Current "Doing your best" does not mean working yourself to the point of a mental breakdown. Its no longer your best at that point.

The word homeowner has the word "meow" in it. Good luck pronouncing it correctly ever again. You're welcome ^.^

When everything seems wrong...something goes right, and it changes darkness into light, and makes the shadows a little less daunting.

People cry, not because they are weak. It's because they've been strong for too long

the bad thing about being bullied is that every time it happens it steals a little piece of who you are if it happens enough little by little you become a little less of who you were meant to be.

Penny was beginning to wonder why she had even come back. She’d wanted to see her family, yes, but so far… that wasn’t working out for her. The last two months hadn’t been good, and she suspected things weren’t going to get better. She sighed, closing her eyes, weary of it all. For a moment, she considered just leaving, and never returning. And then she thought on her responsibilities. Ariel… she couldn’t just leave the girl to fend for herself, to figure out everything about being a Phoenix by herself… she couldn’t leave jasmine either, the girl needed someone. She couldn’t abandon her, after everything. And she had S class duties, not that Mayt or Damien ever worried about that. Most of the S class duties fell on Penny, something she had long since gotten use to, even if she was weary of it.

She knew Mayt didn’t think he was worth the title of S class, and Damien always seemed to have something else going on, leaving her to pick up the slack, despite the fact she had other things going on.

For a moment, she very nearly let the tears that wanted to fall, fall, but she got a hold of herself. She drew in a breath, and opened her eyes, looking back to Jasmine and giving the girl what she hoped was a reassuring smile. ”No, it’s okay, Jasmine. You can stay. It’s not important. But seriously, are you okay?” she asked, knowing that she herself might be a mess, but that she couldn’t deny her responsibilities, and that Jasmine deserved the best of her, and not the worst.

Jamie

Jamie gave a small chuckle, ”Mere months ago, you wouldn’t even have had my last name, and yet you were still formal. I prefer Jamie, more than anything else, Sanders. But i know you are nothing if not formal, and structured” She shifted so she could see all her fellow Masters, looking to Fraquar as he spoke.

”Of co-” Jamie stopped, gaze serious as Fraquar finished, ”Amelia? What involves her?” she demanded, worriedly, fearful for her girls, needing to make sure that neither was in any danger first.

Sam

Sam smiled, and cupped the candy in her hands, making sure to say ”Thank you, sir” before letting Amelia lead her away, smiling at Elyse she held out her hands with the candy, smiling encouragingly at the other girl ”Want some?”

Callie knew that Claudia had been doing this a long time, yet the rush of the wind, the way it breezed past her ears, almost painful, and the motion of the wolf’s strides made her feel a little sick. She closed her eyes, and focused on breathing as the she-wolf ran, so she wouldn’t freak out. With her blood magic at work, Callie knew they were going in the right direction not that she doubted Claudia. It was nice having it confirmed, however.

She opened her eyes when Claudia began to slow down, narrowing them as she released there was something else going on here… her mind went back to where they had been attacked, the previous morning. If that witch had harmed Caius… Callie wouldn’t hold back. And it might be the first time she would even contemplate using black magic. For Caius, she would.

She lay a hand on Claudia's side when she growled, advising caution, but knowing she wouldn't listen to her. Still, it soothed Callie to know she wasn't alone. Right up until Claudia shook her off. Callie rolled into a somersault, and onto her feet, spells at the ready. As the man began to speak, Callie shifted, eyes narrowing once more.

Was it a trap? Callie wasn’t sure… but she had to know, had to make sure, that Caius was alright. So glancing to Claudia, she stepped forward, “Where is he?” She demanded.
Which leaves me taking over Karena. It maybe a couple of days for me as well, as I do have to get use to this character.
Cody

Location Zoe Flores’s house
Interaction with Aron (@BlackPanther)

Cody didn’t really know where the confidence came, with his behaviour towards Aron… he just couldn’t help it. Aron brought it out in him, and Cody smiled, watching him. All Cody wanted to do was soothe and care for Aron, ”He’ll sleep eventually” he said, concerned as well, but they couldn’t force Gage to sleep… hopefully he’d figure out he needed to look after himself, soon. ”you can’t force him to, but… we’ll see what we can do” he promised Aron.

He smiled at Aron, knowing that they really did have to be responsible, even if it was more fun to think on… other things. He watched Aron move to the door, hesitating. Aron seemed reluctant to go through the door, and Cody went to his side, taking his hand and giving it a squeeze, nodding. ”Just walking through” he said softly, then nodded, ”She wouldn’t let anything harm you, Aron… she seems a protective sort” he said, trying to be reassuring, wondering if there was something else they could do… some other way of getting out?

He glanced about the room, trying to think if there had been another way out when they had come in, but he’d been concerned with getting them both out of the awkward situation with Zoè and her guest. He gently tugged Aron back from the door, giving him a bright smile. ”it’s going to be okay, Aron… and if you are really worried, we could go out the window” he said, his tone more than serious.

He do anything for Aron, and if going out the window was better than going out via the stairs, than that’s what he’d do. He didn’t want Aron to be terrified. ”i won’t let anything hurt you” he promised once more.
i honestly had no idea when i first made luna that she'd turn out quite like she has XD
i wish it was longer, but a POST!

I had fun writing it ^.^
Luna didn't let fear rule her. She knew if she did, then that would be it. She wouldn't be able to continue, and she wouldn't be able to get Raymond and Juliette to safety. And it was that, beyond anything else, that kept er going, even as the room seemed to want to destroy them. She kept her gaze on the stairs and the others, keeping her breathing even, her mind focused on the one goal she had: Get to safety, and make sure everyone was okay. That was it. That was all she had to do.

Even if it seemed impossible, she was going to do it. If she didn’t survive… then so be it. She wasn’t in this to be a hero, she just wanted to make sure everyone else was safe, before she worried about herself. It was simply how Luna was. And nothing was going to change that. She was just too stubborn. As she continued to run, Luna watched Edward reach the stairs, help Collin up. "we're going to make it" She called to Edward, promising him, "It's going to be okay" her voice was calm, and clear, knowing that she needed to be, to help Edward calm himself, to keep Raymond calm, to give Juliette some semblance of security, and to keep Constance going.

And strangely enough, she was calm. The fear she thought was there, wasn’t. They would die, or they wouldn’t. Nothing would change it, but she could go to her death with dignity, instead of being afraid, and dying in fear. With that settled, Luna continued on towards the stairs, a small smile crossing her features.

She wouldn’t die alone, at least.

When Raymond stumbled, instead of continuing, like he told her to, Luna turned around, making sure he got back to his feet, she waited for him to catch up, before matching her stride to his. She was damn well going to make sure that he and Juliette got to relative safety. She judged the distance, and how high the step was, and she propelled herself into the air, gripping the stair edge, and without stopping to think, she pulled herself up, rolling over the edge, where she panted for a few seconds, before she scrambled to help get Juliette up.

She very nearly laughed, saying to Edward, “At least this time it’s not you we have to lift up, nor are we covered in water, and there’s no fire” She said, amusement dancing in her voice, as she reached for Juliette, “Come on Raymond, we have her, get up, and help us!” she said, wanting to make sure he got up as well.
