Current "Doing your best" does not mean working yourself to the point of a mental breakdown. Its no longer your best at that point.

The word homeowner has the word "meow" in it. Good luck pronouncing it correctly ever again. You're welcome ^.^

When everything seems wrong...something goes right, and it changes darkness into light, and makes the shadows a little less daunting.

People cry, not because they are weak. It's because they've been strong for too long

the bad thing about being bullied is that every time it happens it steals a little piece of who you are if it happens enough little by little you become a little less of who you were meant to be.

thats the lighthouse... although light tower might be a better analogy.
mostly its about hitting the water. And, forgive me, I've only just finished the first game, the tube thing is inside the lighthouse, correct? so....seeing the struggle everyone was having... getting free... hitting the water and how terrible that is, the fear, the ability to not breath... finding the surface... shouting for help, for other survivors

and in theo's case, hoping he hadn't just killed his sister XD
Lupo Dio..

Callie leaned back on the bed, thoughtful, the laptop she was using on her legs, as she stretched out, notes spread over to show that she was doing some research. She figured that she needed to know truly what she was getting into… and the internet had some truly supernatural corners, if you knew where to look. Her book of shadows also helped her, and she had stumbled across the… name? Title? Of Lupo Dio.

Wolf god.

She wasn’t too sure if the source she was reading from was reliable, and yet… There was something to it, she thought… Maybe she should as Caius, once he came back. It would certainly be an interesting conversation, and… She wanted to ask him about what he had done, earlier. She sighed, glancing out the window at the lightening sky, more than a little trouble. She knew she shouldn’t worry about Caius, but she couldn’t help it. She sighed, and ran her hand through her hair, pushing her laptop onto the bed, she rose.

She padded towards the kitchen, opening the fridge, cupboards, anything, not sure what she was looking for, if she was looking for anything that was, before she moved around the apartment, filled with energy that she couldn’t seem to get rid off, going towards the window, and looking out. She saw nothing, and yet she couldn’t shake the feeling that she was being watched. More than a little unnerved, Callie walked around the apartment again, checking her potions and spells, walking around again. As the sky grew lighter and lighter, Callie decided that she couldn’t just stay in the apartment forever. She needed to find Caius and make sure that he was alright.

She armed herself with potions, and spells, draping charms about her person, and shoving potions into her satchel, and started out. She had a general idea of where Caius would be, and where she could look, and with her magic, she was sure that she could hunt him down. She stopped, muttering a few words, before continuing.

Callie studied Sombra for a moment or two, sighing softly. She knew she wasn’t in any position to offer advice, yet she knew that soon, there would be a lot of pain and suffering. And anger. There was always anger between Sombra and her mother. They simply couldn’t see how alike they were… or maybe they did, and that was the problem. Callie didn’t want to lose Sombra as a friend, it had been quite lonely, the last few years, without her and James. Oh, she would have been lost without Leo, but he wasn’t… wasn’t the same as Sombra and james. They’d been there for her, when she’d needed them… and she had missed her friends immensely. She didn’t want to do anything that would cause her to lose either of them as her friend, as her family, but…

Callie was always about the greater good. She’d sacrifice her happiness for others. Myra might act strong, behind that “i’m a bitch attitude”, she was just a mother, wanting to know her child was okay. Callie might not be able to understand the relationship between mother and child… but she knew that. So Callie watched Sombra, knowing her friends ways. While Sombra would think it was all a game, Myra wouldn’t. She nearly spoke up, but closed her mouth and nodded, glancing to Alexis. Now was not the time, there would be time, she hoped, later. Either way, she knew that when she left, Myra wouldn’t hold herself back, she would enter the inn.

”if you need anything, you know how to reach me” Callie said to both of them, watching Sombra head up the stairs, she turned to James, ”The back way would be best, I don’t imagine Myra has the best of intentions for you at the moment. And, you should try the hospital for your sister. A couple of the teens attacked were already supernaturals, and haven’t healed, she maybe visiting them” she said, before turning to Alexis, and give the girl a small smile.

”Well, it’s been a rather interesting morning, but we do need to get going now” she said softly, leaning down to pick up Tigress, giving the small orange cat a stroke, before putting her back down, ”go, make some mischief, cheeky thing” she said to the kitten, before looking back to Alexis, ”Are you ready?”

Cody

location Arons bedroom, Zoè’s house
interacting with: Aron @BlackPanther

Cody watched Aron, rather pleased that he was in a safe place. Cody would do what he could to make sure that it stayed that way. Moving across, he helped Aron to take out what was his stuff, pausing as Aron did without meaning to, watching as he changed shirts. He couldn’t seem to help it…. Aron was just so… gorgeous. So Cody watched as he changed shirts, appreciating Aron’s form, and still wondering how lucky he could be to have Aron. When the… show was over, Cody returned to getting things out, looking about, unsure where Aron wanted everything.

He looked over as Aron spoke, and smiled. He didn’t want Aron to ever doubt him, didn’t want him to ever forget that Cody was there, and fighting for him from every corner. The kiss on his forehead was all the more sweet, because he knew that Aron felt the same way about him. He reached out, letting his fingers trail against Aron as Aron went to get a few things for Gage, the simple contact making him feel more than happy. ”I’m not going to get hurt” he promised him in a soft voice, watching Aron move.

When he asked if he stil smelled like smoke, Cody walked over to him, taking Aron in his arms, and nuzzling Aron’s neck, inhaling his scent. There was still a hint of smoke there… and something else… a spice? Something sweet… ”mmmm” It was a rather pleasant scent, and for a moment couldn’t place it… ”A bit… but mostly you smell like Cinnamon rolls” he said, in a rather satisfied tone, ”smells good”

He was very reluctant to let Aron go, but he did, stepping back, with a little sheepish smile. ”So… “ he said softly, after a moment, ”Do you know that guy with Zoè? They seem familiar with each other, at least… “ But Cody was still a little bit worried… what if the guy was a bad person? Cody wanted to ensure that Aron was safe.
yeah, i know. i know its hard to write long post sometimes, but I know i've gotten better over the last year or so...

still, what he dd wasn't called for
ah... yeah... i don't know what got into him, he was a pretty decent guy and then.... that.
Slowly, in a steady trickle, Cody could feel his energy being sapped. He wasn't truly worried, as long as he had contact with light, he’d be fine. He wasn’t foolish, however, he knew that that meant one of the twins was attacking him in a vicious mental assault, and he turned his mind to that.

Light began to flow over his hand, in a thickening glove, before rolling into a ball. She’d be in the ground, her brother would make sure that she was safe. So he’d just have to go to her. He struggled against her mental assault, knowing that it was only his abilities that were keeping him from being ripped apart.

“Don’t make me do this” He whispered, before he slammed his fist into the ground, unleashing the stored up energy of the light, the power of it, into the ground. He did it again and again, tears stinging his eyes, as the pain grew steadily worse. He shook, shuddering against each impact, tears rolling down his cheeks freely after a moment.

He knew what he could do.. What he could do to put an end to this… but there were too many innocent people around… he couldn’t do it…

“Please… “

He continued his assault, knowing he would until his dying breath. Even if it was only a few seconds away.
