No time skipping, this whole RP takes place in one day, even less, it takes place between 5PM and 4AM.
RIchard approached the hybrid car, the windshield was foggy, he couldn't make the figure behind the steering wheel. It seemed to struggle. Richard slowly moved to the driver's door and knocked on the window.

"Everything alright Ma'am, Sir," he asked to no answer but subtle groans. Then the figure behind the glass started banging its head against the window. Richard thought the driver might be suffocating or having some kind of seizure. He tried to open the door but it was locked, worrying the driver might get hurt he broke the window with the axe, making sure he didn't hit the driver.

The glass was shattered, and before him the sight of a ghoulish person froze the liquids in his spine. It was bleeding, and it looked devilish. He was taken aback. Holding his axe in a defensive manner.
Good, that gives me a chance to move Eric already.
When I first got into role playing I was most attracted to the concept of collaborative creative writing, where multiple writers work together to weave an interesting story through taking and playing roles of various characters. It was an amazing concept. But once I started RP'ing I noticed for years that a lot of players are just that, players, not writers.

Nothing gets on my nerve like when I or someone else starts an ambitious original RP with new and inspiring premise, and interesting characters and initial plots, then some player comes in and ruins it by mediocre writing and lack of creativity or originality.

God some awesome well written RPs are ruined by people with so uninspiring posts they seem more like chat logs than actual collaborative contribution. I believe that role plays should be held with high respect and regard as a form of literary medium, rather than a generic tool to be entertained with.

To say it bluntly, some people write like it was some low budget B-Movie. Which really kills the vibe and momentum of an enthusiastic group of writers.

I am just mad and ranting because I had it with lame let downs whenever a cool RP dies because of this. #Rant
I don't mind reading lengthy paragraphs, in fact I enjoy them, I just meant I hated it when some players have inconsistent writing styles or heavy and annoying grammar/spelling mistakes that cuts the enjoyment of reading.
Like I said the RP will take place years before the Grendel incident, we will be playing the numerous adventures Beowulf had before getting his Grendel feat.

I believe we will end the RP with the Grendel adventure where most of the players will be killed off, would be a nice way to end it.
Richard was out in the woods adjacent to the town, he was cutting wood the old fashioned way. He was almost done for the day before the sight of a car slowing down and stopping on the distant highway caught his attention. He was a good Samaritan most of the time, he held his axe sideways and wiped the sweat off his face.

He walked over to the Toyota Prius.
No problem folks, I'm not advancing anything major until almost everyone posts, take your time! :)

How do we know if we've been accepted, are all already accepted?

This is a free RP, so yeah by default you automatically get accepted if I don't comment otherwise.
