More fighting? Emma watched the two boys showing off their magic, curious what they were going to do
Emma couldn't help but chuckle at the girl cat, or catgirl. She seemed super adorable.
"Hey, I know it's late but lessons start soon so you shouldn't nap" she said to the catgirl (@Abillioncats) before turning to see who was talking.
"I'm Emma. Hello. I uh...change sizes of things?"
Emma gave the boy that called over to her a small wave and smile, but she was clearly distracted by the...purring girl. She looked the other girl over, trying to work something out.
She sounds just like a cat. I wonder if she's half cat like that girl was half ghost or spirit?
Emma had started to browse the books when she heard a mention of classes starting. Now? But it was night! She sighed, stealthily shrinking the book she was holding and slipping it into her pocket before moving quickly out of the library and towards the classroom. Thankfully the class didn't seem to have started yet, so Emma quietly found herself a desk to sit at, noticing the girl next to her (@Abillioncats) seemed to be asleep?
Huh, guess others don't like this idea of night classes either! she smiled to herself, unshrinking the book she took and putting it onto her desk to read. It was a horror fiction book, going by the cover.
@digichiptune - perhaps it would be worth having your different characters posting in different colour text so it's easier to see who is who when you're posting?
Emma went quiet as everything sped up around her. She nodded to the people as they left, a kind of wave, and made her way to the dorm rooms. Locating her room, she slipped in and dropped her bag on the floor with a sigh.
These people are strange. Still, it beats prison...I think.
Then she heard a large bang coming from another building and shuddered.
As long as I don't have to fight anyone...
She collected some books, shrinking them down and placing them into her pockets, taking a few more minutes to calm herself before leaving and heading to the library. It was going to be quieter there, right?
I'm off for the night, will resume posting in the morning!
Emma turned to each person that spoke, and they kept talking about violence. Maybe this isn't too different from prison? That wasn't a comforting thought.
"um...is it always so violent here?"
Emma closed her eyes, taking a few deep breaths as she tried to calm herself. It's fine. They're not trying to kill you. It's fine. Calm down. It's fine. It's fine.
"I'm sorry. I came from a place that well...it sucked. I'm just a little jumpy" she opened her eyes, giving the one and half people (does a half-spirit person count as two people? Emma wasn't sure) a small smile before nodding to the other approaching boy.
"I'm Alic...Emma. I'm Emma" don't need to go as Alice ever again "nice...to meet you all."

Dead? Half Spirit? What? Emma looked confused, frowning more.
"So she's dead? I...how? That doesn't make AHHHHHH!" She suddenly screamed as a shadow suddenly flew at her.
