History: He used to be a soldier in his youth he was quite skilled in lightning magic. He was the proud leader of his squad until a few incidents occurred. First was the loss of some of his friends from training camp. His only solace was in his lover, the leader of a squad that worked with his often. Her death in his arms was the last straw. He finally fell for the drivel that he was fed in training. "Mages are just tools of war. They aren't meant to feel or think just follow orders." And follow orders he did. He ended up raiding a town of innocents under his commanders orders. He even killed women and children. After that day he snapped out of it. Full of regret, he deserted the military. [He doesn't like to talk about his military life other than saying "I was a soldier" and nothing more]
After some time had passed he found a new life as a teacher. He taught students magic as well as opposing the brainwshing the military would spew out to them. While his students heed his every word, they aren't above pranking the poor man into next year.
While satisfied with his life as a teacher, he does miss the feeling of adventure the military gave him, and hopes opportunity comes a knockin'.
