Great. *evil grin.*
@Cyclone

Is cold stare by the knight and the water mages? I think I'm lost. Wandering around killing random villagers will do that.
The guard leader continued to stand and spoke as he folded his well muscled arms. "Well, it could be that simple. It would explain the increase in activity. I don't have any electronic surveillance equipment to listen in on his goings on. One thing I cant stand besides trying to be stabbed is a mole in my op. I don't have the authority to force him out but I can make his life hard as hell. I need some money to buy more gear and I want the authority to use it." Amanda nodded silently.

"Now that's done and we have a lead I need to speak to you in private." She walks out and holds the door for you to follow. Amanda leads you to your room and closes the door once you both are in. "So what is this about a necklace? Why do you think Frank would care? Anyone would want you dead but few in the family have the stomach for it. Not to mention the desire to part with money to make it happen. They would have to be sure they would be able to legally obtain the family trust."
Before reaching the dining room you could smell the sweet aroma of breakfast. When you entered the dinning room you were not disappointed. The table was modestly full of food. Bread, ham, eggs, cheese, fruit, a pitcher of milk and a second pitcher of water. At the head of the table was a man covered in white fur with the head of a white tiger. He wore a simple shirt and clothes. The jewelry he wore was ornate. The smile he displayed when your eyes met gave you goosebumps. At the opposite end of the table from where he sat was set for you with a set of silverware and a silver plate. A gold ring was in the center of the plate.
That is an impressive list. *smiles* Is there one category that appeals to you more then the others?
Alright, after a long consideration I am opting to close this RP for now. I placed it up when I first joined the forum as a learning experience and it has been. I will be reworking it and starting it once again at a later time but I need to work the kinks out to make it a more enjoyable experience for all.

Till then - Toodles.

Edit: No I won't answer questions about it. Don't ask.

Sorry to read this. I was enjoying it. Please PM me if it ever gets back off the ground. =)
The day came as the others had with the sun rising bringing the light pouring trough the old buildings windows. This was obviously a office at one point but now the stacks of papers were rendered meaningless. The area you had taken an interest in was at one time called Los Angeles. Now a trading post. This was true for most cities the people that survived now scavenged the stuff people could still use. One of the items that traders sought in large supply was food. Farms were now a common sight on the outskirts of a large city. As were guns and people who fought to defend their food from raiders. So many cars were left by owners that were no longer counted among the living. The virus did it's work too well.

You stood up and looked out through the corner offices windows of a once William Baker executive. It was nice even with the thin layer of dust. The leather sofa and arm chair were sun bleached but still comfortable. A picture on his desk showed the trophy wife he would never return to. His secrete bar behind a panel in the wall was well stocked. What was a true treasure was the coffee you knew you could trade with. These offices always had some provisions left over. A good scrounger knew these hidden cashes while others went to the death traps of supermarkets. Some times the elevators worked but some people liked to sabotage them so the stairs were a safer bet. Most people wouldn't climb twelve flights just to get there hands on coffee but that's what made it a good choice for you.
The night was quiet and restful after your ordeal yesterday the large soft bed you had found was a small blessing. The bed was clean and had curtains you could close for privacy. As you rested on the pillows sleep came quickly. After a good nights rest and the sun pouring through the windows of the room you awoke lazily to find the previous day was not a dream. The magic bracelets still held your ankles but the tether was gone. You sat up to look at your surroundings.

There was a window and an assortment of wooden furniture to include a large standing wardrobe armoire. Inside the armoire were an assortment of common dresses in various colors. They looked to be the right size although slightly small at the waist. A large ornate floor rug lay flat in the room. By the bed a lantern was on the night stand but it was unusual it had no oil base no wick. It was glass in the shape of an oval with a four inch diameter. The glass was resting on a ornate wooden base. As you touched it a small light appears, touching it again extinguished the light from within. The scent of breakfast could be smelled through the door.

The night wore on and other then running across some wildlife that you would later eat the journey was dull. As the day aproached and the acursid sun reveild everything in its path your scout came running back. "Humans more then I have arrows. On horses with heavy armor." Seems the retched humans had the same idea as your leader but munch later they were a half day from the last recorded human lands and if they were this far out no reinforcements would come. Still a small band against heavy calvery was a game you just as soon avoid.
@Jangel13
The battle was indeed fierce. The smell of burning flesh and hair clung to your nose for the day. You took rest before making your way back to the tribe. This time you would be made a tribal member. You awoke the next night to make the long trip back. the air was cool and your nose had finally lost the scent of the fire. Crossing the river and over rolling hills you found the tribal marker.

Grull saw the head of grizzle and laughed. The other head he did not know but having killed the gnoll as well earned you more satus with the tribe. The night you were bathed in animal blood and given the name(you pick). You would soon learn that the tribe had more then one assassin and you were now one of its members. For now you wold go see the shaman as he had something to bestow upon you. The leader told you to rest and more dangers would come. You had to wait for the scouting parties to return with news. Your talents could not be randomly directed.
