Current Summer is awesome! And that's a big complement coming from a guy that hates hot weather.

NAME: Samson "Iron-Spear" of house Rosslen - a.k.a the "Gutter-Knight"

AGE: 20

HEIGHT: 5'11''

WEIGHT: 160 lbs.

BACKGROUND:

Samson was born to Sir Sam Rosslen, a noble in service to His Grace the King. After years of service in the city guard, he was given a small land and servants. As a son born in this noble house, Samson was given the proper education and martial training that was expected of a future soldier in service to the King. The Rosslen's weren't the wealthiest family, not by a long shot, but they never had to worry about having to do without.

House Rosslen's land were the plains, and supplied most of the kingdom with wheat and barley. Although they did raise livestock and horses, grain was their cash crop.

Samson excelled in his combat training, being a quick study and having a seemingly endless supply of enthusiasm. In truth, he just liked being outside and moving around. With all the schooling inside and endless hours of sitting in front of a boring old maester, he worked extra hard with his combat and horse-riding training in hopes that they would let him train outside more. And it worked. His father took noticed of his progress, devoting more time to hone and improve his son's talents in battle. Although the more boring lessons continued, they became less and less frequent as he grew older.

On his eighteenth year, the dragons came. They burnt everything, all the crops and the livestock. Samson was one of the few survivors. His house, his wealth, and everything he knew was now gone.

He became a beggar in the streets of the kingdom, as far as he knew this was only place left in the realm still standing. This was how he had gotten the nickname "the Gutter-Knight"; an inside joke between those who knew his past.

One day he heard the criers shouting the King's call-to-arms. It was then that he set out to serve the King, as his father once had, with a sense of purpose and hope for the future.

PERSONALITY/WHY YOU JOINED:

Samson was a proud and confident youth before all that he had was burned away in a plume of dragon's fire. Two years of being a homeless beggar had drastically humbled him. Just like the many codes of honor and conduct his father had taught him, the poor also had it's own code. Titles meant nothing on the cobbles, your parents meant nothing to those with nothing. Deeds were remembered among the beggars, and who you were only mattered if you were good company to be around.

Samson had evolved to become a kind and selfless person over the last two years. He shares more than he should with his fellow poor, and jumps in to defend them when attacked by those more fortunate. Having great skill in fighting, he has saved many of his friends from unfounded beatings from the city guards.

Having a new perspective on the world and people, and having lost everything, Samson always does what he feels is the right thing. Always willing to jump in and defend the weak and innocent not caring about his life. He is always optimistic and seemingly happy, knowing that everything can always be worse. If you can see past the rags he wears, you will find a good-hearted and fun person.

As a self-respecting fatass, I refuse to answer that question. The fact that you would ask me that question means that you are a professional torturer.

I know how hard it is to choose. My favorite food tends to change every few days.

OMG when I make tacos, I put everything in 'em. Refried beans, jalapenos, pace salsa, onions, that three-cheese mexican shredded cheese. It ends up exploding EVERWHERE ;_;

But it's so gud.

'Kay, I've added my character to the other tab, and also added a surname.

IT MEANS MOUNTAIN FALCON!

Did I just win the game?
Name: Hrolfr Bergfalk

Occupation: Hunter/Archer

Height: 6 ft

Weight: 190 lbs.

Appearance: Light blonde shoulder-length hair, with a beard just beginning to start on his face. His eyes are pale blue and his skin is pale. Broad shoulders and defined muscles, wearing furs and skins that he made himself. Has numerous tattoos of prayers dedicated to the gods, mostly on his torso and on his arms.

Background History: His family home is in Beornhall, but he and his father spent most their days camping in Kingswood just south of the town. Raised off the land, his had father taught everything he knew about hunting to Hrolfr. His father would often tell of Hrolfr's marksmanship, believing Ull himself aids in his kills. At least, that's how it was when he was a youth.

Hrolfr's mother had died when he was young, during childbirth. Hjori, the little brother Hrolfr would have had, also died. For years his father was devastated and had turned to drink, leaving him to fend for the family.

His sister Kelda lives in the family house in Beornhall. She helps with keeping up the house while he's gone, and crafting clothing and preparing the meat from their kills to sell at market. Despite still loving their father, both Kelda and Hrolfr have grown bitter towards him; rarely ever seeing him. He makes his ritualistic claim of the coin his children earn at the market to feed his thirst.

Unknown to their father, they had been putting away most of their earnings from the last season - claiming that Hrolfr's had bad luck in the Kingswood; planning to leave the village and their father behind one day and starting a new life.

Personality: Loves his family and has a dedication to the gods. Due to his skill with the bow, Hrolfr is convinced he was given a gift by the gods and seeks to find a sign for his purpose. He believes that life should made easy and simple, and just doesn't understand highborns.

He has always enjoyed the traveling bards that he's come across, and often daydreams of learning the music and all the stories in their trade. He always bugs his sister to sing when he's home, jealous of her talent at it
@Oak7ree

I've added some to the backstory of my character.
@Cyndyr

That is a work of fucking art, Cyn.

@MasterI don't care if you really adhere to the spear, I didn't think it was magical I am saying that it won't be and you'll be given something at my discretion. As for your characters father, Elder Guard fits nicely, there are magical beast in the land so he may have fought to protect them from one.

Cool! Thanks!

Sorry for the hassle :D
