Knowing the time for action had come, Balathu grabbed his spear tightly and moved to the front lines. He moves until he stands next to his fellow armored warrior, Siris, as he pierces the sternum of the poor archer standing in front of him
Balathu moves 5 tiles to 20-9 and hits Kassite Hunter #8 for 16 damage, killing him.
With a hearty laugh, thinking his charm had already worked, Siris begins walking towards the man she pointed to as he raises his thumb towards Ninil.
Siris: "Consider him dead my lady! I shall return afterwards for my reward."
He says with a wink as he turns his eyes on the enemy.
However as soon as he does so he notices the sword she was talking about, it seemed sharp and lethal enough to stop Siris in his tracks for a moment. However it was just a moment as he reminded himself of his prize for victory, seeing his allies charge in he ran in after them.
As Lyun takes out an spear user next to the lethal swordwielder, Siris prepares himself to fell the dangerous enemy in one blow before... an arrow flies right into the enemy's skull and he falls forward.
Slowly turning his face he sees Zarif on his horse, looking mighty proud of himself for his aim. Siris gives him a deadpan look, trying to think of any justification for hitting a friendly. Unfortunately, being surrounded by other allies and enemies, the incredibly frustrated warrior had no choice but to accept it. Turning his gaze once again, he noticed a now defenseless archer.
With the fury of a thousand single man, he yelled and charged the poor archer who couldn't run away fast enough before having his skull split in two by Siris's blade.
Siris moves 5 tiles to 19-8 and kills Kassite Hunter #6.
While moving towards his destination, Siris spots 2 companions he recognized were part of the Hellions. One of which was a beauty who he however could not remember her name, not that that would ever stop him.
Slowing his pace down, he walks up next to the woman and taps her lightly with his shield hand before getting in front of her.
Siris: "Don’t worry, for I have arrived! I shall make quick work of this fodder and keep you safe.”
He says while putting on a smile, paying more attention to her than the nearby enemies.
Siris says while giving his ally a thumbs up as the nearby injured soldier falls.
Siris: "Now then, where should I go."
As the empty headed warrior considered his next move, he noticed a nearby archer in a tower with a severely bleeding Lyun keeping him from exiting. With a smile Siris jogs to Lyun and puts his hand on his shoulder.
Siris: "Don't worry friend, you've done enough! Allow me to take care of him."
Moving past his ally, Siris races up the spiraling wooden stars until he reaches the top. Upon seeing him, the archer lets loose several arrows which are either deflected by the shield or miss from the fear of imminent death.
The instant Siris reaches the top step, he raises his blade at the foe. A diagonal strike from the bowman's left shoulder to his right hip causes his enemy to fall to the floor bleeding. Looking around now that he had the height advantage, Siris spots what seemed to be the most central and guarded part of the city. His curiosity getting the better of him, he runs down the stairs. While going down, something unforseen happened, Siris had a thought.
Siris: "Hmmmmm, am I sure that attack killed him?"
Soon as he reaches the bottom however, he sees his young ally Etor coming towards him.
Siris: "Ah, Etor! The solution to my problem, be a pal and make sure the archer up top is dead will you! Counting on ya!!"
And without waiting for a response he turns to continue on his way-
Siris moves 5 tiles to 20-22 He attacks and deals 13 damage to Kassite Hunter 5. Siris levels up!
Watching his enemy fall before him, Siris felt a slight tinge of annoyance at the fact his enemy was taken from him. However, even he knew in the middle of a battlefield one should never oppose assistance from an ally.
With a quick look to Zarif, he nods his head in approval before looking around him. Immediately he sees 3 allies arriving on horseback coming to their aid.
Siris: "CHARGE!"
He says more to himself than his allies. Siris runs towards the gate right as Makeen causes it to fall, where he finds 2 enemies in front of him and Makeen.
Siris: "I shall take the closer one!"
The spearman, who seemed initially distracted, turned to look at Siris and raised his spear to attempt to keep him at bay. The hard headed warrior, without nearly enough caution, raises his shield which deflects the spear enough to avoid his body.
After shortening the distance, Siris makes quick work of the spearman before he could retreat using a downward stab through the neck.
Eyeing his next opponent, he had an axe embedded in him. Turning to see the culprit, Siris finds a familiar face.
Siris: "Oh Lyun! There you are! I was wondering where you went!"
He says this as the enemy launches his own axe at Lyun, badly wounding the warrior.
Siris moves 4 tiles to 18-25 and switches to Bronze Shortsword. He attacks and deals 12 damage to Kassite Rebel 6-2, killing him.
Looking at the previous opponent he had attacked, it had seemed Siris's previous attack wasn't enough to kill him outright, luckily his ally Ausür made sure to finish the job. After taking a split second to mentally praise himself for his strategic expertise, Siris once again focused on the battlefield.
Two spearmen were rushing both himself and Makeen.
Siris: "Two huh? I can handle this, stay back Makeen!"
Eager to finally try out his new weapon, Siris puts his shortsword away and pulls out his throwing knives. He runs inbetween the two spear-users, but not close enough that either of the two could reach him. Grabbing one of his throwing knives by the blade, Siris aims and flings the dagger causing it to enter deep into the rebel's left shoulder.
Siris: "Damn! Kind of lacking in stopping power though."
Siris moves 4 tiles to 18-29 and switches to Bronze Throwing Knives. He attacks and deals 12 damage to Kassite Rebel 4
The first man to approach Siris was one of their spear bearers, with a smile the warrior charges straight the enemy.
Siris: "Spears beat swords in range, I'll rush him before he has time to react"
As Siris was about to attack his foe, he hears a noise coming from behind him. Turning his head he sees one of the other enemies had flanked him, his axe already flying through the sky in an attempt to hit Siris in the back.
The armored warrior, not one to rely solely on his armor, jammed his foot into the ground to stop himself from approaching the spear fighter any further. He was moving too fast to stop, causing him to slide forward, but it gave him enough strength to be able to arch his back enough to barely dodge the handaxe that flied right by him.
Before he could straighten himself, Siris felt a sharp pain at his side. The spear had been partially deflected by his armor, enough to avoid a lethal blow but not enough to avoid a large gash on the left side of his waist.
Siris:"Urgh!!"
Acting on reflex, Siris grabbed the spear with his shield hand before it could be pulled back for another attack.
Siris:"Try one of mine!"
Swinging in a large arc, Siris slashed the spearbearer all the way from his left hip to the top of his right shoulder.
Siris: "Not sure if that's enough to take him out but I've got another problem to deal with"
Letting go of the spear, the armored warrior turns and begins running towards the man who had previously tried to attack him. The axe bearer was grabbing his secondary axe for another attack but Siris was much too fast, immediately slashing him horizzontally cutting deep into his chest and partially into both his arms.
Siris: "Tsk, too shallow "
The axe bearer, strong of both body and mind, immediately re-composed himself to counter attack the armored mercenary in front of him. As he did so, Siris saw a familiar shape behind his enemy.
Siris:"I'll leave the rest to you!" he shouts with his signature overconfident smile. The wounded axe bearer's attack is quickly parried with Siris's shield, who speedily follows his parry with a kick to the midsection causing his enemy to slightly stumbled back
Siris moves 3 tiles to 17-32. He attacks and deals 15 damage to Kassite Brigand 3, he dodges the counter attack
