Current Just because you can have 36 attacks per turn that threaten a crit on a roll of 14+ doesn't mean it's worth doing.

Isn't it weird how you can start a private conversation with yourself?

"I don't think they are a threat to us..." Cyriana whispered and glanced at her two traveling companions. Without warning the elf straightened up and made her way back to the road. "Travelers, what news from the road?" She inquired in her most calm and polite tone while keeping her hands visible. "No need to be alarmed, me and my companions are not bandits or other such ruffians." She tilted her head slightly and gave the armed man a rather puzzled look. "You lot seem to be in some amount of distress. May we perhaps help you in some way?" After a brief pause she added "Who or what is this Laethros you mentioned?"
Cyriana moved nimbly after the man leading the horse. Despite her injuries and visible weariness the elf did not stumble on any roots or rocks. She dropped on a low crouch behind the thick growth and silently took a deep breath. "If there is need for self defense I'd humbly ask you to give me enough room." She whispered and smiled - it wasn't quite a cocky smile, but a smile of someone who has years of experience under their belt. "My condition is not quite as bad as it might seem." The frail elf added with another whisper while she fiddled around with the bandage that covered her left eye.
"I will not lie. Even this close to the properly patrolled roads I always feel a bit uneasy when I hear the sound of hooves." Cyriana stated politely as she stared towards the rough direction of the approaching riders. Her frail fingers brushed against the bandages that covered her left eye and seemed to gain if not strenght, then at least determination. "Best we be on our guard." The elf added more to herself than the two men accompanying her.
Shin was about to move and comfort Liang, but Li beat him to the punch. The waterbender had by now gathered his own composure enough to nod at the Avatar - as if telling him to take a good care of his friend - before turning on his heels. Judging by the direction the waterbender moved towards he went after the destructive firebender again.

Liang did not struggle as she was embraced, her ears heard two promises. Shen-Wu would pay and Li would help her stand. The former firebender wiped her eyes and steeled her resolve. For just a heartbeat she felt the familiar warmth inside her, but it was gone before she really could give it a thought. As the black haired woman turned on her heels to face the twin Avatars her golden eyes had a new kind of determined, cold look to them. "I'll go where you go. Lead the way, Avatars."
Liang felt quite relieved and glad that the possibly volatile situation had been defused. She politely took a few steps back to give the Avatars soem breathing room. Her hand was shaking slightly as she wondered how Shin and Gen were doing.

After a while Shin limped back to the area. His left cheek had a little burn on it - nothing too serious, but no doubt painful - and his right temple had a nasty gash on it. He seemed quite shaken and unnerved. "I... I think the firebender got away... G-gen went after him with a squad of metalbenders..." He shook his head absentmindedly and just stared to the distance.

Liang blinked her eyes in confusion and approached the waterbender. "W-what happened? Where's Gen?" Her eyes widened with fear as Shin shook his head "I... I don't know... I don't know if he made it out before the building we were in collapsed." The former firebender sat down on the ground and seemingly calmly held her head. "W-what do you mean 'you don't know if he got out'? Y-you were there... Wh-what do you mean?" Her voice was trembling, but still the black haire woman was keeping her composure admirably well.

"I don't know because the last thing I saw before Gen literally threw me out of a window was the firebender gloating." Shin admitted as he lowered his gaze to the ground. "I think... I... think Gen might be -" The handsome waterbender was cut off by a nasty glare from Liang. "Don't you dare to say that Shin Yu... Don't you dare to finish that sentence." The black haired woman was now back on her feet, few tears rolled down her cheeks and it sounded like she was close to reaching her breaking point.
Cyriana smiled a bit sheepishly as she followed afte the two men. "Oh, just a little bit of this and that - gold, some potions, clothes... Few other valuables..." Suddenly the elf began coughing rather violently and clutched her side with her properly working arm. The coughing fit lasted for nearly a minute and she actually spat few droplets of blood to the ground before straightening up and shaking her head like nothing had happened. "So not that much stuff really." She added and shrugged her shoulder.
I reeeally need to post OwO
I took the liberty of quickly posting again.
Liang took a deep breath. She wasn't quite sure how Li would react to what she was about to do - after all the Avatar State was the ultimate defensive measure. The black haired woman lowered her hand and very cautiously approached Li from behind. "Li, listen to me." Her voice was calm and kind - like that of an older sister that tried to comfort the younger offspring who were in trouble or in need of a hug. "For now you need to let it go and accept what has happened. No matter how horrible it feels." The former firebender pulled Li in to a very gentle one armed hug and closed her eyes - as if she was expecting to everything to end at the moment of contact. She didn't know why she was acting the way she was - taking in to consideration how scared she was, but it felt like the right thing to do. "Li... please..."
Ramia just glanced at James as he tossed the bandage to her and rolled her eyes. The bionic eye of hers was flickering weirdly - as if it had taken some damage - and she cursed under her breath since it's vision was getting blurry. Quickly the Halcyon General bandaged her head and cautiously got on her feet. "I need Belle's help... She can fix my eye... H-hopefully." The dark haired woman shook her ehad very cautiously and leaned against the wall. She was weary from the action of the past few hours and was in dire need of sleep - still the pain from her bionics would no doubt keep her awake.
