Looking to start a DnD 5e campaign

I love Idea #3! It would be an excellent way to build up the characters' relationships from the immediate beginning and give them cause to actually want to become a group.

@Polyphemus New to the site, but I find this idea FASCINATING. I was tossing around the idea of a single mom who was born into the business. She fell in love and decided to "get out", but the man she was with crossed her too many times. Now she's "divorced" and back to her old ways.

I will probably be tweaking that general idea while I work on a character sheet, but I would love to know if you would like that direction or think I should go somewhere else.

Hi, how's it going? I am truly terrible at introduction posts. I realize that -most- people don't read these (myself included), but it's always important to make a good first impression. Please call me Marki! :) I am 27 years old and currently work as a Social Worker through the Head Start program. For anyone who doesn't know what that is, I work with around 62 children between the ages of 3-5, as well as their families. It's always a hectic day and I've been looking for something to help "take the edge off."

I have been writing since I was 9 years old and roleplaying via paper/pencil since I was 10. It has been years since I've written anything officially but lately, I've noticed that my creative juices have been wanting to flow again. So here I am on Roleplayer Guild. :) When it comes to writing, I really enjoy fantasy. I am a huge Dungeons & Dragons / Pathfinder nerd. I am currently running two of my own games and I am a player in two others. My life outside of work is spent mostly in a fantasy setting. That being said, I do also enjoy realism, grit, and romance. I'm a sucker for a good story that brings my empathy to the forefront.

So, I suppose that will be all about me. If anyone is interested in shooting me a message or even asking me questions, I am up for it! Thanks for your time. :)
