arthur Pendragon. A big statue of said king is erected in the middle of their city.They are the Judicial and Legislative Branches of the government, meaning that they are Judges for trials and that through them pass every law in need of approval.The Alstreim's in their majority are atheists, but those who do have a religion practice the Catholicism or Christianity.Notable Places in the IslandThe King Arthur Statue.

School of Advanced Swordsmanship. In this school, people can gain the official and noble status of knight, which only applies in Alstreim territory. There are many branches of this and all of them represent your level of power, while it doesn't hold any kind of nobility status outside Alstreim territory, knights are still feared in all other three parts of the island.
The knight ranks are:
Knight: Lowest in the order. In Alstreim territory and with such a rank you are often appointed as security for one of the landmarks.
Blood Knight: You have sworn with your blood to always hold up high the name of the Alstreim. Knights in this rank are usually part of the military.
Dawn Knight: Very skilled. Slicing enemies in two with a single move isn't something hard for you. Usually work as teachers in the school.
Dragon Knight: No one other than another Dragon Knight can put up to you. Usually work as bodyguards for the Alstreim's highest authority.
King Knight: The highest of ranks and ruler of the Alstreim territory. This rank is to be held by only one person, it is not inheritable and the holder is decided through a tournament between Dragon Knights. Only the strongest is to be accepted as the ruler and the current holder is Septimus Loghain Alstreim. He is part of parliament of the government and holds a high political position in the island as overall.
Center of Lyranias, Tourist and Neutral City, Utopia.While every other clan has a different style when talking of buildings and prefers to go with some more old fashioned buildings, Utopia is the complete opposite.
In Utopia can be found the government HQ and where the ruler of Lyranias lives. It is at the center of the city and it is also a great tourist attraction for people to visit.
As the headquarters of the government and centre of the island it also counts with an airport and is currently the only part on the island where planes and things of the like can land. It also is the place in where the biggest school for Connecters is located, while every clan has schools of their own this is the most recognized one.
The school is named Kaimei Gakuen. It has every grade of school you'll ever need to attend to.
The schools in Lyranias are almost the same as normal ones, with the exception of subjects related to the control and use of the children's powers being integrated in the studies plan. Grade and middle school are completely free of charge, from education to materials needed to study.
Utopia also counts with a theme parks, hotels, restaurants and many other attractions for tourists. While human tourists are accepted, to attain citizenship in Lyranias one
must be a Connecter. In Utopia, clan-less Connecters which may appear around the world are given free transportation from whatever part of the world they are in and a free home before establishing in the island and finding work.
The currency in Lyranias is the Lyra with a 1:1 policy.
Terms you need to know as a ConnecterKimera Tenma: Kimera Tenma is a terrorist organization which motto is: "We Take What We Want."
Mostly, low ranking members follow this thorough and steal left and right, always defending themselves with the fact that they are part of the organization, since the sole name strikes fear in many.
However, their real objective is unknown to most people except their 12 henchmen, who prefer to remain in anonymous. They are known to hunt people from all three clans. Every and each one of them is still running amok and they just keep amassing crimes.
Their twelve henchmen are known to be extremely powerful, since most of them could easily wipe out hordes of soldiers with just the swipe of their hands. Their leader is said to be someone dreadful and horrible in many ways, and he is also rumoured to be one of the infamous Soul Snatchers.
Soul Snatchers: A really strange condition which is said to be just a myth. Someone who has this condition has the ability to steal the spirit of someone else and make it their own. The method to accomplish this, however, varies from person to person. While for someone may be okay to just hug a person for a set amount of time, for someone else it might mean to make the other party fall completely in love with them or even proceed with the sexual intercourse.
After the history lesson for this RP, I want to welcome any interested parties and want them to have lots of fun RP'ing in this RP I and Haruna have worked so hard on, but first, some rules, so we can have a smooth ride and get along with each other.

For character creation, you are free to have as many characters you want, but if I or Haruna see that you can't handle things with the amount of characters in your hands, then we might or might not unexpectedly kill one of them. Be aware!
For spirits, I ask you not to have any kind of omnipotent, omniscient thing. If you want power, stick to gods of any kind of culture. Scratch that, now I say stick to lesser gods who can't literally destroy the universe by farting. Or something like that, anyways, don't go overboard.

The requirements, what makes an avenger?
The grim, volatile foe of the cast in the RP, who, through a series of inexplicable events up to and including attempted murder, gains grudging respect for said hero/heroine (and may even save them) and goes from intolerable ass to tolerable ass.
A female Tsurara who is 15 years of age, she vows revenge on Kimera Tenma for nearly destroying the Tsurara Clan, yes there are a few Tsurara clan members left but they are close in extinction, borderline to be honest.
As an avenger.
A great, horrific tragedy occurrs, in which that character could do nothing but sit there and watch. The psychological stress is such that it is all that the character can think about, and thus rectifying the wrong that occurred in their life becoming their driving force. Thus, your goal is to destroy Kimera Tenma, you don't care about what others think of you, you don't give shit about what they say. You're also the rival and the foil to others, you think you are better than everyone because you are from one of the elder clans in Lyranias, the Tsurara Clan. In addition, you only have one relevant family member that is there for you, the older sister, Sayaka Tsurara but she's not your target,she's a moral support.
Speaking of not wanting to piss someone off, you really don't want to be piss off, either. You're cold and intelligent, at least when you introduced. As an avenger you listen to Honor Before Reason, which makes you go head to head with others rather often. You're practically a walking encyclopedia, and it shows. Seven years ago the almost 75% members of the Tsurara Clan were wiped out , and you are the daughter of the Clan Leader. They were killed,raped and abducted only for their precious tear gems and blood, which you are now bent on getting back, those eyes that produces tear gems. You also intend to inflict justice on those who did it, the Kimera Tenma,

Battlewise/Smartwise, you are ahead of the others but not so ahead, they strive to surpass you, by definition on some Erza Scarlet type.
