Oh, Skai. Sekvál is a Ju'yavāl word for the species. It's not necessarily the actual name for the species. Though it's entirely possible for Elyse to know that word if she had communicated with Shaso͞on at all during the attacks.

Roger dodger. I may just whip together an alt character in case the worst happens to Shaso͞on. It's also very possible for him to take an extended leave if he finds any leads on the being that caused him his suffering.
