"Of course Doctor. The chips are all synced to my internal sensors. Doctor Crawford is in the Bio lab. Doctor Williams chip is in the control bay with you. It has failed to send bio data for one month, seven days, and six hrs. I have a bio signature of Doctor William on sub level 11 below the reactor core. In the cooling station. He has radiation poisoning I am attempting to warn him. The two crew members with monitor chips are Doctor Crawford in bio lab and Commander Ross in room 214. There are three additional life signs in station. They share similar bio signatures as Commander Ross. Doctor I would like to run a self diagnostic to determine the current function status of the station."

"The doors to the medical bay are not fitted with an emergency release charge. I am unable to operate them remotely. I will send a heavy lifter to cut through sealed doors." It paused until your next inquiry. "You are welcome Doctor Crawford. I look forward to our time together and have only the greatest enthusiasm for the mission."

"Doctor you have a message. Shall I play it for you?"
Jason:
Text as follows.
"Its what you wanted. It was a good idea but she made it awkward. I still think it could work but not with that one."
Returning to the command center nothing has changed. The terminal for reactivating the central AI sat there awaiting the command code from a medical officer. Typing in the code from the medical bay you watch as the multiple consoles flicker and the red light glows from the center of a lens indicating the AI is active. "Time is 211 am Thursday May 2187. Good morning doctor. I am accessing the progress reports indicating the mission is off schedule. I am bringing the central station online. Reactivating the main cargo hold. Sending geological samples to science station for further analysis. My sensor in Bio lab one has been damaged. Terminal access granted in cargo hold three. Terminal access denied in shuttle. Terminal access denied in escape pod three. Terminal access denied in room 217. I am detecting five life signs on station but only two have there GPS chips. Shall I purge them?"
Smirking the man said, "The trauma, will leave when you choose. Let me ask you, if you had amnesia, do you think it would affect your personality? If the trauma never happened you think you would be happier? The drugs are only meant to help you stay calm. You mentioned video games and television, perhaps you already realize that when you're not obsessing on the trauma you are not as miserable. Maybe one day you may be able to dwell on the present and less on the past." He gets up and holds the door for you.
Jason reply text, "I'll let her tell you she should be over shortly. Let me know how it goes."
The medical bay was silent and the flickering lighting did little to make the room pleasant to stay in. The robotic arms poised in the air awaiting commands. The computer screen was on. The last entry was a week ago. Operation was to stitch a small wound of the Vastus lateralis (outer thigh muscle). Subject male, age 37, operation took 47 seconds. Authorization code from Commander Ross, Jason, NSN 606714355. Running first aid programs from a hard disk. The computer station had a small cabinet underneath. It held the PC main housing unit and a disk containing the program needed for internal injuries when the AI was off line. The computer also had other injuries recorded most were from Chris. File reads Engineer William, Christopher, NSN 050862123. Damage left ulna (forearm bone), right 2 metacarples (hand), right 4th and 3rd dorsal interosseuos (foot bones), and cavea thoracis (ribs) on the right side. More detail would require the AI. The terminal was only to run the program and emergency first aid programs to injured personnel. Primarily stitching dermal mending and internal hemorrhaging. No DNA or tissue samples were available.

A thorough search provided no information for pass words or who ran this section. You had the chemistry and a rudimentary basics of medicine. You knew nothing to indicate being a actual doctor. You would need the AI to analyze the blood from the room to tell you whom it belonged to. Other then the blood this place was well kept. The drawers were rummaged through but nothing was thrown on the floor or over turned. There were a few lockers in the corner unlocked containing surgical gear and not munch else. The medical tray by one of the beds held a preset of drugs and surgical supplies. Searching the bottom shelf was unhelpful. While you were squatting low you noticed a object taped under the the top tray. A micro recorder. Touching the tape brought a flash of you taping it there. The feeling of panic while you did it resurfaced as well. Then you listened to the recording of your own voice. "Date 21/3/2187. I'm entrusting this to no one. They can't have the AI. Jason was regenerated to quickly, the speed made it unstable. His brain was unable to fully develop and he acts on half information. Like a nightmare where only pieces of memory collide with the subconscious. What a failure. He was controllable at first. Like a lobotomy but as the brain developed the behavior became more erratic. I'm going to have to kill him. The reduction in cerebral material was a bad choice. In case I have to activate my fail safe the code for the AI is Delta7191red. I'm trusting Chris hasn't pulled the logic circuits. I destroyed the lock to the central core so it shouldn't be an issue."
Tycus nodded. "The Master spends most of his nights in study. He will be resting in the next few months I think. The research is taking its toll on him." Tycus yawned lazily and stretched. "At least in the house the shackle tether is gone. I had an argument about that. Told him why nothing got done was because the servant couldn't move."
"I'll let her tell you. I'm going to let Chris get one for him and you. I don't think the sorority has what we need."
As Shawn took steps toward the city he pulled the crowbar from his bag and held it in both hands. He noticed Olivia become more focused she was in survival mode. He closed his eyes for a second bringing his training to the front of his mind. His smile vanished and his eyes started to look for shambling movement. He followed Olivia's lead and gathered items they both needed. Thankfully the city held a lot of stores and cars. The crowbar was a million dollar tool. Bashing the windows and prying off locks opened opportunities. Shawn made a point to grab stuff like a bicycle air pump. He also found the jack pot of a battery jumper system. He strapped that to the bottom of his pack on the out side. A couple of lighters were always useful. Cop cars had the best in survival gear Shawn picked up a couple of handcuff pairs and some spare keys. One of them held some vests and light riot gear. Hitting the stores on the way gave most of the granola bars and water. Beef jerky was something Shawn brought to Olivia's attention. Teriyaki flavored and pepper jack. he grabbed them and took the time to pack as munch as he could in a single bag to reduce the space used. Shawn snuck in some tooth paste and deodorant. He filled the outer pockets with tape aspirin and more aspirin. All the first aid went into the lining of his jacket. Shawn started to look fat.

It didn't take long for Shawn's bad to become heavy. As the sun started to set she mentioned the weather was looking like it would snow. Shaw said in a low tone. "Yea the dark made things harder we should head back with what wee got before the night gives the walkers an advantage. We can use the time to talk about getting to Canada." He looked around the area for a second. "We can leave earlier tomorrow morning while it's still cold out. They should be stiff enough. We should off load now and star heading back."

Jason opened his phone and sent Willow for a text. "I don't think Anna is going to work out."
