Sorry, yeah, we discussed it in PMs but neglected to notify anyone else.
The Cindorayi Republic, Population: 163, Year 22 IL, Age of the Quarter Moon

Around the town of Lunysvet now stood a six-foot wall of stone held together by fired glina. As a few builders placed the last stone into place from on top of an improvised scaffold, and the nearby Cindorayi cheered. Though the project was heavily experimental, and the wall was hardly an immense construction, it would provide a basis of knowledge for all future stone architectural projects, some already considering how a stone entranceway would be made.

In the village of Tyrnovuna, the closest to where Sonya's group and the Snow Brutes met, the two parties arrived. They would arrive upon the site of a small farming village with a cluster of around thirty houses surrounded by farms cultivated mostly with mifan (rice) but also other vegetables. There was also a small orchard of fruit trees. As the villages forty-two inhabitants emerged from their houses, Sonya began telling them about their meeting and the farmers offered them small gifts of mifan, various fruits, and meat. Sonya expressed to the Snow Brutes that a few villages lay down the road in the other direction, and named the various things that they were given, along with the houses, farms and tools in an effort to teach them the language.

Nadya carried around a few of the fabric-producing worms in their cocoons, trying to get someone to help her think of a way to detach the fabric without destroying it. As she passed by the cook, Artyomu, he said, "What is it that you have there?"

Reluctant to talk to the cook but desperate for help, Nadya approached. "This worm produces a beautiful and soft material, and I'm trying to figure out how to get it off delicately." Artyomu touched it and laughed. "You're ridiculous. There's no way you can just take this thing's cocoon. Way too delicate for you to remove by hand. The only thing this is useful for is eating." He tossed it into the clay pot in front of him filled with boiling water.

Nadya exclaimed in horror and tried to catch it, but was too late and it splashed down to the bottom. The cocoon, however, immediately began loosening and floated up to the top, leaving the worm at the bottom, at which both Artyomu and Nadya were dumbfounded. He blinked a few times, and said, "Well, I suppose you can have your fish and eat it too." He took two nearby wooden sticks, and maneuvering them picked up the silk cloth and placed it in Nadya's hands. She smiled, and dropped the remaining worms into the pot.

He won't be allowed into the meeting room. Like, seriously, how did he make it past security?

I sense some drama coming before talks are even underway! xD

That's fine haha. We'll just say he was outside for the festival, and will remain waiting outside. No need for drama.

When Helena approached, Yekaterina firmly shook her hand and watched as she did the same for the Elvish prime minister. She nodded at the Chancellor's proposal, and followed her inside, Nahku and Elena remaining outside to watch the rest of the festival.
changed post
Working on a post as we speak, and maps are going on the OP.

And it's done!

You may remember that in my original post I said there were three nomadic groups that departed from where the star fell. Well, we're about to see the final one show up, and it's not going to be pretty.

...

On an actually serious note, since Nahku followed Velikaya inside (Not sure why he'd even be allowed to be in there, but I'm not complaining) I'll have him sit there and muse to himself about the proceedings. If the topic of Tin just so happens to comes up, his silence might be broken in a rather showy manner.

I just had him there on the justification that Velikaya would always want him present and wouldn't agree to go anywhere otherwise. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.

That being said, also his commentary would be amusing and would likely give the Premier something to muse back about in addition to the main conversation.
@MihndarI have yet to read your post but there isn't any mention of the elves in it?
I mean I am right there but you haven't @mentioned me.

I performed no interaction with you, though I certainly commented on your presence.

Anything needs to be changed that wouldn't be in character or wouldn't be allowed, let me know.

Valkalia, Greater Republic of Avalia

At a desk, the Premier was writing a letter. "Hmph. If I had known I would be spending two days in a hotel, I would have arrived two days later."

Elena, the premier's secretary, replied "Of course, Premier Commissar. You are an extraordinarily busy person, and it is simply not right that they keep you here unnecessarily."

"It only goes to show that the Avalians have not yet quite dropped the pretense of decadence, I suppose. But it can't be helped." replied the Premier, as she signed the bottom of the letter and handed it to Elena for mailing back to the PRK.

There was suddenly a knock on the door.

"Madam Premier, the festival is now about to be underway." Yekaterina glanced at the clock, it was 12:15. "Your presence is requested in front of the Senate building. Oh, and the Prime Minister of Yllendthyr will be there as well."

The Premier grimaced, then quickly regained her composure. "Very well," she replied. Grabbing her hat, straightening her hair, and shaking her head at the thought of diplomatic congress with both an enemy and a friend, she strode out of the door.

---

The Premier watched the display of air superiority, and was quickly impressed. Her own nation's air force was mediocre at best, lacking proper airplanes and instead relying solely on airships. The maneuverability of these craft was a sight to behold. She slightly glared at the Prime Minister of Yllendthyr, almost too quickly to notice before gazing ahead again.

However, when it became obvious that the leading fighter was piloted by none other than the Chancellor herself, Premier Velikaya distinctly reevaluated her opinion, appreciative both of her flying ability and of the fact that she chose no formal or ceremonial way of entrance but instead flew in alongside her fellow Valkyeria. She politely applauded at Vortzeria's speech.

The Premier caught a whiff of spice, and instinctively smiled as she looked over at Nahku standing on her left, who spoke not a word but quite evidently radiated disapproval at the Chancellor's speech.

When Helena approached, Yekaterina firmly shook her hand and watched as she did the same for the Elvish prime minister. She nodded at the Chancellor's proposal, and followed her inside, Nahku and Elena remaining outside to watch the rest of the festival.
@MihndarShall I wait with that, then?
Reacting to you both may speed things up a bit.

I was planning on letting you start with that. It's not Velikaya's personality to jump headfirst into diplomacy, but rather to watch carefully and comment when needed. So go ahead. I'll reply to you both in a next post (or this one if you finish before me), which should be quite speedy in comparison since the rest of my week is free.

In all seriousness I'm almost finished my post.
