Asha watched the proceedings with patience as a large portal opened behind her. A man with blue hair offered her a hand that she quickly took back to her own world. The large blue and gold world was the council chambers and to her surprise The Elder Council was already in session. The Key Lord and First Elder smiled at her unwaveringly "Fear not child I have begun preparations with Myria and she has agreed to put off our war until this new threat is handled." Asha could hear the spells already humming as the sky turned purple with energy. Myria to Asha's great surprise was sitting next to her sister in two newly added chairs.

It was foolish for Asha to assume a master of time would not already know of the threat. Asha not wanting to know didn't ask The Key lord if they'd win, but instead bowed heading to rally her fellow Whelp level brood and the army of Monsters Myria would provide. Asha beamed as she walked to the great forest happy that her friends would make there stand here. The council waited patiently for Oswald's emissary as Asha helped set up defenses. The forest monsters from werebears to harpies greeted her. The forest clan waiting with magic arrows ready for the coming invasion. Asha as the oldest quickly took charge of her forces having the Brood healers stay to heal and revive where they could leaving the heavy hitting to the newly reformed M.C. Tusk brigade. The three other elders moved to secure there own armies the forces being divided into whelp, dragon, behemoth, and Kaiser. The Key Lord and Myria waited in the council chambers the city of Gate flying in preparations for their counter attack.

Jenn and Mable made the preparations necessary taking the elite of Tavion's men while Steffon sent his youngest cousin a long letter. Jenn slept soundly that night while Mable poured over maps of the area wanting to learn something of where they were headed. While Mable was happy to be a knight for now it wouldn't hold her back from her true goal. Mable could almost feel the silk sheets of a noble's bed.

Steffon rode out to rally his soliders that night riding hard to the rivers to rally men. Steffon took half of his troops while still leaving Tavion enough to defend his territory. Tavion arrived around midnight sweating and tired having been requested to return immdeiatly. Tavion was astonished to be given temporary rule of the twins as Steffon beamed at him. The young Tavion had just that morning been scouting in the deep woods. Steffon smiled warmly at his cousin "just try to keep things orderly and if I perish be sure to check over my papers. It would do you well to see what my plans were." Steffon hugged his young cousin before riding out to Pinkmaiden still dressed in his armor from the battle sending a small elite group to join Mable. The people of Pinkmaiden woke to see a Frey host, but the lord had already sent word of what was happening. A brief exchange later STeffon's forces were ready to wait to join the army headed for the red mountains.

Mable stared out over the fields as rain started. The torrent was thrilling, but frightening returning her poor fletchling instead of forcing it to battle the storm. Mable saw the water bothering a few of the smaller bug pokemon. Mable had caused these poor pokemon enough trouble it was time to lend a hand. She ran quickly offering to carry a few pokemon into the shade of the forest. Mable's ankles were coated in mud as she spotted the few pokemon in need.

A small baby caterpie was having trouble in the mud trying to follow its older siblings. Mable smiled hurrying over to scoop up the small caterpie gently setting it on harder ground as it crawled away. The pokemon were also helping there friends using vines to move the younger pokemon into the shade of the trees. Mable could feel her jacket get muddy as she pulled a few more pokemon out of the mud. Mable kept a close eye on her belt to make sure her pokemon were okay. It took an hour or so until Mable was satisfied she'd helped as many as needed. She shut her eyes happy and muddy taking in a breath of relief. Mable smiled gently heading deeper into the forest a pair of floating red eyes watching her in the dark.
