"Ah." The shinigami said, trying to stall for time. The silver god and Promised warriors? Jimmy's mind raced in a desperate dash for understanding but the finish line kept moving out of reach and eventually his mental legs got tired of sprinting. So he stopped and settled on keeping his face looking as neutral as he could get it while he read the missions on the bulletin board. He'd figure it out later, but for the moment it seemed best if he were to refrain from letting this Mr. Gold know exactly what was going on, or at least as far as what was the case with his 'warriors'.
"So when do we get started?" Jimmy said, as he looked through the papers trying to settle on a mission. The most appealing one involved crops and getting them out of the ground but there was a few problems with this. First he wasn't good with his hands, and secondly he'd already painted himself as something of a target in front of mr. Gold with the nervous remarks he made earlier and he got the feeling that it wouldn't be wise to get on the bad side of someone who could hold a debt against a silver god capable of granting them powers like the ones they now apparently had.
His eyes kept moving back and forth through the pages, desperately attempting to find something that wouldn't end with his head and his shoulders parting way because his neck had disappeared in a pile of blood. When he couldn't reason one of the remaining tasks to be safer than the other he quickly closed his eyes and picked one at random.
It The Princess protection one. Going against someone with magic did seem like a daunting task but if nothing else at least he'd be able to indulge in his white knight fetish and if nothing else maybe whatever came out of the treasure room would prove useful?
"Ah Mr. Gold, sir?" He said taking the page off the bulletin bored and showing it to the man in charge. "I think I'll do this one, or would that be a problem?"
