No, you get 300 bucks. As in, male deer.

That has to be worth more than $300, right?
This is all I had the creativity for at the moment.

Soviet Empire of Eurasia

What Areas Do You Control: Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan

Flag or Banner:

Political Parties: United Communist Party, Liberal Democratic Party (effectively neo-fascist), Just Russia Party (social democratic). The UCP has a considerable supermajority, followed by the LDP and JRP with small percentages.

Type of Government: Soviet Empire. The reigning monarch is Vyacheslav Putin, who possesses all of the standard executive powers of a president or prime minister, plus the ability to dissolve the Supreme Soviet and Politburo if necessary. The standard legislative and administrative functions are carried out by those two entities, the Supreme Soviet serving as the representative lower house and the Politburo as the upper house.

Economic System: The Soviet Empire is a planned economy, but greater democratic participation in the planning has allowed it to become more efficient and eliminate some corruption. The recommendations of the lower soviets are taken into account when planning the next year's production.

Military:
Active-Duty Army: 2,250,000
Reserve: 1,750,000

Main Productions: Oil, coal, steel, precious metals and jems, industrial equipment, timber

Population: 283,938,469

History of the Nation: The Soviet Empire of Eurasia was established in 2018 due to the elapsing term of President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation. To cement his power, he crowned himself Emperor of a new, both Soviet and Imperial, state. Putin's United Russia party merged with the Communist Party and formed one cohesive program for running the nation. Over the next twenty years he secured his power, crushing protests and revolts, and succeeded in accomplishing the membership of Ukraine and Kazakhstan in the Empire. During World War III, Ukraine was successfully annexed into the Empire fully, and it has designs on the states of Central Asia and the Baltic which were once part of the Soviet Union.

However, in 2032, leading his army in Central Asia, Vladimir Putin was assassinated by Islamic extremists, and the war was called to a halt as his son, Vyacheslav Putin, was crowned the new Emperor. Since the end of the war, Vyacheslav has been consolidating his power and improving the economy and industry of Russia to prepare for war once again. The Soviet Empire has close ties with the Second Ethiopian Empire, due to their funding of the government and due to their mutual struggle against Islamic extremists in Central Asia and North Africa, and hopes to continue such a partnership.

Demographics:

Ukrainian- 18.1%
Kazakh- 11.2%
Belarusian- 6.3%

I bet 300 bucks I post again before you, Hael. Now go!

I was going to write this weekend, but we had a fury-of-god style storm and everybody lost power. Electricity went down here sometime Thursday night/Friday morning and it didn't come back until a few hours ago.

I can report, however, that driving through a city with no power at three in the morning is kinda really cool.

Why not Soviet Empire? The Soviet Empire of Russia

To heck with it, it's fiction, that makes complete sense XD

YES, FINALLY AN ENEMY OF THE US

The Glorious Second Soviet Union will make its enemies tremble.

Or maybe the Glorious Second Empire. Not sure yet.
Hmm... I am interested in this.

May I claim Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, and Kazakhstan?
@Mihndar

Do what I did: Chinese Graffiti.

Or: the loosely connected collection of plot lines involving four Hong Kong teenagers doing teenager things in Hong Kong. Involving but not limited to: underground club and LSD culture, potential local politics, the gambling scenes, and car races.

I was thinking something to do with Carnival.
I'm heavily considering writing a post, but I feel like I've already gone through all the obvious Brazil plotlines. I need something new... and creative... hmmm.
As the Chancellor lead the two leaders inside, she made a comment on the presence of Nahku. The Premier chuckled, and said, "Well, you know what they say about friends and enemies." She nodded with respect at Commander Hoffer when he introduced himself, whom she had long admired as a skilled commander in the art of air warfare. "Thank you," she replied simply to his compliment, as she shook his hand.

Premier Velikaya raised her eyebrows at the openness of the Chancellor as she began speaking, as she was much more muted with her intentions. Despite this slight indication of surprise, she kept her entirely neutral and expressionless face for the rest of the explanation.

When the Elvish prime minister began to speak, Velikaya turned to examine him. Conceited and decadent, but perhaps less so than usual, she concluded. Perhaps there might be hope of reasonableness in the elven empire after all.

The announcement of the bombing strained her facial control, but she managed. She never could have imagined such a wonderful outcome, one which eliminated a Yllendthyr noble and even now was bringing them to the brink of war with the Sultanate. The most sublime pleasure, she thought to herself, was that of a plan coming together perfectly.

When they had finished, the Premier cleared her throat. "The statement that Yllendthyr and Kataylabinsk might not see eye to eye is a considerable understatement, but I do see your point. The new Sultan, Babur, clearly has a tendency for recklessness and irrationality, which in combination with the upheaval in KalMea makes for a very tense continent. Regardless, the People's Republic's position is the same: if you give us a proposal, we will examine it, but we are reluctant to participate in any offensive endeavor." Leaning back, she wondered what the reaction to her reluctance might be.
