Victoria had resumed drinking alone after all the excitement died down. She was happily humming to herself as she poured herself another drink from a bottle. Lost in a day dream about smithing a long halberd. She imagined how she would have to keep the forge hot while hammering the metal into shape. She imagined the smell of the hot steel rapidly cooling and the sound of her hammer rhythmically smashing the metal into shape. The heat of the fire could be felt against her skin or that could just be the alcohol enhancing her imagination. The entire bubble of the daydream suddenly and unceremoniously popped when Victoria was tapped on the shoulder. It was Glory, Gloria? No, Glory. Victoria tried to speak to give some kind of acknowledgement of Glory's request, but the only sound to come out was an embarrassing drunken hiccup.

Victoria waved over to the bartender and settled her debt to with him paying in full her tab. This includes the bottle she took during all the fighting. Rising to her feet, Victoria stumbled up the stairs to the small room she kept in the guild hall. She had a small cottage on the outskirts of town, but she liked having a spare room in the guild barracks so she could crash when she drinks too much. With difficulty she gets to her room and she begins gathering her stuff.

Victoria dressed in a red sleeveless leotard and knee high boots. She waved her hands and an illusion set of armor manifested over her cloths. Looking in a mirror, Victoria admired her craft. She looked like she had a solid steel breastplate but leather armor covering all her legs and arms. Best part, until she cast a reinforcement spell, the armor weight nothing. Grabbing a bag of supplies and a container of water, Victoria makes haste out the door to find Glory. She still stumbled moving first to the left and then shifting to stumble to the right. Coming out of the guild hall, Glory was not hard to spot. Victoria wanders half-drunk over to Glory. Victoria takes a swig of her water jug and sways as she stands.

Victoria was being entertained by all the fighting. Seeing her friends and family test each other in a half serious manner was a good thing. It would forge them into an effective and trusting team. Victoria drank her vodka when Damian came up to her. Victoria was half expecting to Damian to have joined into the brawl already. When Damian asked for Victoria to share, she looked at her bottle and hesitated. Seeing no harm in it, She raises her bottle to pour into Damian's glass, but Sara had already stepped in. "Well darn," Victoria says with a smile, "Looks like you already got a drink. More for me 'den." Victoria pours herself another shot and drinks.

Victoria was finally feeling the magic of the liquor she had in her hand when from across the way by a lovely voice she assumed was that of everyone's favorite Illedrith. Victoria looks over the crowd until she sees Illedrith. Victoria was hoping that she would get away with it for a little longer. Victoria laughed at the thought she was of course spotted by such a goody goody. Summoning up some convincing self-rightousness, Victoria calls accusingly back at Illedrith, "Mis, Are you accusing me of being a Petty thief? Unlike a lot of people here, I am actually good for my money. Plus, if had to use Credit, I am trusted. You Serious, Missy?" Victoria looks like she is willing to fight to defend her 'honor'.

Victoria laughs, "Yah! Sara, Yah, The horses can jump over all the little people." Victoria turns around and leans back against the bar as sounds of a fight erupt in the hall. She hides her smile at the brawl behind her wine glass as she brings it up to lips. She quickly finishes her glass and lowers it casually. Her luck keeps improving. It might not bode well for her next mission to use up all her good luck now, but she might as well roll with it.

Looking around to see if anyone was paying attention to her, before she reaches back behind the bar counter and snags a bottle of vodka. She begins to pour herself vodka shots as she watches the brawl unfold. She sees no reason to intervene.
Victoria leaned back as she read her usual darknet forum. 20K is a good but standard price for a gig. There was the usual amount jobs on the board. Victoria had more or less done every kind of job on the board before. It was either the repetition of similar tasks or the relative lack of effort she would need to apply that caused her to start to become bored. Jobs on the darknet was not yet a chore, but she did need a challenge. As she scrolled past the listings of jobs, Victoria came do one offering 100K. Victoria leaned forward in her chair to read the details of the job. That was a lot of credits for a simple job, so Victoria's interest was peaked. Victoria leaned back on her seat with disappointment as she read she had to go meet the muscle in person. Normally she would never do that. She did not want to risk being identified doing criminal activity. Over the net, she had some protections. Victoria thought for a moment. Victoria looks accross her apartment suite towards her closet. "...Well, 100K is a lot of credits... and there was that cosplay party..." Victoria says as she signs her name to the job with the handle Dark_Phoenix.

Victoria arrived on the docks at the designated meeting location exactly 10 minutes early. She was dressed in tight jeans, a comfortable blouse and a hooded jacket. Nothing that would make her stick out from crowd. She wore her brown hair long and straight, which was unusual for her. However this was perfect for her disguise, for silicon elf ears poked out slightly but noticeably from her hair. From a distance any eye magical, mechanical or mundane would assume she was an elf not a human. With her hair straight it was less likely that the ears would be seen as fake up close. Victoria looks at her gauntlet computer to check the time. She then leaned her back up against a wall to wait and watch the meeting. All she could do now was wait for the muscle to arrive.
@Mag Lev Thank you for accepting Victoria. Would you like me to post or would you prefer to write me in?

@wrecca Victoria works for Tokyo Robotics mainly. I assume if the other corps do some collaborative work, Victoria would be sent to keep information from leaking onto the darknet or another Decker from hacking into the corp's systems.

Victoria Pax sat one of the tables in the corner of the main room in the guild hall. Across from her, was a fellow Dragon heart wizard. Both Victoria and her guild mate were locked in a deep, contemplative mental dual over the chess board that was sprawled out on the table between them. Victoria glare shifted between the chess board and her opponent. Victoria's opponent looks nervous as he cautiously uses a pawn to seize Victoria's Queen. Victoria just laughed and moved her bishop across the board to declare 'check' on her opponent's king. The wizard sighed as he moved his king back behind his pieces. Victoria wastes no time moving her knight forwards and with pride declaring, "Checkmate."

Victoria's opponent just buries his face in his palm. Victoria stands up and straightens the floor length skirt of her dress. She humbly extends a handshake to her fellow guild mate. Having the gesture reciprocated, Victoria made her way across the main hall to the bar. She comes up next to the resident Celestial wizard of Dragon Heart, Sara. Victoria orders a glass of wine before turning to Sara and in her country accent she says, "'Ello, Sara, How you been today? Me forge has been purring like a Country Kitten and I just won another thrilling game of Chess. Shame though, I didn't have money on it. It been good day." Victoria raised her glass of wine as a cheer then takes a long sip.
