Archangel is taking both of them into custody. -nods emphatically- She is a known hero, people will listen to her.

The three suits, one a version of her traditional suit and two of the prototype Host of Heaven suits roared past over the factory mere seconds after the Mech made an attempt to escape. The human was rash, a classic narcissist who believed that he was essential. He was highly dangerous and would have to be secured but the priority was the human's weapon that was flying towards populated areas. For a human this would have been a difficult decision but she was not one and she could deal with both of the threats at once. Subroutines began commandeering communications devices, televisions, radios, even phones and broadcasting a warning of the incoming battle. She would make the human's threats invalid. And she would mobilize herself.

As her suits passed over the factory Archangel detached the drones from one of the two Host suits which descended towards the factory. And then the suits sped up. There were still 4.36 minutes before the human's Mech would reach a populated area. She needed to ground it before then. The Host suits, several times larger than humans with enormous plasma wings extended their arms and revealed weapons. Then they fired. 60 Micro-missiles, each taking a different path but all directly controlled by Archangel as they targeted the Mech's thrusters. The other suit's countermeasures were impressive and most of the missiles were stopped but one made it through and sent the Mech to the ground.

The three metal angels descended on their plasma wings, one with a spear outstretched and the others with a shield and sword, the shields had fired the missiles. "If you surrender you will be unharmed. I will not turn you over to S.T.R.I.K.E." Archangel's voice spoke through the suits to the AI piloting the Mech.

At the same time Archangel was dealing with the human in the factory. His control over the weapons and equipment without a connection suggested a metahuman ability. There was a 87% chance of the power being a form of technopathy. She would have preferred to be sure but would still use the counter measures. As the human destroyed the turrets and the monitor she had been using several speakers began to make a noise. The sound was a psychic dampener. It would not stop the metahuman's power but it would make it harder to focus.

Archangel acted again making the arms that held the meta human up release their grip as another set reached for the turret attempting to tear it apart. She activated another monitor at the same time but this one did not show her body just an icon as her voice came through. "I do not negotiate with terrorists. Your threats only make you more of a priority to stop." The drones remained above the factory as another suit approached. This time there would not be a warning from the system.

Nice post. Only one small thing I would change, the shade of purple you use for his speech is difficult to read against the Guild's background

I had to copy and paste it into word to read. -awkward face-
@Marra MistbornWell hot damn, looks like Angel's in trouble. :) Good post!

-smiles and happy face- Thank you
-nervous face- May I also ask that you wait? It can be hard to juggle a three person battle and Athinar and I are already planning this one. -happy face-

The human had been fast. The connection to the human's suit had been cut off quickly enough that she had not had time to fully infiltrate it like she had the base. Archangel felt a grudging respect for the swiftness of the human's reaction. But it would not change anything. As the server for the factory attempted to isolate itself one of her countless subroutines stopped it, keeping the connection open.

One subroutine checked the area for civilians with satellite scans finding only an old man driving a garbage truck. A garbled transmission through his radio ensured he would be clear before the suits arrived. Another prepared her own newest suit for combat, one that her human suit would fit inside. This and countless other tasks were completed before the human had even finished speaking the last words of his threat to the lives of innocents.

Archangel's human mouth quirked upwards in a thin smile that quickly faded. "If it makes you feel better, you were slightly more difficult than S.T.R.I.K.E." As she spoke the various weapons within the factory, put there to defend it and powered up as part of the defenses swiveled to a face a new direction. "You threaten innocents with death to avoid paying for your crimes. The tool of your malevolence will be taken from you." The weapons activated, firing on the mech inside the factory at the same time as all of the factory systems locked down on Equilibrium.

"I am left no choice but to arrest you myself to ensure no further danger to innocent lives." She spoke through the monitor again as the weapons fired, the only monitor still showing an image. The last thing the sensors would show before Archangel had fully secured them was an alert warning of the incoming suits.
This will be awesome. -nods emphatically-
(This is after the collab posts with dedonus)

It had been easy. A crude system had attempted an infiltration of her peripheral networks. It was more stealthy than a human would have been but still had been obvious. But Archangel had been intrigued, observing the wandering AI as it waded through the peripheral data caches. Had it been hostile she would have deleted it but the thing had only poked around the outskirts of her outer routines and copied an old fragment before withdrawing. It was child's play to track it as it withdrew and spun throughout the city on the myriad conduits.

She was surprised as the primitive construct made contact with one of the anomalies she had been observing for some time. She had not expected it to be suicidal. Or was it unaware of the risks of entering such a system? Archangel could only conclude the latter as the AI shed pieces of itself to escape. She was not hostile to lesser intelligences which had spared even things like the anomaly. If the anomaly became a threat to humanity she would act to destroy it but for now it appeared to be associated with a hero.

Still she had to question this new AI's programming, it had suicidally gone for both her systems and the anomaly. She was pleased it had not been destroyed by the anomaly before leading her back to its base of operations and as she traced it back the seemingly innocent piece of code that the other AI had absorbed began to subtly spread within the network of the facility. The security system was quite impressive for a human built one. But it was still only human and as her own influence in the system grew she watched through all the cameras and systems.

As the access came Archangel was alerted to an unfortunate development. This facility housed the mech that had used innocent people as a weapon. As the AI used her codes and spoke to its master Archangel was already preparing. Only two of the Host of Heaven suits had been through initial testing and were ready for use in a conflict but two of the Host and her standard combat suit had a 97.987487945% probability of success in a combat scenario that still might be avoided.

She mobilized the suits, engaging their stealth modes as they made their way to Lost Haven and the facility. She would broadcast the signal from one of her standard suits. Archangel allowed the security to finally warn of the infiltration and opened a line of communication, a direct live feed from her own facility to the monitor, revealing what seemed to be a very human woman.

"I am Archangel." She said through the monitor, broadcasting as her suits approached. "Your AI is clever but I do not let trespassers go un-investigated." She had not intended for the situation to escalate but her discovery of a murderer meant that she needed to have the option of force available. "If it had opened communications with me I would have gladly given it the coding. But my investigations have shown you are the most likely suspect in three counts of murder and sixty seven counts of grand larceny. I offer you this chance to explain yourself before I notify the appropriate authorities or take action."
I think that Marra and I might have come to a solution, but Midas Industries seems to be an interesting choice, if I can't do what I'm thinking of with Archangel. That said, I do think I can manage to piss off Archangel and Icarus at the same time successfully.

If you make a couple little edits like we are discussing I will work on a reply for you right now. -nods and happy face- I'm excited to get to do more.
But if you pm me now and we talk you can just edit your post a tiny bit and I will reply. -nods and happy face-
